We also discussed the bear pups, the fears of losing them to distemper, the jinx of talking about them according to Wes and Travis. Unfortunately we did have to discuss losing another one of Orbit's pups to distemper and the pain that goes along with that. We know at some point we will get through it all but as you can imagine it is painful. No worries the conversation isn't all dark, there is always humor and this podcast has humor too.

It truly is a very complicated thing to catch a lost dog. So many variables come into play, the dogs behavior, the location, how long its been lost, etc etc..We discuss a few stories of us catching dogs that were lost and hopefully it will give you some insight into the topic. Georgia is a common topic as a "helper" in catching a dog, dogs can be used as a tool to help and Georgia has always been one of the best.

Let's talk about pet stores and selling puppies. Jessica spoke at a city council meeting here locally to highlight the horrors of life for the parents of dogs sold in pet stores which come from puppy mills. We discuss how this works for the mill owner, brokers, and the pet store and talk about a dog we rescued (Tribble) from a pet store and the conditions he was dealing with.

This week Travis and Renee sit down to discuss aggressive behavior in dogs. There isn't a one size fits all to this description and dogs display behavior for different reasons and with different intents. Travis and Renee break down what this looks like and what to do with a few examples from their own lives.
