On December 29, 1991, a routine night-deposit escort at Andersen Air Force Base in Guam turned into a deadly ambush. Cash clerk Peregrina Armour and Security Policeman Sergeant Stacy Levay were attacked outside the base bank by a group of masked men—one armed with a rifle, another with a lead pipe. Within minutes, one airman was fighting for his life… and another lay mortally wounded on his 29th birthday.
