The societal script for most of us is to exchange at least 40 hours of labour per week from early adulthood to an ever-increasing retirement age. In return we're supposed to get slightly better conditions than those before us. This is starting to look broken though (for many years now) but it may come to a head in 2023. In this episode I dive into what financial independence means to me and why it's important in our current times.
