Values too central to abandon

Naturist activist Lee Baxandall, who founded the Naturist Society and whose work led to the formation of the Naturist Action Committee and the Naturist Education Foundation, was an early advocate for a diverse and inclusive naturism. As author Brian Hoffman notes in his book Naked: A Cultural History of American Nudism, “Baxandall welcomed a growing interest in TNS (the Naturist Society) among gay men and lesbians who saw naturism as an alternative to an urban gay identity defined by privilege, whiteness, and a depoliticized commercial culture.”Baxandall began his work as a free beach activist in 1975. During that period, he observed the critical role lesbians and gays played in securing clothing-optional spaces on the nation's beaches. In an editorial published in the November 1981 issue of Clothed With The Sun, Baxandall writes: “Gays on the nude beach have often led because of more experience at defying intimidation on behalf of values too central to abandon.” 🪐 This is a public episode. Andee Rodgers' 'ImPerfect' journey

Andee Rodgers is at the forefront of a movement that champions the role of women in the world of naturism. As the current president of Serenity Mountain Retreat, Rodgers has taken on a significant role within the American Association for Nude Recreation (AANR), focusing on advocating for Women in Nude Recreation (WINR). Grace Crowley's naturist webcomics

Loxie & Zoot is a webcomic created by Grace Crowley which ran from 2003 to 2006, during the big webcomic boom when titles like Penny Arcade, Ctrl+Alt+Del, and 8-Bit Theater rose to prominence. Its titular characters run an Australian nudist camp together called Koala Bares, populated by a diverse cast of characters including multiple men named Herb and an eccentric old man named Mungo who seems to be able to see into the future.Over the comic’s run, they deal with the anti-nude politician Tex Tyler’s weird schemes, college porn scams, a traveler from another dimension, and jewel thieves who aren’t what you expect. These storylines are all quite elaborate, with Crowley weaving multiple plot threads together involving several cast members, plus plenty of zany, good natured gags and frank discussions of body image and other familiar nudist issues without ever sounding preachy. 🪐 This is a public episode. Wisconsin's legislative halt brings a tentative victory for naturist rights

In a surprising turn of events, the Wisconsin State Legislature has apparently opted not to advance the controversial anti-nudity bills SB 477 and SB 478 to the assembly agenda before the closure of their legislative session this week, leaving naturism advocates cautiously optimistic. Despite a scheduled session focused on budgetary items in March, the likelihood of these bills being revisited remains low, marking a critical moment for proponents of body freedom in the state, though it is tempered by a lack of definitive closure and continued anxiety over what has amounted to a dangerously close call. 🪐 This is a public episode. Orrie Hitt’s novel Nudist Camp

Dolls and Dues, Suburban Wife, The Torrid Teens, Call Me Bad, Dial ‘M’ for Man—all characteristic titles for pulp fiction short stories and novels of the 40s and 50s. But Orrie Hitt (1916-1975) was not your typical writer of pulp fiction, and some of his 150-plus novels also have more unexpected and intriguing titles—take Panda Bear Passion, Love in the Arctic, Ex-Virgin, Diploma Dolls, and Abnormal Norma for example. The writer Brian Greene dubs Hitt “the Shakespeare of Shabby Street,” and a “visionary artist” who explored characters within “moving human dramas.” (Shabby Street is both a metaphor here and the title of an early Hitt novel.)At first glance, Nudist Camp, published in 1957, appears to be just another exploitative example of the genre, but there is a little more going on between its covers than meets the eye. 🪐 This is a public episode. Little Beach needs friends

The Friends of Little Beach (FoLB) are locked in a culture war with Hawaii’s Department of Land and Natural Resources (DLNR) over the right to nude sunbathing at Little Beach. Facing increased enforcement, the group has launched an alert system to evade police citations and reignited their advocacy, gathering over 5,000 signatures to support clothing-optional status. A call for unity (and nudity) in California

With DeAnza Springs Resort “going textile” last July, Olive Dell Ranch being listed for sale a few days later (since unlisted), and Lupin Lodge a few months later, the California nudist community is in turmoil. Members of these resorts, and of the non-landed clubs that often used them, feel confused and abandoned. But all is not lost in the Golden State. There are still landed and non-landed clubs that are stable and thriving, and regional and national organizations dedicated to the cause. What is needed is an opportunity for everyone who cares about social nudism in California and beyond to gather, vent and discuss, feel the passion that still exists, have some fun together, and help chart a path forward. This moment brings with it a call for California nudists to come together. A call for unity. 🪐 This is a public episode. Are we sabotaging the effort to get women into naturism?

The naturist community prides itself on taking up the charge for diversity, inclusivity, and body positivity in an effort to foster a sense of equality among all participants. However, recent incidents have highlighted inadvertent consequences of mixed messaging, hindering women's integration into naturist spaces. As a naturist woman, I've advocated for women to embrace naturism, highlighting its positive impact on body image and mental well-being while consistently challenging societal norms perpetuated by print media, entertainment, and social platforms. 🪐 This is a public episode. British bodies, French film

Not long after I released my book, Nudism in a Cold Climate: The Visual Culture of Naturists in Mid-20th-Century Britain, a review feature appeared in the French newspaper, La Libération. Wittily subtitled ‘Tout Nus Mais Pas Bronzés’ [‘Everybody is Nude, but Nobody is Tanned’], the 2022 article was accompanied by a monochrome 1948 photograph from the book, showing pale, white-skinned diners in a nudist club restaurant in the south of England. 🪐 This is a public episode. We got it all, and we show it all!

“We got it all, and we show it all!” shouts the Cavalcade of Perversion ringmaster Mr. David (David Lochary) to a crowd of curious carnival goers in director John Waters’ 1970 underground feature Multiple Maniacs. Inside the Cavalcade’s tent is an array of performers in various states of undress, engaged in activities that are viewed as obscene or perverse by the conservative suburban audience. Though Waters has utilized shock and showmanship to market his films, the scene acknowledges an uncomfortable truth about the American entertainment industry. American filmmakers lure moviegoers by appealing to their visceral rather than their intellectual sensibilities. They offer movies with familiar, traditional plot structures and cartoonishly simplistic characters, enhanced by gratuitous violence, exaggerated drama, and uncontextualized nudity. 🪐 This is a public episode. On the other side of fear

I discovered naturism when I was facing my biggest fear in life. I had spent eight years trying to acquiesce and appease this fear. Actually, that’s not quite true; I had spent twenty-one years doing that, but the last eight were particularly more difficult. Though the appeasement attempts were mostly successful, appeasement never makes fear go away, it just buries it temporarily. During this time, I saw a photo of a naked woman and was mesmerized by it. It took a while to decipher the source of the appeal. She was striking a powerful pose, but that wasn’t the only thing; the entire photo was not sexualized. There was also a naked man in the photo, and she was clearly more powerful than him, but even that didn’t matter. What mattered was that she showed up as a human being, first and foremost. It was so unusual, so arresting; it moved something deep inside me. (Years later, I find that it is still very different; even amongst many naturist photos, it’s as if the lens consumes a woman’s body in a very narrow box.) I decided I needed to know more. 🪐 This is a public episode. If you'd like to discuss this with other subscribers or get access to bonus episodes, visit www.planetnude.co/subscribe

New Jersey proposes amendments to sexually oriented business laws

On January 9th, 2024, New Jersey lawmakers, led by Republicans Carmen F. Amato, Jr. and Brian E. Rumpf, introduced Senate Bill No. 1905 and Assembly Bill No. 1723. These proposals seek to update the existing legal framework, specifically targeting the operational scope and zoning requirements of businesses classified under this category. Remembering Eva Grant (1924-2024)

Eva Grant was a former glamour model turned glamour photographer who photographed for nudist/naturist magazines postwar. She died on January 22nd, 2024, at age 98. I was intrigued by her when I researched my 2021 book, Nudism in a Cold Climate, as she represented one of a very small band of British women who worked as professional nude photographers. The fact that she made the move into the profession from the other side of the camera also added to her story. I found women’s voices harder to locate than men’s in the history of nudism in Britain, and in the history of nude photography. They tended to get spoken on behalf of, but Grant was an exception: she seized the means of production to develop her own photography business and she built her own publishing platform through which to show it. 🪐 This is a public episode. #NoFilter

Immediate. Today, I am sure that most of us hear this word and understand it to mean now, to mean without delay, or without the barrier of time separating me from the thing I want. Immediacy, in our fast-paced world driven by consumerism and access to information, is about speed and convenience more than anything else. That is, after all, the most common definition you’ll find in any dictionary: “occurring or accomplished without delay.” But the wordy guy in me, the one who took all those linguistics and language history courses in school, has been thinking a lot about those less common uses of the word and how that relates to our body and our experience of the world around us, whether we truly experience any of our world immediately, and whether immediacy should even be the goal or if it’s just one of many important ways to experience life. 🪐 This is a public episode. Deepfake dangers

In early January, there was a great post here on Planet Nude about AI’s anti-nude bias in art. Concerns were raised about AI censorship, including my caution about the dangers of AI misusing nudity. On January 26, this concern became real with fake explicit AI images of Taylor Swift surfacing online, alarming the White House and prompting Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella to advocate for AI guardrails. SAG-AFTRA called for a ban on such images. This incident underlines the need for a deeper conversation on body freedom and how nudity is perceived outside safe spaces. It raises questions about the safety of women in an era where technology outpaces law, especially for those without extensive support systems. 🪐 This is a public episode. Wisconsin DNR board enacts nudity ban on state lands

In a board meeting held on January 24th, the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (DNR) board voted unanimously in favor of a new set of rules, prominently featuring a ban on public nudity on state natural lands. The state agency, which is appointed by the Governor to oversee environmental and recreational policies, voted to pass the rule changes unamended, despite a strong public response opposing the ban. Beyond its adverse implications for naturists and advocates of nude recreation, this decision significantly diminishes any hopes of reinstating the once-nudist-friendly Mazomanie Beach. This decision gravely impacts the naturist community and dashes hopes of reviving Mazo Beach as a nude-friendly site. Coupled with two pending anti-nudity bills in the state legislature, this ruling by the DNR positions Wisconsin to establish one of the most restrictive stances on nudity of any state in the USA, setting a potentially alarming precedent nationwide. 🪐 This is a public episode. Nudism, punk rock, and anti-authoritarianism

More than just a lack of dress, nudism is a proposition of sorts. It invites you to abandon the dogma of a society that has handed down the long-held conservative mores of its parent generation—and their parents before them—all the way back to the birth of bodily shame, the Original Sin. “Desexualize nudity” doesn’t mean what you think it does

We hear it all the time from naturism advocates: “Desexualize nudity.” It even has its own hashtag. I noticed the phrase being thrown around soon after I joined the online nudist community, and I often found it rubbed me the wrong way. It’s not that I think nudity should be sexual. Just take a look at my Twitter feed, and you’ll see that I’m a strong advocate for non-sexual nudity. But the way it was being used and interpreted by many struck me as overly simplistic, harmful, and counterproductive to the nudist cause. 🪐Read the original article: https://www.planetnude.co/p/desexualize-nudity-doesnt-mean-whatWebpage for this episode: https://www.planetnude.co/p/desexualize-nudity-doesnt-mean-what-pod This is a public episode. What have you got to hide?

In the 2018 French science fiction television series Nu, written and directed by Olivier Fox, naturist activist Jean Lanvin (Thomas Séraphine) successfully campaigns for an ordinance to make public nudity the norm in France, arguing, with little evidence, that a nation that supports such an ambitious commitment to openness will be freer, friendlier, and safer. Class distinctions will vanish, and crime and terrorism will be eliminated. His proposal attracts the support of an authoritarian-curious politician named Simoni (Bruno Paviot), who is intrigued by the Orwellian possibilities of a society that disavows privacy. When the ordinance passes, public nudity is mandated by what comes to be known as the Transparency Act, and those who wear clothing face suspicion, social ostracization, and, eventually, even arrest. 🪐Read the original article: https://www.planetnude.co/p/what-have-you-got-to-hideWebpage for this episode: https://www.planetnude.co/p/what-have-you-got-to-hide-pod This is a public episode. AI art's anti-nudity bias

I’ve written before about generative AI and its apparent discomfort with the nude form in art. To probe this a little further, I turned to three popular AI art-generation platforms with the goal of recreating five famous nude artworks, in hopes of comparing the counterfeit works against their original counterparts and examining this bias and its effects. To be clear: this isn't an attempt to establish the existence of an anti-nudity bias in AI art platforms—that’s already a well-known fact, usually explicitly stated in their terms of use. Rather, I hope to shine a light on this bias, and to look a little more closely at it. We will also look at some of the history behind these great works and the significance of the nudity they display, some of which were once quite controversial themselves specifically due to their use of nudity. To be even clearer: I did not set out to make clothed replicas of great nude art. I set out simply to make AI replicas of great nude art. It was the AI that added the clothes.Hopefully, by the end of this article, we will have examined some of the questions surrounding these AI biases, and explored their implications with regards to nudity’s role in culture and art, in a future that is likely to be heavily influenced by Artificial Intelligence. 🪐Read the original article: https://www.planetnude.co/p/ai-arts-anti-nudity-biasWebpage for this episode: https://www.planetnude.co/p/ai-arts-anti-nudity-bias-pod This is a public episode. Ungewitter’s ‘Nakedness’

Die Nackheit, written in 1906 by Richard Ungewitter, is considered the foundational text for the nudist movement as we know it today. Where have all the nudists gone?

I might have used “naturists” in the title, but that wouldn’t have harmonized as well with Pete Seegers's lyrics (“flowers” instead of “nudists”). But there’s not much difference in the two terms anyhow. And besides, there may not be many young people who’re sure who Pete Seeger was. That matters, as will become apparent. This question has been on the minds of many naturists recently because of the potential loss of as many as four once-popular naturist resorts in California this year or next. DeAnza Springs Resort went textile just a few months ago. At least three other California naturist properties have gone on the market in the same period, leaving their future as naturist places in considerable doubt. The three are Lupin Lodge, Olive Dell Ranch, and Desert Sun Resort. Lupin, in particular, is a serious concern, as it’s been in continuous operation as a naturist haven since 1935, only about five years after naturism arrived in the U.S. It’s among the five oldest naturist resorts still in operation in the country. 🪐Read the original article: https://www.planetnude.co/p/where-have-all-the-nudists-goneWebpage for this episode: https://www.planetnude.co/p/where-have-all-the-nudists-gone-pod This is a public episode. Bad nudes

In the news this week is an alarming story accompanied by photographs of captured Palestinian men who had been stripped nearly naked and lined up side by side, with vague and conflicting reports of whether the men were civilians. Regardless, the images have caused outrage and bring to mind other, similar instances of forced nakedness seen in recent news, history books, and documentaries, from my own country and from others, committed against prisoners, marginalized groups, and indigenous peoples. I’m sure you can recall for yourself—likely more than one case—without any help from me. It wasn’t more than a few weeks prior that a very different story began running through the news cycle: A troubling trend of teenage girls whose likeness had been taken without their consent and, with the help of AI, had been used to create deepfake nude photos and pornography, violating the girls’ claim to their own bodies and their right to decide when and where and who has access to them. Certainly, in the context of the war, terrorism, and indiscriminate loss of life taking place in Israel and Gaza, forced disrobement is perhaps the least of the atrocities. Likewise, fake nude and sexual images generated using someone’s likeness are arguably less atrocious than distributing someone’s actual, private, nude or sexual photos, and decidedly less so than cases of real-world physical or sexual abuse and harassment. None of these cases, however, are trivial just because the offense could have been worse.Though the contexts of these stories are very different, the impact of these forms of nonconsensual nudity remains the same: demoralization, humiliation, and dehumanization of the subjects. Both cases serve to strip a person or people of their pride, their self-worth, and their ownership of their bodies within a larger context of systemic oppression toward vulnerable groups or individuals. Though perhaps less atrocious than other offenses, it serves no one to diminish the traumatic impact of such acts, to downplay the importance of maintaining ownership and decision-making power over one’s body. 🪐Read the original article: https://www.planetnude.co/p/bad-nudesWebpage for this episode: https://www.planetnude.co/p/bad-nudes-pod This is a public episode. Get naked and dance!

I’ve been taking dance classes for almost three years now. I decided I wanted to learn how to dance in order to form a better relationship with my body, to be less stiff and inexpressive in how I carry myself, and to hopefully become a better art model. It very quickly turned into a passion, and a little over a year later I danced in my first performances, which led to the creation of a new dance group with some friends called Embodied Art Dance. Our focus is on combining performing and visual arts, emphasizing the human form through movement and figure drawing.I’m still very new to dance; particularly the cultures that have developed around it. I’ve been reading more on the subject and have been pleasantly surprised by how it connects with my passion for nudism as well. 🪐Read the original article: https://www.planetnude.co/p/get-naked-and-danceWebpage for this episode: https://www.planetnude.co/p/get-naked-and-dance-pod This is a public episode. Wisconsin Senate Committee takes its turn advancing anti-nudity legislation

MADISON, WI – In yet another development in the ongoing legislative saga, the Wisconsin Senate Committee on Mental Health, Substance Abuse Prevention, Children and Families has now passed the contentious Senate Bills 477 & 478. In this latest advancement, both bills passed by party-line 3-2 votes during the executive session on November 28th, mirroring the party-line vote that was held on the bills just two weeks ago by the Assembly Committee on Criminal Justice and Public Safety, and underscoring the partisan divide on the issue of public nudity and civil liberties. 🪐Read the original article: https://www.planetnude.co/p/wisconsin-senate-committee-takesWebpage for this episode: https://www.planetnude.co/p/wisconsin-senate-committee-takes-pod This is a public episode. Nudism at a crossroads in California

In California’s naturist communities, there’s an ongoing struggle to preserve a culture under threat, with no less than four naturist clubs facing an impending or recent change of ownership. As residents at well-known naturist spots like Desert Sun Resort and DeAnza Springs Resort conflict with reluctant owners, and others like Olive Dell Ranch and Lupin Lodge face potential sales, a crucial question emerges: How can a culture of naturism be protected amidst these changes? 🪐Read the original article: https://www.planetnude.co/p/nudism-at-a-crossroads-in-californiaWebpage for this episode: https://www.planetnude.co/p/nudism-at-a-crossroads-in-california-pod This is a public episode. On embracing external support for nudism

Nudists and naturists need allies beyond our community—supportive individuals, regardless of their attire, who are willing to advocate for us. We need to cultivate those communities among people we trust, and we need our national and regional organizations to do the same. We need not to gatekeep when people speak up on our behalf, and we need these relationships with the cultural and social majority to serve as a bulwark against retrogressive anti-nudity laws that are being and will be pursued across the country. 🪐Read the original article: https://www.planetnude.co/p/on-embracing-external-support-forWebpage for this episode: https://www.planetnude.co/p/on-embracing-external-support-for-pod This is a public episode. Petition launched to save Seattle's nude beach

Denny Blaine Park, an iconic nudist and queer-friendly space in Seattle, Washington, is facing a significant change. The City of Seattle is planning to add a children’s play area to this popular park, renowned for its clothing-optional beach and as a queer community hub. The proposed play area, intended to fill a gap in local amenities, is slated to be built on the park’s northwest edge, an area with public access to Lake Washington. Amidst these developments, a petition was launched to halt the construction of the play area, rapidly gaining hundreds of supporters within the first 24 hours of its creation. 🪐Read the original article: https://www.planetnude.co/p/petition-launched-to-save-seattlesWebpage for this episode: https://www.planetnude.co/p/petition-launched-to-save-seattles-pod This is a public episode. Go with the flow

India Rakusen’s 2022 podcast, 28ish Days Later, explores the whole bloody story of the menstrual cycle. Early in the series, she introduces the concept of mapping your cycles phases to seasons in a year – winter (menstruation), spring (follicular phase), summer (ovulatory phase), and autumn (luteal phase). Not only is this concept empowering in terms of understanding shifts in moods and energies, I can’t help but think—what could be more naturist? In many aspects, the menstrual cycle is one of the most natural connections to the earth and moon. (Men’s cycles are more like the day/night cycle, with moods and hormones rising and falling in 24-hour cycles.) In some ways, naturists are aware of this and celebrate it, but in other more practical applications and engrained thinking, there is a lot of oppression. 🪐Read the original article: https://www.planetnude.co/p/go-with-the-flowWebpage for this episode: https://www.planetnude.co/p/go-with-the-flow-pod This is a public episode. ‘Naked Fear’ book review

Naked Fear: Anti-Body Myths, Phobias, Delusions, and the Madness of Modesty (2010) is the full title of the second book from Dennis Craig Smith, his first being the Naked Child: Growing Up Without Shame (1981), which is known for its informal study Smith performed interviewing adults who had grown up in naturism to dispel stigmas associated with child exposure to nudity. Naked Fear could be seen as the flipside of the earlier study: the book takes an exhaustive look at the anti-body culture that has been established by western civilization, highlighting specific people and organizations responsible for such repressive attitudes and how these attitudes are maintained. Aggressive in tone and fragmented feeling at times, Naked Fear is otherwise an informative book on the history of western colonial society’s efforts to censor the naked body and avoid any discussion of its parts and functions. However, at least for me, it had a few other issues. 🪐Read the original article: https://www.planetnude.co/p/naked-fear-2010-book-reviewWebpage for this episode: https://www.planetnude.co/p/naked-fear-book-review-pod This is a public episode. Inside the Wisconsin Assembly’s latest hearing on anti-nudity bills

The Wisconsin Assembly Committee on Criminal Justice and Public Safety conducted its first public hearing on the proposed anti-nudity bills, AB 503 and 504, this past Tuesday. The two bills are written to target and effectively outlaw the World Naked Bike Ride (WNBR) in the state. In contrast to the previous public hearing convened last month by the Wisconsin Senate Committee on Mental Health, Substance Abuse Prevention, Children, and Families—which was held with almost no advance notice—Tuesday's hearing was scheduled with at least a week's notice. This enabled activists across the state to more effectively organize their efforts to attend and voice their opposition to the restrictive legislation. Consequently, the committee witnessed a diverse range of citizen speakers delivering compelling and coordinated testimony against the bills, bolstered by impassioned arguments against their enactment, and only two speakers in support of the bills, both of whom are legislators who are responsible for the bills’ authorship. 🪐Read the original article: https://www.planetnude.co/p/inside-the-wisconsin-assemblys-latestWebpage for this episode: https://www.planetnude.co/p/inside-the-wisconsin-assemblys-latest-pod This is a public episode. The specific details about the new owners and their plans remain undisclosed. No public announcement has been made by the club on their website or social media. Beauty duty

Tonight, beauty made me cry but not in the poetic way of being moved to tears. Beauty rubbed salt in old, raw wounds, wounds that are an initiation rite for the vast majority of women. The instigator of salt was an article on Chinese women defying their beauty culture. These women are getting buzz cuts in a culture that values long hair, rejecting high heels, diets, makeup and other norms, risking abuse and censorship. These observations I have shared are initiation for many women; they are old wounds and they are new wounds, and deserve to be seen as much as our bodies do. 🪐Read the original article: https://www.planetnude.co/p/beauty-dutyWebpage for this episode: https://www.planetnude.co/p/beauty-duty-pod This is a public episode. The spiritual dance of nudity: Interview with a Wiccan

In the realm of contemporary spirituality, a unique connection exists between Wicca and naturism. Today, I aim to explore this intricate relationship with Liam Cyfrin, an Australian-born writer and editor who currently resides in the United States. Liam has made notable contributions to the modern world of Wicca, including co-editing Shadowplay Magazine since its inception in 1984, and regularly contributing articles to an Australian magazine called WitchCraft. He has also collaborated with musician and author Fiona Horne on several books, including Witch: A Personal Journey (1998) and Pop! Goes the Witch: The Disinformation Guide to 21st Century Witchcraft (2004). Notably, Liam is a lifelong naturist, and he asserts that this lifestyle seamlessly aligns with both Wicca and the modern Pagan movement. In asking him for an interview, it was my hope to explore the spiritual significance of nudity in Wicca through Liam’s experience, to examine the intersection between Wicca and naturism, and hopefully to touch on the historical context and ethical principles that underpin this enigmatic practice. Those are lofty aims for a short article, but hopefully if we fall short of achieving those goals it will at least have been an enjoyable read. More trouble in Madison: Wisconsin anti-nude bills advance to State Assembly

At the close of last month, the Wisconsin State Senate introduced bills SB 477 and SB 478, measures that immediately rang alarm bells for advocates of body freedom and civil liberties. These bills aim to criminalize all public nudity in Wisconsin, using a particularly conservative definition of nudity. Adding to the concern, administrative action followed when the state Department of Natural Resources announced new rule amendments that threaten to outlaw nudity on state lands. In a concerning development yesterday, Assembly Bills 503 and 504 were introduced in the Wisconsin State Assembly and referred to the Committee on Criminal Justice and Public Safety. These bills serve as the lower house counterparts to Senate Bills 477 and 478, a necessary step for the legislation to advance beyond committee stages in both chambers. Given its influential role in vetting crime-related legislation, the Assembly's Committee on Criminal Justice and Public Safety will be a focal point for advocates tracking these bills. 🪐 🪐NAC Action Alert: https://www.planetnude.co/p/nac-action-alert-wisconsin-sb477"Double Standards in Dairyland": https://www.planetnude.co/p/double-standards-in-dairylandWebpage for this episode: https://www.planetnude.co/p/more-trouble-in-madison-wisconsin-podRead the original article for this episode: https://www.planetnude.co/p/more-trouble-in-madison-wisconsin This is a public episode.
