GET ON UP!! We've seen The Blues Brothers bit on a whole bunch of shows- singing and stuff on SNL, at Universal Studios, etc... but we never really laughed. Was it supposed to be funny? What IS the deal with the Blues Brothers, anyway? Let's finally investigate this and watch THE BLUES BROTHERS movie from 1980!

This week call us Mr. Blue and Mr. Green because today we are talking about Quentin Taratino's first movie Reservoir Dogs. Is this the perfect film to watch in High School/College? Or does watching it for the first time now still leave an imprint on you. Let find out!

Oscar season is in its FINAL WEEK! We are mellowing out a bit to check out Past Lives, a quiet little movie from a first time director that certainly made a great first impression! Did this blow us away or leave us feeling like we wanted to leave our "Life" in the "Past?" (These descriptions can't all be winners.)

Oscar season continues as Rocco & Shawn are forced into a SECONDARY recording setup while preparations continue for Mega64 Olympic Board Games (which happened four days ago). We watch The Holdover, a movie we're told is a "holiday classic," which we're not sure about... featuring a lazy eye we may have heard TOO much about. What did the duo think of this Paul Giamatti holiday doorbuster?

You can't go wrong with Jimmy Stewart. Can you? Find out as Rocco and Shawn watch this 1948 flick full of genuine surprises!

The unthinkable has happened! Shawn somehow convinced Rocco to watch the new WONKA. After swearing off all forms of future Wonkas after the dreadful Tim Burton remake poisoned Rocco's soul, he cautiously agreed to see the film... and the discussion is simply delicious!

He's too old for this sh** - but are we?? Rocco saw the new Indiana Jones in theaters over the summer, but Shawn never saw it. Can these two former Indy-heads meet in the middle to determine if this is a good final chapter or not?

We didn't kill our wife, but we DID watch a fun 90's movie! It's the beginning of Harrison Ford Month at Mega64 HQ as we run full speed down the pipeline towards the 90's blockbuster thriller The Fugitive. Were we innocent or guilty of enjoying it?

Look, we know Christmas is over, but we're still on holiday break so don't ruin this for us. Anyway, for the first time ever on Mega64 Movie Club, we watch REAL cinema: a straight to DVD Bam Margera feature that you can find freely on YouTube!

Years ago, the whole Mega64 crew got together to watch the 4th Matrix movie, but broke for the holidays before they could ever review it together on a podcast. Two years later, we make good on our silent treatment and FINALLY deliver our reviews to our loyal patrons. I wonder what Rocco and Shawn thought of it???? Any guesses????

On tour, we watched a TON of movies- and just by chance, out of a bargain bin we picked one of Garrett's all time favorite movies! Join him as he sits down with Rocco and Shawn (who had never seen the movie before at all) to gather all their thoughts about this movie we totally didn't know had vampires in it.

Having just visited Alcatraz ourselves, we HAD to see how one would escape it. The easiest way was to watch ESCAPE FROM ALCATRAZ with Clint Eastwood, based on the true story of a real escape! Was it a trip seeing this 1979 prison flick shot at the very historical location we just explored? Or should this movie go back to the slammer?

Here's Rocco, Shawn, and Garrett digging into Killers of The Flower Moon, which they all saw together on tour. Did we erupt with moans of pleasure OR pain during this lengthy journey to a taboo point in history?

Through a sequence of events, some random dude just becomes president. Does this movie premise produce White House level gold or Waffle House level crap? Rocco and Shawn finally return from tour with a long overdue Movie Club episode where they both watch it- both from the perspective of a newcomer AND someone affected by it at an early age. What will they think now?

We go back to the source of many cinematic scares- the old Universal monster movies! And we check out the Bride of Frankenstein... right? She's in this movie, isn't she? Eventually?

Isn't it fun to be a vampire? We find out today in our Lost Boys episode of Movie Club- once again joined by two people who've never seen it (Rocco and Shawn) and a trained master on the subject (Garrett). Is this a tour of gore and horror, or just a funny 80s movie?

We were finally compelled by the power of cinema to sit down and see THE EXORCIST from 1973. For two of us, it's our first time seeing it- luckily we've got long time exorcism film expert Garrett to join us for this episode! Grab some pea soup and sit a spell for this special lengthy discussion on the Exorcist legacy.

After getting to briefly work with Matt Johnson for a special 64X segment, we couldn't help but be stoked to check out his latest feature film, Blackberry! We missed it in its limited theatrical release, but now that it's on VOD we kicked back to finally see what we think of this handheld device biopic.

Like the fastest man himself, The Flash was in and out of theaters in an instant. But now it's streaming... should we watch it and see if it was as bad as everyone said? You may be surprised at our hot take that defies the laws of time and space!

Rocco and Shawn sat down and watched the 1991 "Classic?" movie Doc Hollywood. Is this Michael J Fox's best movie? Probably not but lets watch together and find out.

The day has finally arrived! Rocco got Shawn to watch the classic Korean film OLDBOY and we get to hear what he thought of it! This oughtta be FUN! Believe it or not, both these guys hadn't ever seen it until this last month. Let's see what they both got out of it after missing out for 20 years!

We finally watched Wes Anderson's new movie and have no clue what to say about it.

The big storm (or lack thereof) last week knocked our schedule off its axis a bit, but we're back in the studio to double up on new Movie Club episodes! This time we're watching Kevin Smith's first big studio movie, Mallrats! It was a huge bomb when it came out, but us here at Mega64 loved it back in the day. We haven't watched it in a long time though- is it still funny or is it as dead as our local mall?

WTF is Logan Lucky? Shawn and Rocco have no idea- a heist movie directed by Steven Soderbergh... that ISN'T Oceans 11? However, its writer is someone we have a connection to from our pre-teen years... Let's check out this random 2017 flick with a surprisingly awesome cast! Had YOU seen it before?

Get your ass to this episode of Movie Club! LOL get it??? Shawn just saw Total Recall (the 1990 movie with Arnold in it) recently, and Rocco just saw it for the second time at Quentin Tarantino's movie theater. What do they both have to say about this practical effects blowout of a film? And did Rocco also watch the Total Recall remake from 2012 JUST for this episode?? (Spoiler: yes)

Shawn is new to Ghostbusters, having only seen the first movie recently... but he hasn't seen the second one! Rocco was a huge Ghostbusters fan, and saw the second one a million times growing up... but hasn't seen it in a while. Where did they both arrive on this polarizing sequel to a paranormal classic?

From our AX booth, we present to you our conversation on the M Night Shayamalan film SIGNS... some people love it, but a lot of people felt burned by it back in its first release. Was the hate warranted, or did we have fun with it over 20 years later? (Also it was a long AX weekend so we were losing our minds- please bear with us as we try to make ANY sense. Also we got new microphones that might sound a little weird, like panning audio and stuff... we'll get it fixed for next time!)

This week for the first time is our good friend Garrett! He brought in one of his all time favorite movies, TRAINSPOTTING. Is this totally a Garrett flick, or did we all find something to enjoy in this Scottish drug overdose opera?

THE KEVIN COSTNER SAGA CONTINUES... Sean Connery? Prohibition? The Scarface director? Bangin' music score? What's NOT to love in THE UNTOUCHABLES? We both watched this movie for the first time and went all-in on our thoughts on this 80's gangster flick.

The polar ice caps are melting! Oceans rising! The world destroyed! YES! All great news, because that means Rocco and Shawn are talking about the expensive disaster called WATERWORLD. Sure it was an expensive flop, but does that mean they didn't love watching it?

Somewhere out there, there has to be something better than man... but you won't find a better discussion on 1968's Planet of The Apes than THIS! (Well, we didn't really look. We're just assuming.) This has been known for decades as a sci-fi classic, and we're eager to get down to monkey business (GET IT?) and give it a rewatch!

Did this "Scary Perry" guy really get cast in a huge blockbuster movie? We're still not sure what's real and what isn't, but we know we had a hell of a time with this cult classic TV movie "Windy City Heat" from 2003. Had you seen it or even heard of it? This has always had a spot on our shelf (since we could actually find a copy of the DVD), and we talk a little bit about what we love about it.

This episode of Movie Club may not last as long as Tom Hanks' first piss in the women's locker room, but it's just as entertaining!* (*Almost) We watched A League Of Their Own from 1992 - which of us saw it then and barely remember? And which of us never saw it at all? And... wait for it... is it a HOME RUN or a FOUL BALL? GET IT???

Yes, a common reaction to seeing anything for the very first time (ever). But look past the image and see it for what it really is- a new, reflective, introspective episode of Movie Club where we watch The Whale and peel back what we think is really going on with its characters.

Hey, have you guys played Metal Gear? Cool, then you've pretty much already seen ESCAPE FROM NEW YORK, where every video game idea was lifted from. But is there more to it than that? Watch as we dive into another John Carpenter movie we hadn't seen yet and see what it's all about!

Kill the soundtrack and remove all men from the premises (at least, their physical presence). It's time to PAINT. Let's sketch up a Portrait of a Lady On Fire and see what everyone thought of it.

What is this movie? The next film by acclaimed director Damien Chazelle? A gigantic box office bomb? An undiscovered epic? A three hour slog? Does ANYONE know? We don't know anyone that saw Babylon, so we're gonna dive in ourselves in a VERY divided episode! Unlike the movies within the movie, we're not staying silent on this one.

"ALRIGHTY THEN!" - Guess the movie :) So yeah, we've all heard the quotes and impressions (at least we did on the playground decades ago), but how much do we care about Ace Ventura now? We all watched it again (some of us for the first time) to see if there's something still there in the ol' birdcage or doghouse or whatever.
