Galatians #12 - 4 Ways to Cultivate Spirit-Filled Community
Galatians #12 - 4 Ways to Cultivate Spirit-Filled Community by Mark Driscoll Ministries

The Father Wound
Many of the issues in today’s society boils down to a projection or a rejection of a person’s earthly father (or lack thereof). With the coming of Jesus, He altered human history and opened a new, unprecedented, unparalleled understanding of God as Father. When you know who you are in relation to God as Father, it changes you entire life and everything that you do.

Galatians #11 - The Flesh vs The Spirit
Do you find yourself leaning more towards the rebellious or religious? What if there was a third way…following the redeeming Son, Jesus. When you follow Jesus, your desires become new and change from the works of the flesh to the fruit of the Spirit.

Galatians #10 - Religion and Rebellion vs Relationship
Just like a car that is out of alignment that pulls to the left or the right, so too our lives get out of alignment veering toward rebellion or religion. In this very practical section of Scripture, you will learn that both are bad, but that God has good news for a brand new way of life for you!

Galatians #8 - Law-Based vs. Grace-Based Relationships
There are basically two kinds of relationships Christians have. One is law-based. Someone has fears that compel them to control other people and circumstances through making demands. The other is grace-based. The two people trust the Holy Spirit to work in and through each of them, focus on their unity around Jesus Christ, and give grace in secondary matters where they disagree.

Galatians #7 - God as Father vs. God as Master
When it comes to your relationship with God, do you see Him as a master or a Father and do you see yourself as a slave or a son? How you answer this question dictates how you view your earthly relationships, especially that with your earthly father. Whether you’ve had a good or a bad early dad, God wants us to see Him as kind father who wants a relationship with his kids.

Galatians #6 - There’s Jesus For YOU!
Are you tired of guilt-ridden burden-giving joy-sucking religion? If so, then you need Jesus! If Adam and Eve, Abraham and Sarah, and even Moses needed Jesus, we all need Jesus.

Galatians #5 - There’s Blessing for YOU!
Pretty much everyone wishes they could figure out how to get God’s blessing to rain down in their life. The Bible presents a shocking pattern of God’s blessing. A long time ago, there was a normal guy who did not know God just living his life. That man’s name was Abraham. God showed up in his life, spoke to him, and said He had a plan to bless Abraham and his family. Ever since, the debate has raged over who his family members are that inherit this blessing. The good news is, there is a way to join that family and enjoy that blessing by faith in Jesus Christ.

Galatians #4 - There’s Righteousness for YOU!
Do you ever feel like your spiritual life is a constantly discouraging reminder of all your faults, flaws, and failures? Are you sick of living for God? You should be. That’s not the Christian life. The Christian life is about Christ for you, in you, and through you! Learn to live from Jesus’ righteousness and learn to stop living for your righteousness.

Galatians #3 - There’s Freedom for YOU!
If you are a Christian, you are probably stuck in a prison of guilt, tradition, man-made rules, and burdens that you aren’t even aware of. This week, learn to walk in the freedom that comes by God’s grace through the Holy Spirit. It’s time to get those burdens lifted and beatdowns ended!

Galatians #2 - There's Grace For You!
Are you sick of all the negative news, religious rules, and social cause screaming conflicts? This world officially has enough bad news. God has good news for you to give you hope, help, and healing. In this sermon, God will speak to you about your life and His plan to replace human speculation with His revelation, human religion with His redemption, and transform your job into a calling so that your life story can be rewritten to be part of God’s good news story to the world.

Galatians #9 - God’s Good is Bigger than Your Bad
Like birds were made to live in the air, and fish were made to live in the water, people were made to live in grace. For Mother’s Day, we are looking at the story of two mothers – Hagar and Sarah – to learn the difference between families and church families that are law based versus grace based.

Galatians #1 - Jesus' Grace + Nothing = Salvation
Did you know that not only is God at work in your life right now....but so is Satan? Everything God creates for good, Satan counterfeits for your evil. In this sermon you will learn the key to total transformation - how Jesus works for you, in you, and through you! And, you will learn five questions for counterfeits to help you not settle for anything less than a real relationship with the real Jesus that really works.

Pray Like Jesus #3 - Pray For Non-Christians
What do you do when people you know are far from God but don’t want to hear you talk to them about God? Rather than talking to them about God, you can talk to God about them. Lift your burden and learn to pray for family, friends, and coworkers who don’t know the Lord and see what God does to answer those prayers.

Pray Like Jesus #2 - Pray For Christians
The fastest way to improve your relationship with people is to begin praying for them. Praying is a way of promoting loving and serving. Praying is a way of preventing gossiping and fighting. Improve your emotional and relational health by learning how to pray for other Christians from the pattern of Jesus’ longest prayer.

Pray Like Jesus #1 - Pray For Yourself
The best way to start this year is by talking to God about your plans and listening to hear what He has to say. Deepen your relationship with God by learning how to pray for yourself by studying the longest prayer that Jesus ever prayed.

Malachi #6 - Learn to Change Your Heart
Is your heart tender toward God, family, and friends? Forever is a long time, and God invites us to change our hearts today so that we can prepare for the perfect, healthy, and loving relationships we will enjoy in eternity. As we study God’s final words before four-hundred years of silence that preceded the coming of Jesus at the first Christmas, you can experience the Father heart of God and share it with family and friends to experience healed relationships.

Malachi #5 - Learn to Give
Are you a generous person with your words, works, and wealth? The key to a healthy relationship with God is to understand that He has generously given you His only Son as the greatest gift that could possibly be given. As you grow to appreciate that God is a generous giver, you will be freed up to be a more generous giver to God, family, and friends. Learning this lesson will improve all of your relationships and bring joy to your soul.

Malachi #4 - Learn to Persevere
When tough times come into your relationships, are you the kind of person who is more likely to hang in there or hang it up? In every relationship, there are times when we want to give in and give up. This is especially true with family members, including our spouse. But, when we learn to persevere through hard times with God, family, and friends, the long-term blessings outweigh the short-term burdens.

Malachi #3 - Learn to Listen
Do you consider yourself a good listener? One key to every healthy relationship is being a good listener. Sadly, sometimes believers don’t like what God is saying, so they choose to listen to a bad teacher who tells them what they want to hear rather than what God has said. As you grow to heed God’s Word and hear God’s voice you will be able to walk in the destiny that God has for you and your family.

Malachi #2 - Learn to Honor
Do you need to learn to honor God’s authority over all aspects of your life? Like every good parent, God is a Father who needs to be respected if you are to learn, grow, and mature. As you learn to honor God’s authority you then become healthy both in and under human authority. This makes you a better Christian, spouse, parent, child, employee, and leader so that your life is blessed by God and a blessing to others.

Malachi #1 - Learn to Love
Do you need to learn to be more loving? God is a Father and His heart is filled with love for you. Your relationship with God begins with His love for you. Understanding and experiencing this love allows you to become emotionally healthy and love God, family, and friends with the love that God gives you to share.
