The WSJM Sports Player of the Week is Jakob Diamond of St. Joseph boys basketball. St. Joe went 2-0 during the week with the Bears coming back from a 12 point deficit to beat Gull Lake 54-53, and then the Bears beat Mattawan 66-61. Jakob had 11 points in the win over Gull Lake and 20 points in the win at Mattawan. He's also a member of the St. Joseph High School Orchestra and has a 3.963 GPA. Pot Roast is back with us now and he is an absolute favorite of our stronger dog walkers. He LOVES his walks, never jumps on people, and has happily lived with older kids. Pot Roast is starting to show some signs of kennel stress by running in circles and wanting more attention than our staff can give him. He understands basic commands such as sit, shake, and paw, and is food motivated. We think he'll be a very willing learner.
