Woody92 is a multidisciplinary artist and sculptor of a unique sonic realm; exploring psychoactive strains of dwelling textures, push forward shamanism, deep lysergic and deconstructed blending of techno. 2024 has seen Woody playing one of the final sets at the legendary De School closing party, debuting at Berghain with his own Omen Wapta label night, a standout performance at Organik festival and a debut at the hallowed Paral-lel festival later this year. MNMT 420 contains music forthcoming on his Omen Wapta label, unreleased projects from friends and collaborative pieces made with younger brother Floid. Pianeti Sintetici ('synthetic planets' in Italian) is a new conceptual project by Davide Perrone (Primal Code) that draws inspiration from the factories of Magrathea, a planet in Douglas Adams' classic space opera The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, where artificial planets are manufactured on commission. “This concept has always fascinated me, and I chose the name to frame a hypothetical future of synthetic worlds, told with sound,' Davide says. 'I like to imagine the howls of creatures inhabiting solar systems outside our own. Rarefied atmospheres, alien sequences, and unfamiliar tonal scales. So, I see Pianeti Sintetici as an open-ended design research project where I can explore these inspirations.” Pianeti Sintetici already has three stand out releases on the legendary Hypnus records and has played a string of mind bending shows, including this mix, which is a live set from the 2023 edition of Positive Education. With two major milestones upon us today, we're fortunate enough to be celebrating with one of the finest in electronic music. A new year is upon us and today we also reach a major podcast milestone, to celebrate we welcome none other than contemporary techno legend, DJ Nobu for MNMT 400. With decades of experience and as founder of both acclaimed party ‘Future Terror’ and record label ‘Bitta’, DJ Nobu has slowly but surely turned from being one of Japan's finest, to one of the world’s most in demand selectors. A great friend of Monument who delivered an incredible closing set at our first ever Monument City Festival in 2023, we couldn’t be happier to be marking the occasion with him. For this very special mix Nobu presents a stunning introspective excursion through electronica and deeper shades to celebrate the two milestones. Infinite thanks and gratitude to everyone who has made this journey over the last 12 years possible; from all the incredible artists we've been lucky enough to showcase to you, our beloved listeners. Stay tuned in 2024 🖤 Follow https://soundcloud.com/djnobu_bitta https://www.instagram.com/dj_nobu_ft/ https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100044539925039
