Lawrie Sanchez
When it comes to this podcast it really doesn't matter when it comes to the amount of time serving Swindon Town or the appearances made and goals scored. I am interested in entire careers and that's exactly what we get in this episode of #LSPOD. Lawrie Sanchez started with our old friends Reading before he moved to Wimbledon and became a household name thanks to his winning goal for the Dons against Liverpool in the 1988 F.A. Cup Final. He joined Town in 1994 and made his debut in the 2-2 draw against Manchester United. Lawrie made seven more appearances for Town in the Premier League before starting his coaching career. We talk about it all! My thanks to Lawrie for agreeing to take part! This episode is sponsored by the STFC Official Supporters Club. SUH-WIN-DON! Hosted on Acast. He was managed by John Trollope, Lou Macari, Ossie Ardiles, Glenn Hoddle, John Gorman and Steve McMahon. He saw it all and is wonderfully thorough. We also discuss his post-Swindon career and very successful time as a respected coach. This is a comprehensive take on an eventful period in Swindon Town's history and I cannot thank Adi enough for his time. This episode is sponsored by the STFC Official Supporters Club. SUH-WIN-DON!
