「白羽さん、そろそろ制服に着替えてください。朝礼しないと相田に開いませんよ」客の悪口を言い始めた白羽さんに言うと、渋々と言うった調子でリュックを持ってロッカーへ行った。荷物をロッカーへ押し込みながら、まだ一人でぶつぶつ何かを言っている。
白羽さんを見ながら、私は、さっき店長に吸い出された中年の男性を思い浮かべていた。
「あの。。。修復されますよ？」
「え？」
よく聞こえなかったのんか、白羽さんが聞き返す。
「いえ、何でもないです。着替えたら、急いで朝礼しましょう？」
コンビニな強制的に正常化される場だから、あなたなんて、すぐに修復されてしまいますよ。
私はそれを口には出さず、のらりくらりと着替えている白羽さんのことを見つめていた。
白羽さん、そろそろ制服に着替えてください。朝礼しないと相田に開いませんよ」
"Shiraha -san, please change into your uniform soon. The morning meeting won't start without you."
客の悪口を言い始めた白羽さんに言うと、渋々と言うった調子でリュックを持ってロッカーへ行った。
When I told Shiraha -san, who had started badmouthing customers, they reluctantly grabbed their backpack and headed to the locker.
荷物をロッカーへ押し込みながら、まだ一人でぶつぶつ何かを言っている。
While cramming their belongings into the locker, they were still muttering something to themselves alone.
白羽さんを見ながら、私は、さっき店長に吸い出された中年の男性を思い浮かべていた。
While looking at Shiraha-san, I recalled the middle-aged man who had been scolded by the manager earlier.
Context: The narrator remembered the middle-aged man who had been scolded by the manager a while ago while observing Shiraha-san.
「あの。。。修復されますよ？」
"Um... you'll get repaired, you know?"
「え？」よく聞こえなかったのんか、白羽さんが聞き返す。
"Huh? Sorry, I didn't catch that," Shiraha-san replied, having not heard clearly.
「いえ、何でもないです。着替えたら、急いで朝礼しましょう？」
"No, it's nothing. Once you change, let's hurry and attend the morning meeting, okay?"
コンビニな強制的に正常化される場だから、あなたなんて、すぐに修復されてしまいますよ。
Because this is a convenience store, it forcefully returns to normal, so someone like you will be fixed in no time.
