Our first WSJM Sports player of the week for the 2024 season is Landon Rogers of River Valley High School Cross Country. Landon is just starting his junior year at River Valley. So far, Landon came in 5th place at the Berrien Springs Shamrock Invitational with a time of 16:49.3. Then five days later Landon took first place at the Fennville Invitational with a time of 17:02.6. Landon came in 3rd place last year but this year he won by 36 seconds. Landon has multiple conference, state and academic all state awards over his first two seasons. He’s also a member of the Mustangs basketball team. In the classroom he carries a 3.8 GPA.
