「今日も茹でた野菜ですか？」
「ああ、そうです。今日はもやしと鶏肉とキャベツに火を通してます」
「そうですか」
白羽さんが俯いたまま言った。
「今日、帰り遅かったですね。もうお腹が空いてるんですけど」
「あがろうとしたら、店長と泉さんが話しかけてきて離してくれなかったです。
店長なんて休日出勤なのに、ずっと店にいて。白羽さんを飲み会に連れて来いってしつこく言われました」
「え。。。ひょっとして、僕のこと話ししたんですか？」
「ごめんなさい、口が滑ったんです。あ、これどうぞ。白羽さんの私物と給料明細受け取って来ました。」
「そうですか。」
白羽さんはタブレットを握りしめて黙り込んだ。
「隠してくれって言ったのに。。。言ってしまったんですね」
「ごめんなさい。悪気はなかったんです」
「いや。。。困るのは古倉さんですよ」

"Ah, yes. Today, I've cooked bean sprouts, chicken, and cabbage."
「そうですか」
"I see," Shiraha-san said, still looking down.
「今日、帰り遅かったですね。もうお腹が空いてるんですけど」
"You came home late today, didn't you? I'm already hungry."
「あがろうとしたら、店長と泉さんが話しかけてきて離してくれなかったです。店長なんて休日出勤なのに、ずっと店にいて。白羽さんを飲み会に連れて来いってしつこく言われました」
"When I tried to leave, the manager and Izumi-san approached me and wouldn’t let me go. Even though it's a day off for the manager, he's been at the store all day. He kept insisting that I bring you to a drinking party."
「え。。。ひょっとして、僕のこと話ししたんですか？」"Huh... They were talking about me?"
「ごめんなさい、口が滑ったんです。あ、これどうぞ。白羽さんの私物と給料明細受け取って来ました。」"I'm sorry, it slipped out. Oh, here you go. I've brought your personal belongings and your paystub."
「そうですか。」"Is that so?" Shiraha-san held the tablet tightly and fell silent.
「隠してくれって言ったのに。。。言ってしまったんですね」"I wanted you to keep it a secret... but you mentioned it."
「ごめんなさい。悪気はなかったんです」"I'm sorry. I didn't mean any harm."
「いや。。。困るのは古倉さんですよ」"No... but I annoyed by it."
