「え、自分の人生に干渉してくる人たちを嫌っているのに、わざわざ、その人たちに文句を言われないために生き方を選択するんですか？」
それは、結局、世界を全面的に受容することなのでは、と不思議に思ったが、「僕はもう渡れたんだ」と白羽さんがいうので頷いた。
「渡れるのは、悲合理的ですね。結婚をしただで文句を言われないなら、手早くて合理的ですね。
「簡単に言わないでくださいよ。女と違って、男はそれだけじゃ文句を言われるんだよ。社会に出ていなければ就職しろ、就職すればもっと金を稼げ、金を稼げば稼をもらって子孫を作れ。ずっと世界に鯖から続ける。気楽な女と一緒にしないでください」
不機嫌そうに白羽さんが言い、「え、それでは全然解決しないじゃないですか。意味ないのでは？と言ったが、白羽さんはそれには答えずに熱心に喋りつづけた。

"I want a partner with money. I have an idea for an online business, you know. I can't explain it in detail because I don't want it to be copied. Having someone invest in it would be fantastic. My idea will definitely succeed, and then no one can complain."
「え、自分の人生に干渉してくる人たちを嫌っているのに、わざわざ、その人たちに文句を言われないために生き方を選択するんですか？」
"Huh, you dislike people who interfere in your life, yet you're deliberately choosing a way of life so that those people won't complain about you?"
それは、結局、世界を全面的に受容することなのでは、と不思議に思ったが、「僕はもう渡れたんだ」と白羽さんがいうので頷いた。
I wondered if that ultimately meant fully accepting the world, but I nodded when Shiraha-san said, "I've already crossed that bridge."
「渡れるのは、悲合理的ですね。結婚をしただで文句を言われないなら、手早くて合理的ですね。」
"Crossing that bridge is ironically pragmatic, you know. If you marry, you won't be complained about, so it's quick and pragmatic."
「簡単に言わないでくださいよ。女と違って、男はそれだけじゃ文句を言われるんだよ。社会に出ていなければ就職しろ、就職すればもっと金を稼げ、金を稼げば稼をもらって子孫を作れ。ずっと世界に鯖から続ける。気楽な女と一緒にしないでください」
"Don't say it so lightly, please. Unlike women, men get complained about just for that. If you're not working in society, get a job. If you have a job, earn more money, receive an allowance, and create grandchildren. Keep supporting the world from behind the scenes. Don't compare it to easygoing women."
不機嫌そうに白羽さんが言い、「え、それでは全然解決しないじゃないですか。意味ないのでは？」と言ったが、白羽さんはそれには答えずに熱心に喋りつづけた。
Shiraha-san said, looking displeased, "Huh, then it won't be resolved at all, will it? Isn't it pointless?" But Shiraha-san continued to speak enthusiastically without responding to that.
