Jamz Supernova is one of the UK’s most respected DJs and broadcasters. Best known for her shows on BBC Radio 1Xtra and BBC 6 Music, she's built a reputation as a champion of forward-thinking sounds, spanning R&B, future soul, club music, and the global underground.

Beyond her broadcasting career, Jamz is also the founder of Future Bounce, the label and club brand that has become a platform for innovative new talent. From curating radio shows and festival stages to running her own imprint, she has established herself as a key voice shaping the conversation around contemporary music in the UK and beyond.

We discuss her experiences in broadcasting, the various ways people find their way in music careers, and what it's like being a judge on the Mercury Music Prize.
