私はファーストフードのショーケースの方へ走り、沢口さんが２時間も残業して作ってくれた、「大人気！ジューシーで美味しいからあげ棒、なんと今だけ１１０円！」というPOPを飾り始めた。
脚立に乗って、天井から、段ボールと色画用紙で作った立体のからあげ棒の看板をぶら下げる。沢口さんが、「今度こそ１００本達成しましょう！」と言って作ってくれた素晴らしい看板だ。
店員でいる間、私たちは一つの目標に力を合わせて向かっていく同志だったのに。泉さんも店長も、どうしてしまったのだろう。
店に客が入ってきて、私は呼んだ。
「いらっしゃいませ、こんにちは～！本日よりからあげ棒が１１０円です！!いいかがですかー！」
出来立てのからあげ棒を並べていトウアンくんも、「からあげ棒、いかがデス力！」と声を振り上げてくれた。
店長と泉さんは、まだバックルームから出て来ない。微かに、泉さんの笑い声が（１２１）聞こえた気がした。

I rushed toward the showcase in the direction of the fast food and began decorating it with a hand made POP sign that Sawaguchi-san had worked overtime to make. It said, "Super Popular! Juicy and Delicious Chicken Skewers, Only 110 yen for a Limited Time!"

I climbed on a stepladder and hung a three-dimensional sign of chicken skewers from the ceiling, which was made from cardboard and colored paper. It was a fantastic sign that Sawaguchi-san had made, saying, "Let's achieve 100 sales this time!"

While working as store employees, we were comrades working together toward a common goal. At the same time I was thinking what happened to both Izumi-san and the manager.
店に客が入ってきて、私は呼んだ。「いらっしゃいませ、こんにちは～！本日よりからあげ棒が１１０円です！!いいかがですかー！」
Customers entered the store, and I blurted out, "Welcome! Hello! Starting today, our chicken skewers are only 110 yen! Would you like some?"
出来立てのからあげ棒を並べているトウアンくんも、「からあげ棒、いかがデス力！」と声を振り上げてくれた。
Toan-kun, who was arranging the freshly made chicken skewers, also raised his voice and said, "How about some chicken skewers? They're delicious!"
店長と泉さんは、まだバックルームから出て来ない。微かに、泉さんの笑い声が（１２１）聞こえた気がした。
The manager and Ms. Izumi still hadn't come out of the backroom. I faintly felt like I could hear Izumi-san’s laughter.
