場をとりなすようにミホが言う。
「そうそう、増えてるっていうよね。若い人とか、そういうのに興味がないんだよね」
「カミングアウトするのも難しいってテレビで見た、それ」
性経験はないもの、自分のサクシャリティを時に意識したこともない私は、性に無頓着なだけで、時に悩んだことはなかったが、皆、私が若しんでいるということを前提に話をどんどん進めている。例え本当にそうだとしても、皆が言うようた分かりやすい形の苦悩とは限らないのに、誰もそこまで考えようとはしない。

* I, who have no sexual experience and have never consciously considered my own sexuality, have always been indifferent to matters of sex. However, everyone assumes that I'm simply inexperienced and continues with the conversation.
例え本当にそうだとしても、皆が言うようた分かりやすい形の苦悩とは限らないのに、誰もそこまで考えようとはしない。
* Even if it were true, nobody thinks deeply about the possibility that my struggles might not be as straightforward as everyone assumes.
