一番怖かったのは、新人のトウアンくんだった。彼はどんどん店を吸収していて、店の皆に似て来ていた。それは以前の店だったら、問題なかっただろうが、今の皆に似てくることで、トウアンくんがどんどん「店員」とはほど違い生き物に成長していきようだった。
あんなに真面目だったトウアンくんがフランクを作るを休めて、「古倉さんのオット、前にこの店にいたんですか？」と言った。
語尾を押すバス喋り方は泉さんのものが移りつつあるのかもしれない。私はトウアンくんに早口で言った。
「夫じゃないですよ。それより、今日は、暑いから冷たい飲み物が売れる日なんです。ペットボトルのミネラルウォーターが売れて少しなくなったらすぐ補充してください、段ボールででをウォークインの中にたくさん冷やしてありますから。ピークのお茶もよく売れるんで、売り場を常にきを付けてみてあげてくださいね。

Noise began to mix with the sound of the store. Although we had all been playing the same music together, suddenly everyone seemed to take out cacophonous instruments from their pockets and started playing. It was an unpleasant discordant noise.

The scariest one was the new guy, Touan-kun. He was gradually assimilating into the store, becoming more like everyone else. If it had been the old store, it might not have been a problem, but now that he was becoming more like the current staff, it seemed that Touan-kun was growing into something quite different from a mere "employee."

Touan-kun, who had been so diligent, took a break from making franks and said, "Furukura-san, was your husband here at this store before?"

The way he emphasized the end of his sentences may have been starting to resemble Tsunami-san's way of speaking. I quickly said to Touan-kun, "No, he's not my husband. Anyway, today is hot, so cold drinks will sell well. Please replenish the bottled mineral water as soon as it runs low, there are plenty of cartons of it chilling in the walk-in cooler. When the store hits its peak business, tea also sells well, so keep an eye on the display."
