Show Notes
This week on our motorcycle podcast we talk with AMA Hall of Fame racer Wes Cooley. Wes got an early start in racing, and was there for the early days of the AMA Superbike racing series. He raced for Pops Yoshimura, first on a Kawasaki, but then moving to the Suzuki GS1000S that won him the championship in '79 and '80. He had a 15 year career, racing against legends like Freddie Spencer, Kevin Lawson, Reg Pridmore and more. But it was a crash in '85 that ultimately ended his career. He shares stories from his illustrious career, and kept us mesmerized the whole time. He is a legend himself, and possibly the nicest person we've ever interviewed.
With Liza, Bagel, Nak, Naked Jim and Miss Emma.
