S4 Ep 948Five Tactics To Beat Inflation - EP 948
Join me for a show on tactics for beating inflation that anyone can work on. This goes beyond "stop buying froo froo coffee" and delves into five places to focus your attention as we navigate quickening technological advances, a transitioning economy, and, well, friggin high prices at the grocery store that are outpacing income increases. Featured Event: Oct 3 Fight Hacker, Escapeology with Sonny Puzikas in Camden, TN Sponsor 1: EMPShield.com, Coupon Code LFTN Sponsor 2: TheWealthSteadingPodcast.com Livestream Schedule Tuesday 9:30am: Tuesday Coffee with CJ Killmer and Shawn Mills Friday 9:30am: Homestead Happenings with the Tactical Redneck Sunday 6pm: Shoot the Breeze with Toolman Tim Cook and Spags Tales from the Prepper Pantry Freezer Audit Complete Livestreams of weird things: beef heart Collecting much more herbal tea items to dry Final round of tomato canning up this week to free up freezer space Canned good reorganization Prepper Pantry Redo Update Weekly Shopping Report Home Depot. The online price of a 2x4x8 there remains $3.65. Along with the new type, Aldi had some of their canned cat food back in stock, so we got two cases. We found everything else we wanted, but noted they were out of watermelon (not on our list this week). Staple prices were: bread (20 oz. white): $1.39; eggs: $3.77 (++); whole milk: $2.92 (+); heavy cream: $5.39; OJ: $3.45; butter: $3.99; bacon: $3.99; potatoes: $4.59; sugar: $2.99; flour: $2.35; and 80% lean ground beef: $4.39 (+). A gallon of untainted regular gasoline remains at $3.599. Frugality Tip from Margo Hey y'all. After talking to someone recently I realized there are probably some things that are second nature to some, but unfamiliar to others. This week's frugality tip is using media mail with the post office. If you are mailing books, movies, music, or educational material you can send them via media mail. Maximum weight is 70 lbs and it is $4.13 (at time of writing) for any size package. But don't put anything else in the package, they can and will, randomly open media mail packages because some people have tried to skirt the system and mail other things. So send a book to someone and save a few bucks by sending it media mail. Happy savings y'all. Operation Independence That single beef heart yielding 7 meals was pretty slick - especially considering that people all but THROW hearts, livers and tongues at me. Main topic of the Show: Five Tactics To Beat Inflation Long Term View on Necessary Purchases: Quality - repairable freezer without a computer was $200 more than a good-name freezer. Prioritize health whatever that means for you. If you are not getting nutrition, exercise, sleep, health maintenance like regular dental attention, mental health – it is harder to tap into new ways to beat inflation. Exercise is free. Making time for exercise is in your control even when you are slammed. Excises do not serve you. Nutrition Reduced Bills, whatever that means for you and your family, when done right will push down the hunger and the bills. Yes. Plenty of people point out that chips are cheaper than vegetables and meats. But in the aggregate ARE THEY? When you cut out the refined sugars, the processed foods and transition to whole foods (yes even if that includes Nicoles nemesis CARBS), the overall grocery bill goes down. At first you may eat more, but your body adjusts. And if you must bake a thing to have a treat, I dont know about you, but it slows me down. Especially since I dont even keep the supplies on hand for something like a cookie. Learn herbal remedies. Dr's and herbalists OH MY. Create access to care for you and your family whether that be insurance, direct care, relationships with herbalists, taking that on at home, etc. Do what you can. Good mental health = resilience. S4 Ep 945What Do You Say? - Ep 945
Today we talk about the late summer pantry, some listener feedback, the shopping report, and what to do or say when someone you know is going through grief. Featured Event: Saturday Open House at Strong Roots Resources, https://www.livingfreeintennessee.com/event/fall-gathering-and-open-house/ Sponsor 1: EmpShield.com, Coupon Code LFTN Sponsor 2: TheWealthsteadingPodcast.com Listener Feedback From William Listening to your winter is coming show and you mentioned storing feed. incase you or your audience didn't know the 31 gallon galvanized metal garbage cans hold (3) 50lb. bags of pelleted feed, like chicken or goat. As long as the lid stays closed they are rodent resistant but they are not waterproof around the lid handle so don't store them outside. Also when refilling pull the old feed that's left at the bottom out and add it back on top of the new stuff to rotate feed properly. Livestream Schedule Tuesday, 9:30amCT, First Tuesday Coffee Chat With John and Jack Thursday, 10amCT, Own Your Data with Hakeem from Above Phone Friday, 9:30amCT, Homestead Happenings with the Tactical Redneck Tales from the Prepper Pantry Tactical collected more herbs for drying Basil Processing Still trying to repair my Harvest Right Freeze Dryer Tomatopalooza in process Pre-emergency Flight Food Prep Weekly Shopping Report from Joe 2x4x8 at Home Depot, and it is still $3.65. Aldi: There was still only one rack with eggs in Aldi, but there were more milk products this week, including some half-gallons, and there was also some of the 1% stuff. We found most of what we wanted, EXCEPT my preferred lunch meat, and canned cat food; fortunately we have some extra. Staple prices were: bread (20 oz. white): $1.39 (+); eggs: $2.42; whole milk: $2.89; heavy cream: $5.39; OJ: $3.45; butter: $3.79; bacon: $3.99; potatoes: $4.59 (+); sugar: $2.99; flour: $2.35; and 80% lean ground beef: $3.79. A gallon of untainted regular gasoline remains at $3.599. Frugality Tip from Margo I wanted a chalk board to have a visible list for #mythreethings as well as 20 min tasks. I found a magnetic dry erase board at a yard sale for $1. I painted it with two coats of chalkboard paint and glued a magnet to a chalk pen. The dollar tree has chalkboard paint, chalk pens, and a magic eraser type sponge that is the best to clean off painted chalkboards. And you can paint any surface with chalkboard paint. If it's bare plywood I recommend putting a coat of any old paint you have laying around first and then two coats of chalkboard paint. After a year or so chalkboard painted surfaces start to get a little dingy. So I paint over again. So for less than $5 it is possible to have a fantastic little chalkboard. Happy saving y'all. ~Margo Operation Independence Relationships matter and because we know a concrete person, we are able to pour the pad sooner and for much less than contracting out - but it means work. While we are doing this, we are learning a skill to get more concrete in around the event area. Main topic of the Show: What Do You Say It's been a grueling 3 months. Really a grueling year as we navigated what is a natural part of life: death. This topic is rarely discussed openly which leaves people rather unprepared on what to do when someone you know is going through the process of losing someone they love. In fact, this seems to be so taboo that being on the other side, the person losing someone is also pretty awkward. When you find out it is happening To share or not to share? What to say? What to respond How can you actually help Check in from time to tile Mealtrains Extend grace Talk about it or talk about normal things – just feel it out What about after it happens? To share or not to share There are many things to do - they take time Dont let your bank know yet! Have a financial backup plan Arrangements made with a mortuary in advance is a huge help A word on hospice A word on big decisions Boundaries… What to say? What to respond Cards, flowers, food, etc But what if I meant to do something and I never did? I am so uncomfortable with the topic I cannot bring myself to reach out. Now what? What is trite vs not trite. Really, there is no "answer" but just being kind on both directions goes a really long way. Make it a great week! GUYS! S4 Ep 940You Can't Unsee It - Ep 940
Today is a throwback to the days when I talked a bit about policy as well as our usual Monday segments about pantry management, frugality, building local wealth and more. Featured Event: Don't Miss This Badassed Wild Herbal/Edible Webinar on Thursday! Sponsor 1: AgoristTaxAdvice.com Sponsor 2: EmpShield.com, Coupon Code LFTN Listener Feedback I just wanted to reach out to you to tell you how much I appreciate your podcast and the experience Russ and I had at LFTN in 2023. Meeting you, John, and Amanda has really changed our lives for the better. We are doing great things on our farm- I even planted tomatoes in our Dutch bucket system that we have in our greenhouse! I am so stoked to see how things grow and what we can harvest this fall. Your My 3 Things is something that I use daily in order to help me keep things running smoothly on the farm as I work from home. I finished the first year of my program in herbalism and nutrition and am about to start off my second year. It has been so amazing and I was inspired to do better for my family and community through listening to your podcast. Keep up the amazing work and I look forward to learning more from you. Home Depot: A 2x4x8 is $3.65, same as last week. Aldi: There was very little milk; I hadn't been paying attention, but this time noticed that instead of three full racks of half and full gallons of actual milk plus a couple of varieties with nutritional content removed (2% and 1%), there were perhaps a couple of half-racks with gallons of whole milk and only a little of the fake stuff; few if any half-gallons. There was also only one rack of eggs. Staple prices were: bread (20 oz. white): $1.35; eggs: $2.42 (+); whole milk: $2.89; heavy cream: $5.39; OJ: $3.45; butter: $3.79; bacon: $3.99; potatoes: $4.49; sugar: $2.99; flour: $2.35; and 80% lean ground beef: $3.79. In the meat area, the coolers were full but not stuffed. Gas: A gallon of untainted regular gasoline remains at $3.599. Frugality Tip Our vision changes throughout our lives. Some of us need glasses, some of us need multiple glasses, or progressive lenses. Sometimes these cost a lot of money at eyeglass stores. Zenni optical is where I buy my glasses. Single prescription glasses start around $8. I have a pair of polarized prescription sunglasses that I paid $20 for and progressive lens glasses start at $38. So grab your prescription(s) and your Pupillary Distance (the distance in millimeters (mm) between the center of one pupil to the center of the other). And check out Zenni.com. they even have a try on feature. Happy saving y'all ~Margo Operation Independence Coffee Sales Are Through The Roof! Thanks Yall. Main topic of the Show: You Can't Unsee It A friend of mine posted some thoughts on the coming election. Her perspective was that if you live in a state where 70% or more of the votes will go D or R no matter who is running, there is no reason to vote "against" the dominant party mathematically if you like neither candidate. She's right. And therein lies the rub really: the word lead. And in those processed lie the true power and control - less so the people "overseeing them". The funny part is there are different reactions to seeing it: Denial Angler Negotiation Mourning And then there is our friend acceptance. But the fight changes after you see it because you know a few things. Realistic impact (your role) Embarrassment is a better tool than force Mostly, it doesnt matter unless you can physically make a change because you get one step forward here – two steps backward there And that back and forth is the distraction. Today we talk about the #myThreeThings method of personal and life planning and how it can be used through hard times to help you choose the most important things. We also cover a pantry update, the weekly shopping report, operation independence and more. UPDATE FROM Fountain.fm Doggonit Girl - A True Cook With What You Have Moment I listened to this twice. Love the format. I made a version of the tomato soup. Thank you for reminding me that the garden is so tasty. I found the solution to too much trombocino. I just had a baby Muscovy deficiency. They are like a school of pirahna on the seed ball end. I quarter it. They get two quarters twice a day. I have very little rind left. Grated trombocino and the tomato soup, with an immersion blender makes quite the hearty soup. Too much habanero! Bring out the sour cream. Today we talk about how to get ready NOT for what is coming this fall, but how to be ready for what happens after both this fall and THE fall. A few prices dropped this week. Staple prices were: bread (20 oz. white): 1.25 (-); eggs: $2.55 (-); whole milk: $2.92; heavy cream: $5.39; OJ: $3.45; butter: $3.59; bacon: $3.99; potatoes: $4.49; sugar: $2.99; flour: $2.35; and 80% lean ground beef: $3.79. We didn't go into Home Depot again this week, but the price online of a 2x4x8 is still $3.48. A gallon of untainted regular gasoline remains at $3.599. Frugality Tip My frugal tip is not a money tip, it's a time tip Watering trees: Hubby and I spent way too much time watering new trees around our property. We found some cheap five gallon buckets, drilled four holes in the bottom using his smallest drill bit. Now to water a tree, we put the bucket beside the tree on the up side if it's on a hill and fill the bucket up and walk away. Let the bucket do the work. The water slowly drains out of the bucket into the ground to the roots where you want the water, not running off because the hose delivers the water too fast. The store was fairly busy on multiple trips here on different days. On a later trip, I picked up a small Midea window AC unit I had ordered, a very efficient inverter model that I should be able to run with solar power if the need arises. Home Depot's price on it was actually slightly cheaper than Amazon's. They also had the blacktop patching "stuff" we needed for a spot on the driveway; sometimes they haven't had it. Aldi: They were busy on all three days, with multiple checkout lines going. We found everything we wanted except for cantaloupes, as they were few and miserable. I found a couple of better ones today. Staple prices were: bread (20 oz. white): $1.35; eggs: $2.67 (++); whole milk: $2.83; heavy cream: $5.39; OJ: $3.45 (+}; butter: $3.59; bacon: $3.99; potatoes: $4.49; sugar: $2.99; flour: $2.35; and 80% lean ground beef: $3.79. S4 Ep 919Yes You Can With #My3Things - EP 919
Today, we have a replay of the speech I gave at the Exit and Build Land Summit. Featured Event: Joel Salatin Webinar TOMORROW Sponsor 1: AgoristTaxAdvice.com/Webinar Sponsor 2: EMPShield.com COUPON CODE LFTN Tales from the Prepper Pantry Not much coming off the garden this year yet so we are not canning Preparing easily reheatable meals for the coming weeks of commuting to California Weekly Shopping Report This week's trip started with Hobby Lobby. The store looked normal overall, with the usual assortment of craft items and dust collectors, but there were empty hooks here and there; finding something specific you want may not be a sure thing. Next stop was Home Depot. They still have a lot of cordless tools from the recent Fathers' Day deals, but selections are dropping. A 2x4x8 is unchanged from last week, at $3.48. They also have a LOT of solar yard lights, much better than the cheapies you find in dollar stores or even in China-mart. These are potentially good power failure lights or inside guide-lights; put them out to charge during the day, and bring them in at night. Regular batteries also remain in very good supply. Aldi was last. Produce quality remains a little erratic, but quantities are still good. We found everything we wanted, although there was little pork, and some prices have edged higher once more. Staple prices were: bread (20 oz. white): 1.35 (+); eggs: $1.78 (+); whole milk: $2.83; heavy cream: $5.39 (+); OJ: $3.29; butter: $3.59; bacon: $3.99; potatoes: $4.49; sugar: $2.99; flour: $2.35; and 80% lean ground beef: $3.79. A gallon of untainted regular gasoline remains at $3.599. Frugality Tip from Margo We did a week long road trip around Self Reliance Festival. Two nights with family, one night with friends and 4 nights in a fantastic little cabin in the woods. I packed half our cooler with frozen meat when we left the house. I grilled and cooked at the cabin. We did not NEED to spend any money on eating out the whole week. (We did choose to support the food vendors at SRF because they were there). So if you are on the fence about the expenses involved in traveling, you can save a lot money buy bringing your own food. The couple of months before we left I grabbed a bag of nuts here, some other snacks there and had a bag of food ready to go when we left the house. With Airbnb we paid for the cabin in installments and it was paid for before we got there. With a little creative planning you can have a week long vacation with little expenses spread out over time. Also stashed cash for months and came home with enough cash to cover the gas and misc bills that we incurred on the trip. So take the trip to find your tribe!! ~Margo Operation Independence Wholesale adjustments on the homestead Main topic of the Show: Nicole's Speech at the Exit and Build Land Summit Make it a great week! Their sewing notions area looked well-stocked. Next was Home Depot. The store was reasonably busy for a non-weekend day. There is still no price tag on the 2x4x8 studs, but online they have dropped to $3.48. Seems to me I've seen some stuff online suggesting the lumber market is "collapsing." We'll see... Last was Aldi. We found everything we wanted. The 70% cacao chocolate was back in stock. It seemed there was more bread than there has been in recent weeks; more pork had returned to the meat coolers, and the cantaloupes were again decent. Staple prices were: bread (20 oz. white): 1.29; eggs: $1.54(-); whole milk: $2.83; heavy cream: $5.29; OJ: $3.29; butter: $3.59; bacon: $3.99; potatoes: $4.49; sugar: $2.99; flour: $2.35; and 80% lean ground beef: $4.09. A gallon of untainted regular gasoline remains at $3.599. Frugality Tip NOT from Margo Quality cabinets are hard to find (ask me how I know). If you have a ReStore nearby, you can find some amazing buys. We were able to get a 14 piece set of wood build cabinets. It included 2 tall units and another one with glass doors. S4 Ep 910Tips on Thriving Through Power Outages - Ep 910

Bone broth every day. Cant wait to get my jars back Freeze drying eggs and other abundance Air drying wild herbal teas Might actually pick and freeze some wild raspberries this week. Might Looking back at pulling the roof from the prepper pantry and redoing it so things are moisture tight in the next few months Weekly Shopping Report Our first stop on this Friday's shopping trip was Home Depot, primarily for bird seed. There is still no tag on the 2x4x8 studs, but the online price is still $3.73. Our only other stop was Aldi. They have run out of 70% cacao chocolate again. I saw more trays of salmon than usual, in lesser amounts per tray; it's priced per pound, so that's not "shrinkflation," apparently just a packing choice. Other meat choices looked a little sparse, with no pork butts and not a lot of ribs; fewer trays of ground beef as well. Lunch meat remains in good supply. Over in Produce, there was a big box of cantaloupe, but they all looked sorry, so we passed on those. The bananas (and other fruits and Bidens) looked good. Staple prices were: bread (20 oz. white): 1.29; eggs: $1.79; whole milk: $2.83; heavy cream: $5.29; OJ: $3.29; butter: $3.59 (-); bacon: $3.99; potatoes: $4.49; sugar: $2.99; flour: $2.35; and 80% lean ground beef: $4.09. A gallon of untainted regular gasoline remains at $3.599. Operation Independence Chicken Processing and the PURGE Main topic of the Show: Seventeen years ago, when I came to the Holler Homestead, some of the first things we did to the place was get set up to thrive through power outages. Back then they were rare and often repaired within an hour or two but growing up in a place where ice storms blew through every few years and no one was really set up for them - well that had set a foundation for things I wanted to make certain were handled no matter where I chose to live. So much has changed from the early days, including how much time it takes to get things up and running when the power goes out, frequency of power outages, and how gracefully we weather these times. Yesterday, I sold off two inverters that I had. They were intended to turn my car into a generator in the event of a power outage so that I could cool things down in my fridges and freezers and not have to panic pressure can all the meats here. As I watched them find a new home, I realized that we have not done a show with tips on how to thrive (not just survive) through power outages. Especially the kind that last a long time. This show is for folks who are on grid but who want to do better when the grid goes down. Embrace the suck (Which is that you will be putting more effort into comfort during a power outage) Emotional boosts: rechargeable light bulbs, lanterns, hot coco and a way to make it, story time or other entertainment, having a known plan Have a plan - make sure everyone knows the plan and their roles, be cross trained, bonus points if it is documented (Mine isn't) Tips Reduce what you cool or heat (Why I have a wood stove) Use what you have: camping supplies, the propane grill outside, your tent for sleeping in the summer at night, etc. Inverter/generator is a game changer BUT While they are in use take everything from the fridge that you plan to use for the day and keep it in a small cooler Countertop ice maker is a game changer Consolidate fridges and freezers so they are full Use paper plates and dish bins bins and wash 1-2 times a day WHILE IT IS STILL LIGHT OUT Top off battery operated devices while driving if you will be driving (Cigarette chargers with multiple USB Ports). Bonus points if you have power bricks Fast to cook meals, or low and slow in an insulated bin (or rock pot) What can you function stack? Woodstove is a crockpot and water heater Some things to consider for long term resilience What do you have that ONLY works with electricity and which of these things need to be handled to keep everyone thriving? (HVAC, Cooking, Drying, Lighting, Internet Equipment, Entertainment, Medical Equipment, Animal Habitat like aquariums or ponds) Can you shift to an alternative? (Gas, Wood, Camping Gear, Regenerative technology, Hard copies, do without) Can you use a battery supply for the things that you NEED? (Built in battery (A rechargeable device), Power bricks, battery bank, solar device) Can you find a way to regenerate the things that take power? (Hydro, wind, solar, gases, wood, gravity, hooking up a bike, composting. Etc. A word on c

We are assessing the homestead in terms of what brings value now more than ever. With the extra time, the home is almost back to a source of support rather than a drain. There is a lesson in this. Main topic of the Show: Why Homesteading and Coffee May 20, 2016 - an excerpt Nine years ago, we started on an adventure in the country. What began as a weekend getaway quickly changed into a small homestead with chickens, gardens, laughter, neighbors, and sometimes the opposite of laughter. The Holler Homestead is known in our area for our home roasted coffee (it takes less time to roast your own than drive to the store), elephant garlic, stone ground flour and hand rolled oats. We also help people learn how to preserve food and are keenly interested in self sufficient living. Y'all, I have not listened to episode one since about a week after recording it to figure out how I could be a better podcaster. It feels like so much has changed, and it has. But the core, the mission, the motivation is still the same as it was on day one. Do you know how good that makes me feel? Also a bit surprised. Back in 2016, this podcast was my only creative outlet. It was an attempt to reach more people who were interested not only on homesteading but it taking whatever steps in their life that they could to build something for them, outside the system, to live as they saw fit, without buying into the societal expectaitons - and without asking permission. >>GexX on Tiktok and the FIFO approach to life Fearlessness Hypothesis, test, conclusion Culture to support others who take that same approach We live in a time where everything is at your fingertips and some people think that is the problem, but it isnt. The problem is that because everything is at our fingertips, people mistakenly think that theoretical learning replaces practical application. And as we like to say around here: Sheep don't read books. The book learning is helpful. In fact, I am 1 lesson in on Spirko's composting course and that theoretical knowledge will greatly impact how we make compost at the Holler Homestead, but just nerding out on bacteria and fungi on the internet will not make the plants outside my back window thrive. Today, in celebration of eight years, i wanted to look at some of the reasons why LFTN, and the Holler Homestead have become what they are today - Why homesteading? Homesteading Mindset teaches us to create value with what we have so that we set a foundation of bringing value to others and can tap into the value that others bring to us. It is NOT a piece of land. The threat of our society and economy - Back to the land and preserving heritage skills. Homesteading's natural offspring is freedom - like the true kind of freedom you build by no longer GAF about what you used to think you could not live without (which creates weakness) Your health is the biggest gift you were given and the commercial food system is poison Heals your spirit through seasonal connection, sun light, bacterial connection and more As I think back on the past eight years of this podcast, I started out by wanting to share my personal planner with yall. That was the beginnings of My3Things. And the most surprising thing that happened was the community that we have become and that grows as we share episodes, help one another, get together to do GSD weekends and so much more. 8 years ago, I did not think we would become a counter economy and underground network (Explain more about this). 8 years ago, I was lucky if one person would come to Chicken day and new we fill event venues, sell out a spring workshop every year, and keep findi

They've got LOTS of batteries; I grabbed an 8-pack of AA lithium which will be for a label printer that won't get used a lot, and would likely be destroyed by alkaline leakage. A 2x4x8 is $3.73. A gallon of untainted regular gasoline remains at $3.599. Operation Independence What is the emergency fund for and what do you do after using it? Main topic of the Show: What is Next for LFTN It happened again. We turned a corner at the LFTN workshop. I kicked off the event with what was supposed to be a talk about using the #my3things method to move forward in life. But guys, I was BEAT. Like more beat that I have ever been. When I stepped in front of everyone to talk I saw much of the same fatigue on so many faces that I stopped focusing on the prepared notes and started a conversation. By then end of our conversation I realized something: You are no good to anyone if you put yourself in the hospital. Period. We have spent years helping people stuck in the throes of analysis paralysis just get started and then refine. We have spent years helping people who are having motivation problems, maybe a little depression or other things that keep them from persevering. We have talked about all the ways you can look at an impossible list, set a really big goal, then go for it and keep going every. Single. Day. We have even talked about adding your personal health, relationships, and other really important things to your daily goals so that you build a happy life. Why? Because the problem most of us face as we begin our walk toward independence is not what other people think about us. It isn;t if a spouse is on board or not. It isnt even about squeezing that last nickel out of your day to finally put aside toward something better. It is the broken promises to ourselves that must change. We tell ourselves stories like: I will eat on plan, or I will do this thing by that time. Or I will by GUM conquer laundry mountain tomorrow. Always tomorrow. Then tomorrow comes and it is so tempting to just not do what we set out to do even if we KNOW we feel better if we prioritize what we already promised ourselves (and sometimes others) we would do. The pressure of the urgent will overpower the prioritization of the urgent if you let it. And that is what you were programmed to do. Programmed by the bell at school. By asking for bathroom breaks. By seeking permission. Yes a corner was turned at the spring workshop, as it usually is. LFTN has grown as a community. In fact, someone told me they wished they had a term for the Greater TSP/LFTN/SOE/DELINQUENTS community because we all overlap and we all share core values. I just call it The Community if that helps. That way when another community of doers appears, we dont have to rebrand. The Community as in the Real Community - not a fake one that has been thrust upon us by outside forces but a group of people we can work with. Who understand the difference between friendly competition and toxic competition. Who DO instead of take. Yes, LFTN has brown beyond the timid little group of women who decided to step outside expectations and start doing what people told us we couldn't or shouldn't do. We've grown as mentors, and leaders, and as supporters. I've come to see that homest
