John's guest this week is Rabbi Mischa Kapustin. He is now the Chief Rabbi of Slovakia, a nation which was once a part of Czechoslovakia during the 20th Century. The Rabbi was the son of a Russian naval officer during the days of the Soviet Union, But he found his way to Crimea in the Ukraine. Paige Lies of Lakeshore High School Girls Basketball is our WSJM Sports Player of the Week. Lakeshore won all three of their games over the holiday break with wins over Berrien Springs, Mattawan and Niles. Paige scored in double figures in each of those games, But she had 6 steals against Berrien Springs, 5 against Mattawan and 4 vs. Niles. During the Niles game she moved into 2nd place all time on the Lakeshore career list for steals. Paige is a junior at Lakeshore and also plays soccer and runs track.
