On today's episode we're joined by Jack Hayes (Hazy Fadez)
Jack, known professionally as Hazy Fades, is a barber with nine years of experience in the industry. He started his barbering journey at a young age, cutting his cousin's hair when he was around 10 years old, though his first attempt was not a success.
His professional career began after he saw a Facebook post from LMC Barbershop. Jack spent three years at LMC Barbershop, learning the fundamentals of barbering and developing his skills.
He transitioned to working from home during the COVID-19 pandemic, seeing it as an opportunity to start his own business. This move, while challenging, was supported by his fiancée, Steph, and proved to be a significant step in his career. Hazy Fadez has established a strong brand presence and a loyal clientele built through word-of-mouth and social media. Jack emphasizes the importance of passion and dedication in the barbering profession, believing that enjoying the process is key to success.
He aims to create a positive and comfortable environment for his clients, fostering a sense of community within his work.
Beyond barbering, Jack is a passionate football fan, particularly supporting Liverpool FC, a passion passed down from his grandfather.
He also values family immensely, with his wife Steph and son Archie being his primary source of motivation and success.
Looking to the future, Jack plans to expand Hazy Fadez by opening a physical barbershop and potentially taking on apprentices to share his skills and passion for barbering.
He is also committed to giving back to the community, organizing charity events focused on raising awareness for men's mental health.
