I started out adult life setting big goals and then... (crickets)... nothing. In the last 3 years I've accelerated my growth in personal and professional development and this has stemmed from setting better goals. Goals which are too easy will cause you to get bored. Goals which are too hard will cause you too give up. The ideal goal should be just outside your reach where you can get a dopamine hit with a reasonable amount of effort applied.
