They are both veterans of the Iron Butt rallies and long distance riding, but that wasn't hard enough. They wanted the ultimate long distance riding challenge; visiting all of the United States in alphabetical order. Think about that. Here's just the first 5 in order: Alabama, Alaska, Arizona, Arkansas, California. And because Ian was on a tourist visa from Australia, they would only have a few months to complete it. With months of planning and preparation, what could go wrong? How about emergency surgery, hitting a kangaroo whilst on the first half of the trip in Australia, cracking a frame in half and lightning storms to name a few. They share their stories and tricks to keeping their older bikes running like tops, and how they managed to not give up.
