Elisabeth Gerritzen is the defending Freeride World Tour champion, but she admits she has difficulty with that title. Eli talks about how she strives to be the best at what she does but always struggles to be satisfied with her own accomplishments and desires to learn to be kind to herself. She's filming her own project this winter with an all female crew in front of and behind the lens. She's still competing on the FWT and is studying for her Masters Degree in Law. Simon Shave and Clay Mitchell are CK9 Studios and are the hottest filmmakers in the biz right now. I'm talking specifically about movie making skills obviously. Originally called the Seadawgs, the duo grew up together as friends in Nelson, BC. After doing their own things for a while in their 20's, they reunited with the focus of ski films. The two "apprenticed" for Sherpas Cinemas before they eventually left the nest to make the now classic, "Over Time" for Sammy Carlson. That film not only won awards but garnered attention from big commercial clients like BMW. The dawgs are at it again, recently winning four F3 awards for their work with Tatum Monod's project, "Passage", and Sam Kuch's, "Here Goes".

Sam Kuch returns to the LPP freshly minted as the IF3 Male Standout Skier of the Year. He stopped by the Low Pressure Podcast Studios to talk about what's changed in his life in the 3 years since he was last on the show including winning awards, firefighting, learning to paraglide and touring the country with the MSP Stomping Grounds premiere tour.

It's been a year and a half since Nick's near fatal accident skiing pillows on a TGR shoot in March 2020. The one where he was buried and his transceiver failed. He talks about the fallout from bringing attention to the faulty device and Black Diamond's luke warm response to take accountability. He describes his experience of the nearly 6 minutes spent under the snow, the training he and his crew used to save his life as well as and the physical and mental effects that were the result.

Jordie Kidner is a pro skier living in Squamish BC. For the past few years he's been a part of the Blank Collective and has a big part of this year's excellent film, Tales From Cascadia. Taylor Lundquist has been raising the profile of women in street skiing for the last 5 years and shows no signs of slowing down. In the past year she won "Skier of the Year" at the inaugural NewSchoolers Awards, she was featured in the all female shred-fest "SKIVAS", and she will be the first female to compete in the 2021 Edition of XGames Real Ski. On top of that she is working to raise awareness of the LBGTQ community within action sports after publicly coming out in 2020.

Guillaume Tessier has been one of the principal cinematographers for MSP for the last 2 decades. In that time he has captured some of the most iconic lines and memorable segments in the history of ski films. He lives behind the scenes and behind the camera so we're excited to tell his story.

Mike Waesche is the Founder and CEO of RMU Skis (Rocky Mountain Underground). RMU started out when a Mike and a few friends wanted to try to make some skis in their garage. Based upon its core values, the company has evolved beyond skiing in ways that no other ski brand has. Mike shares the evolution story of RMU and why they continue to adapt and pioneer what's possible within skiing's market space.

Caite Zeliff is on her way to being one of the biggest stars in skiing. You'll find that this self professed goofball is a very well-rounded human with exceptional abilities on skis. She has a focus that, despite setbacks, will undoubtedly allow her to meet her goals.

Coline Ballet-Baz is about to release her new project, SKIVAS. It's one of, if not the best all female ski film to date. The movie highlights big mountain lines, fun pow skiing, a gnarly urban segment and everything in between. SKIVAS highlights a cast of athletes that will become much more well known because of it. Her idea for theme of the film is to get back to the roots of skiing. Being with with friends and creating a fun atmosphere together really is the best part of why we all do it. Magnus Graner joins the LPP and tells us that the members of The Bunch met in Space School and how they came to develop their identity. He explains that they are changing the formula for making ski movies as well as their approach to skiing and business with a focus on environmental sustainability.
