Week 8 and what a week it was! Dublin Bay Raptors, MU Hurricanes, Trinity, Westmeath Minotaurs, Dublin Rebels and the Edenderry Eagles battled it out in the Summer Shield Tournament Final with the Eagles ultimately coming out on top and maintaining their undefeated run. The Donegal Derry Vipers and Antrim Jets won their fixtures against the Causeway Giants and the NI Razorbacks, respectively, meaning that the Donaghy Group Cup final will see a repeat of the group's week1 fixture of the Jets vs Vipers. Looking ahead; with the SD Panthers unable to field a team, this weekend will see the Rebels @ Trojans friendly and the return of Wolfhounds kitted training. (Originally published Aug 2021)

This week, Rob and Kelly reflect on Sunday's Cowboys @ Trojans game which finished 20-21 and look forward to the next round of friendly games for both teams. We make our predictions for Week 3 of the Donaghy Group Cup games which will see the Razorbacks take on the Jets, and the Giants take on the Vipers, kicking off this Sunday in Armoy. In Flag, we have a playoff picture with the Minotaurs due to play Trinity, the Raptors due to play the Canes, and the Rebels and Eagles sitting comfortably on a bye. Rob returns to the 'Cast after a two week break with a proposal for the Donegal Derry Vipers.
