Like many who have lived through the nightmare of parental alienation, I thought I knew all there was to know after experiencing it with my husband. But as I began speaking with child advocates, counselors, social workers, and other professionals, I realized that simply living through it didn’t mean I fully understood it. I wasn’t connecting the dots for them, and if I wanted to make a real impact, I knew I needed to bridge that gap. This realization led me to dive deep into evidence-based research. Now, I’m passionate about combing through books, journal articles and other resources to uncover key insights that can make a difference for those going through this.Through this podcast, I aim to break down the most important findings and present them in a way that resonates with you. My goal is not only to give you information that sticks but also to provide practical tools to help you along your journey.Join me as I confront the psychological abuse of Parental Alienation with an evidence-based approach, delivering expert insights and actionable strategies to understand, navigate, and cope with its harmful impact. The information shared in this podcast is drawn from my YouTube videos. S1 Ep 18Changing the Precedent of Parental Alienation: Sharp v. Keeler

Arkansas Court of AppealsCyndall Sharp (Alienator) v. MJ Keeler (Target Parent)May 9, 2007Join me as I explore this precedential case whereby Cyndall Sharp (alienator) appeals the Washington County Circuit Court's grant of M.J. Keeler's (Target Parent) petition for change of custody of the parties' minor son, Corbin Michael Jonas Sharp Keeler, who was born August 30, 2004. On appeal, she argues that the trial court erred in finding (1) that she "acted in ways to the detriment of the child and that parental alienation on the part of appellant was a material change of circumstances warranting modification of its original custody decree and thereby granting custody to appellee, M.J. Keeler," and (2) that she was only entitled to supervised visitation when there were no facts to support a finding that supervised visitation was in Corbin's best interest. Will the Arkansas Court of Appeals uphold the trial court's orders?Tune in to find out!...Sharp v. S1 Ep 17Changing the Precedent of Parental Alienation: Hanson vs. Spolnik

Indiana Court of AppealsMarianne Lawrence Hanson (Alienator) vs. Edward Joseph Spolnik (Target Parent) August 29, 1995 Join me as I explore this precedential 1995 custody case at the Indiana Court of Appeals. In this appeal, Marianne Lawrence Hanson (mother) challenges a decision that granted sole legal & physical custody of her 4-year-old daughter to Edward Joseph Spolnik, Jr. (father) largely due to her relentless use of parental alienation tactics. In this analysis, we examine Dr. Richard Lawlor's expert testimony as a child psychologist, revealing the deep psychological impact of these alienation tactics on the child and the extent to which Marianne attempted to sever the father-daughter bond. Hear direct quotes from Marianne which reveal an angry narcissist intent on destruction.Key legal issues include whether a "substantial change in circumstances" warranted the custody modification, the fairness of Marianne’s visitation restrictions, her responsibility for Edward’s attorney fees, and her contempt ruling for breaching a restraining order. Discover how child psychology insights shaped this custody ruling and how this court weighed the best interests of the child in this complex alienation case.---“Hanson v. S1 Ep 1What Is Parental Alienation?

In this episode, I delve into the complex and often misunderstood topic of parental alienation. Parental alienation occurs when (typically) one parent, intentionally or unintentionally, influences a child to reject or distance themselves from the other parent, often as part of a high-conflict separation or divorce. This behavior is a form of psychological abuse that can leave lasting emotional scars on children and alienated parents alike.I explore our definition of parental alienation, the signs of parental alienation, the long-term impact on children, and how manipulation tactics can distort a child’s perception of the alienated parent. For Free Evidence-Based Resources: Printable PDF BrochuresSign Up For My Free E-Course: Free Parental Alienation E-CourseYouTube Channel: YouTube ChannelReferences
