勢い良くお辞儀をした所で、ドア開き、無言で白羽さんが入ってきた。
「。。。あ、おはようございます」
気の抜けた小さな声で白羽さんが挨拶する。白羽さんはガリガリに痩せているので、ズボンが下がってしまうのだろう、白いシャツからうっすらとサスペンダーが透けている。腕を見ても、骨にぺったり皮膚が貼り付いているようで、この狭そうな身体の中に内臓はどうやってしまってあるのだろうと思ってしまう。
「白羽さん、遅刻遅刻！５分前には制服着て、朝礼してないと駄目だから！。あと、朝の挨拶はしっかりねー！事務所のドア開ける時は、元気なよく挨拶！それとさあ、休憩中以外は携帯禁止だから！レジの中にもち混んでるっしょ？見てるからねー！」
「あ。。。はら、すみません。。。」
白羽さんが目にめて狼狽する
「え、あの、昨日のことすっよね？古倉さん、見てたんですか？」
私が言いつけたと思ったらしい白羽さんに、「いえ」と首を横に振ると、店長が言った。
「カメラカメラ！俺は夜勤のときもちゃんと昼勤のこと見てるからね！まあ、（６９）携帯のことはルールとしてちゃんと説明してなかったかもだけど、駄目だからねー！」

* "...Ah, good morning," Shirohane greeted with a deflated voice.

* Shirohane greeted with a deflated, small voice. Shirohane was so thin that his pants seemed to slip down, and you could faintly see suspenders through his white shirt.

* Even looking at his arms, it seemed like the skin clung tightly to the bones. I couldn't help but wonder how his organs fit inside this seemingly narrow body.

* "Shirohane, you're late, late! You need to wear your uniform and attend the morning assembly five minutes early! And your morning greetings, make them enthusiastic! When you open the office door, greet cheerfully! Also, during breaks, keep your mobile phone away! The cash register is probably quite crowded, right? I'm watching!"
* 「あ。。。はら、すみません。。。」
* "Uh... I-I'm sorry..."
* 白羽さんが目にめて狼狽する。
* Shirohane looked flustered and bewildered.
* 「え、あの、昨日のことすっよね？古倉さん、見てたんですか？」
* "Um, about yesterday, you saw it, right, Ms. Furukura?"
* 私が言いつけたと思ったらしい白羽さんに、「いえ」と首を横に振ると、店長が言った。
* Shirohane, who seemed to think I had scolded him, shook his head when I replied, "No," and the store manager said,
* 「カメラカメラ！俺は夜勤のときもちゃんと昼勤のこと見てるからね！まあ、（６９）携帯のことはルールとしてちゃんと説明してなかったかもだけど、駄目だからねー！」
* "Cameras, cameras! Even during the night shift, I keep an eye on what happens during the day! Well, I might not have explained the mobile phone rule properly, but it's not allowed!"
