今まで知らなかったが、どうやら皆、たまに飲み会をしているようで、子持ちの泉さんも夫が世話をしてくれる日は顔を出したりしているようだった。
「いやあ、古倉さんとも、一度飲みたいと思ってたんだよ！」
皆、白羽さんを飲み会に引き摺り出そうとしていて、彼を叱ろうと、その機会を持ち構えているのだった。
こんなに皆から叱ろうとされたら、白羽さんが「隠れたい」と思う気持ちもわかる気がした。
白羽さんが辞めた時に処分するべき白羽さんの履歴書まで店長はもち出して、泉さんと「見て見てここ、大学を中退して専門学校に行って、そっちもすぐにやめてる」「資格って、今時英検だけですか？え、免許もないってことなんですかね？」などと白羽さんを品評していた。
皆、嬉々として白羽さんを叱ろうとしていた。それがおにぎり１００円均一セール、チーズフランクフルトの新発売や、お惣菜が全部割引きになるクーポンをお配り（１２７）することより大切な伏線事項だと言わんばかりだった。

皆、白羽さんを飲み会に引き摺り出そうとしていて、彼を叱ろうと、その機会を持ち構えているのだった。
Everyone is trying to drag Shiraha-san to the drinking party and seize the opportunity to scold him.
こんなに皆から叱ろうとされたら、白羽さんが「隠れたい」と思う気持ちもわかる気がした。
When everyone is trying to scold him like this, I could understand why Shiraha-san might want to hide.

When Shiraha-san left, the store manager even brought out Shiraha-san's resume that should have been disposed of and, together with Izumi-san, they evaluated Shiraha-san, saying, "Look here, he dropped out of university and went to vocational school, but he quit there too," "As for qualifications, is he only certified in English? Does he not have a driver's license either?"

Everyone was eagerly looking forward to scolding Shiraha-san. It was as if this was a more important plot point than the 100-yen uniform rice ball sale, the new release of cheese frankfurters, or the coupon for discounts on all side dishes that they were distributing.
