意外そうに店長が言い、しまったな、と思いながらも頷いた。
俺と面識のない人にならいくら話してもいいけれど、コンビニは僕の存在を漏らさないで欲しい。僕は知る全ての人から僕を隠してほしい。僕は誰にも迷惑をかけていないのに、皆が平然と僕の人生に干渉してくれ。僕はただ静かに息をしていたいだけなんだ。白羽さんが独り言のように言っていたのを思いだしていると、カメラの中から自動ドアのチャイムの音が聞こえた。
防犯カメラの映像に目をやると、集団の男性客が入ってきたのに気が付く。一気に店の中が賑わい、私はレジにいるのが先週から入った新人のトウアンくんだけなのを見て、急いで時に行こうとした。
「なになに、逃げることないじゃん！」
店長が楽しそうに叫び、私は防犯カメラの映像を指差して「レジが混んできてます！」と言ってレジへと走った。
レジに着いた頃には３人ほど客が並んでいて、トウアンくんが戸惑った表情でレジを操作していた。
「あの、これ。。。」
意外そうに店長が言い、しまったな、と思いながらも頷いた。
The manager said surprisingly, and I thought, "Oops," while nodding.

I'm okay with talking to people I don't know, but I want the convenience store to keep my presence a secret. I want to hide myself from everyone I know. Even though I'm not causing trouble for anyone, everyone interferes in my life so casually. I just want to quietly breathe.
白羽さんが独り言のように言っていたのを思いだしていると、カメラの中から自動ドアのチャイムの音が聞こえた。
As I recalled what Shiraha-san had said in one of his monologues, I heard the sound of the automatic door chime from the camera.

When I looked at the security camera screen, I noticed a group of male customers entering. The store suddenly became crowded, and I saw that the only one at the register was the new employee, Toan-kun, who started last week, so I hurriedly headed to help.
「なになに、逃げることないじゃん！」
"What's going on? There's no need to run!"
店長が楽しそうに叫び、私は防犯カメラの映像を指差して「レジが混んできてます！」と言ってレジへと走った。
The manager shouted happily, and I pointed at the security camera footage and said, "The register is getting busy!" as I hurried to the register.
レジに着いた頃には３人ほど客が並んでいて、トウアンくんが戸惑った表情でレジを操作していた。
By the time I reached the register, there were about three customers in line, and Toan-kun was operating the register with a bewildered expression.
「あの、これ。。。」
"Um, this..."
