Hi there! Paisley Imperfect here. 🌿
This month, we're diving into the theme of being still. After a rough May filled with hard emotions, hurtful gossip, and challenging situations, I found myself seeking relief and kept hearing, "Be still." It took some time for the message to sink in, but eventually, it resonated deeply.
In today's video, I'm sharing insights from Elder Ricardo P. Gimenez's talk from April 2020, "Finding Refuge from the Storms of Life."; He discusses facing unexpected challenges and how suffering is universal, but our reactions are individual. His words reminded me that faith is the antidote for fear and that true joy comes from our Savior, Jesus Christ.
Throughout June, let's explore what being still means for each of us. Whether it's a sticky note reminder, yoga, meaningful prayers, or another practice, let's find our way to stillness and refuge.
