お前は偽物だと言い当てられた気がして、私は慌てて表情を取り繕った。
「。。。そんなことないよ、顔にでないだけ！」
「えー、そうなんですか？古倉さんに怒られたら、まじでショック受けそー！」
菅原さんが高い声で笑う。リラックスした菅原さんの前で、私は細心の注意を払って言葉を紡ぎ、顔の筋肉を動かし続けている。
かごをレジに置く音が聞こえ、素早く振り向くと、つえをついた常連の女性客が立っていた。
「いらっしゃいませ！」
元気よく商品のバーコードをスキャンし始めると、女性は目を細めて言った。
「ここは変わらないわねえ」
私は小しの間のあと、
「そうですね！」と返した。
店長も、店員も、割り箸も、スプーンも、制服も、小銭も、バーコードを通した牛乳も卵も、それを入れるべニール袋も、オープンした当初のものはもうほとんど店にない。ずっとあるけれど、少しずつ入れ替わっている。

I felt like I had been accused of being a fake, so I hastily tried to compose my expression.
「。。。そんなことないよ、顔にでないだけ！」
"...It's not like that at all, it just doesn't show on my face!"
「えー、そうなんですか？古倉さんに怒られたら、まじでショック受けそー！」
"Oh, is that so? If I ever got scolded by Furukura-san, I'd seriously be in shock!"
菅原さんが高い声で笑う。リラックスした菅原さんの前で、私は細心の注意を払って言葉を紡ぎ、顔の筋肉を動かし続けている。
Sugawara-san laughed with a high-pitched voice. In front of the relaxed Sugawara-san, I carefully chose my words and continued to move the muscles of my face.
かごをレジに置く音が聞こえ、素早く振り向くと、つえをついた常連の女性客が立っていた。
I heard the sound of a basket being placed at the cash register, and when I quickly turned around, there was a regular female customer with a cane standing there.
「いらっしゃいませ！」
"Welcome!"
元気よく商品のバーコードをスキャンし始めると、女性は目を細めて言った。
I cheerfully began scanning the product barcodes, and the woman narrowed her eyes and said,
「ここは変わらないわねえ」
"This place hasn't changed, huh?"
私は小しの間のあと、
After a short pause,
「そうですね！」と返した。
I replied, "That's right!"
店長も、店員も、割り箸も、スプーンも、制服も、小銭も、バーコードを通した牛乳も卵も、それを入れるべニール袋も、オープンした当初のものはもうほとんど店にない。ずっとあるけれど、少しずつ入れ替わっている。
The manager, the employees, the disposable chopsticks, the spoons, the uniforms, the small change, the milk passed through the barcode reader, the eggs, and even the plastic bags to put them in, hardly any of the things from when we first opened the store remain. They've been there all along, but they've gradually been replaced.
