What is Graphic Design? Graphic design is all around us. Everything that we see started out as a creative idea. The role of a graphic designer is to visually communicate a message and tell a story. Why is it important? Graphic design simply helps society function visually. If we didn’t have road signs, we wouldn’t know how to get anywhere.
