From 2010-2012 I was high school student who fell in love with chemistry and that passion dictated the next 9 years of my learning and where I thought my career would go. Come the end of 2019 I had graduated with a Bachelors in Engineering (Industrial Chemistry / Chemical Process Engineering) and Bachelors in Science (Chemistry & Pharmacology) and realised that I didn't want to go into what I had studied to become. So began my journey into the world of technology which has resulted in my current profession as a software engineer (SWE) or software developer. In a changing world where we are destined for many careers due to our own interests and a transitioning economy here's one story of a career change.
