Kev is once again joined by The Lutonian journalist James Cunliffe and Luton fan Dan Barratt-Davis to look ahead to a clash with the league leaders for the second time this season when this time Arsenal head to Kenilworth Road – on James’ birthday! The historical nature of this fixture isn’t lost on anyone and the boys reflect on the most memorable meeting of the two to date, back in 1988, before looking at some of the threats that will be posed by the Gunners on the night. The latest of our exclusive podcasts saw Kev invited to Luton Town's training ground to catch up with summer signing Jacob Brown for a chat ahead about his Hatters start. Fresh from their first victory in the Premier League at Everton on Saturday afternoon, Luton Town look to follow that up with another under the lights in front of their own fans when they host fellow promoted side Burnley at Kenilworth Road tonight. In this Burnley preview episode of the podcast, Kev is joined by James and Dan to take a look at the game in plenty of detail. The sixth match of the Premier League season sees the Hatters travelling to Goodison Park on Saturday for the first time since a League Cup tie in 2006. With the Town now off the mark for the campaign, Kev, James and Dan get together to discuss what feels like another big game with the Toffees one of those sides Luton are expected to be in a relegation mini-league with. The Town are off the mark! Luton Town earned their first-ever Premier League point with a 1-1 draw against Wolves at Kenilworth Road on Saturday afternoon. Listen in as Kev, James and Dan reflect on the performance and the result. Has there ever been a more glorious fan reaction to a Premier League defeat like we saw at Stamford Bridge? So, a Raheem Sterling-inspired Blues beat Luton 3-0 to ensure Town remain pointless after two top-flight games, but the real story is what happened after the game. More than 3,000 Luton supporters that packed into the west London stadium stayed in their seats until well after the final whistle to cheer and chant for their Hatters heroes, in a show of support and solidarity that will be alien to most Premier League fans. We've made it! We started covering Luton Town in the fourth tier of English football back in 2017/18 and now, as the longest-running Hatters podcast, we begin season 7 as the only one-club football show to have gone from League Two to the Premier League. On this episode we preview our first-ever season in the Premier League, talk transfers after a summer in which Town had signed, broken their transfer record three times and added eight new recruits (at the time of recording, but it's now nine) with Ross Barkley of ex Everton, Chelsea and England international fame added to the squad a few hours before we recorded. We discuss the new rules that will be brought in this season, including the introduction of World Cup time-keeping and players approaching referees. The boys got together ahead of the annual Luton Town Supporters' Presentation Evening on Wednesday May 3 to reflect on the last few weeks and look forward to a second successive Championship play-off campaign for the Hatters. Before the discussion turns to the remainder of the season, the lads reflect on the size of the achievement of Luton finishing third in the second tier, their best finish for 41 years. The guys then look ahead to the play-offs and what we can expect over the course of the two legged semi-final against Sunderland and what might be different this year to last. Kev and James then seek out a host of players throughout the Presentation Evening for some exclusive chats about their thoughts on the season so far and what lies ahead with dreams of the Premier League within their grasp.

Kev and James sat down to speak with former Hatters star Lars Elstrup during his first trip back to Luton since he left the club in 1991. The boys catch up with the former Denmark international at his hotel for a chat about his time at Luton, reminiscing on great escapes which involved those two famous late-season clashes against Derby County, as well as Euro 92 which Elstrup was a member of the winning Denmark squad. The conversation then moves towards life after football for the man who retired from the game just 30 years old. Lars details his mental health struggles post-retirement and how he has found happiness with himself and the world in the last 16 months, before the attention turns back to football and the present day. All this and plenty more in a compelling chat with a very interesting figure of the Luton past.

Kev caught up with on-loan superstar Marvelous Nakamba for an exclusive chat in the latest of our bonus podcasts. The episode begins with Kev finding out how Marvelous is enjoying life at Luton, reflecting on him recently winning the Diamond Player of the Month and how he has immediately become a favourite with fans and teammates alike. The conversation then turns to the Marvelous Nakamba Foundation and the incredible work he has done in his homeland of Zimbabwe before the chat returns to the football, as the Villa loanee gives his thoughts on Rob Edwards, the run in, promotion chances and plenty more!

In part 2 of the podcast, Tony concludes his look at the team that won at Man City in 1983 in our ‘Blast from the Past’ segment with a chat about the goalscoring hero that day Raddy Antic. The discussion then turns to the modern day where Kev asks the question whether Marvelous Nakamba is the best loan signing Luton have ever made. The lads give their thoughts and their alternatives to the Zimbabwe international. They then reflect on the matches prior to the derby which put Luton in such a good position in the table before switching their attention to two heroes from the win over the arch-enemy.

After the shambles of the first one, everyone has everything crossed that this one doesn’t go down that path again but with new managers in each dugout and new players on both teams, the chaps look at the game as a whole. Kev caught up with one of the stars of the season in Jordan Clark after training on Thursday. They chat about the new deal Clark signed earlier in the week as well as his transition from a winger to one of the best midfielders in the Championship. The chat then turns to how he is performing under Rob Edwards in particular and the interesting relationship between two former teammates. Jordan then gives his opinion on his pride at being named captain for the Wigan FA Cup replay and the season as a whole so far including the motivation the end of last season has given him. In part two of the March episode of the podcast Tony looks back on the influence of Paul Walsh in the 1982-83 season and that famous afternoon at Man City in our ‘Blast from the Past’ segment before the attention turns to the present as the lads touch on the white paper which was released recently. After the boys finish discussing how football can help itself the chat turns to the referees who have had a very poor month in Luton matches in particular. Things then turn to more positive things starting with the new deal for Jordan Clark before we look ahead to a big week to come on the pitch.
