He talks about their acquisition of the 41-unit Landon Square and Briskwood Apartment in Roanoke, Virginia earlier this year. He shares how his partner found it in late 2022, met less competition than any deal they are working on, and settled at $3.25 million. Mac discusses the experience of getting through Thanksgiving and the Christmas season just to close this deal, raising about $2 million of equity. He also explains the structure of senior debt and the right way to deal with tenants not matching up with their leases.
