OCCULTURE 50: Michael Joseph // The Astrology of a Natal Chart, Questioning Occulture & Beyond the Veil of Isis
EIf you're listening to this on November 7, it is my birthday. Now, I don't care about celebrating my birthday. I usually don't. Just another day for me. So this episode is not some egotistical, self-indulgent crap that I'm throwing out there because I want the attention. In fact, this wasn't even going to be an episode that I shared with you guys. This started as a casual conversation with Michael Joseph, the man behind the schism206 YouTube channel. Some of you may have heard Mike on the Sage of Quay Radio Hour or The Higherside Chats. He is quite the resource for occult and esoteric information. He's spent a lot of time reading and interpreting texts in this area and showing how the information in these texts comprise an occult belief system of the "elite", and how those beliefs are portrayed in our cultural and political institutions. The basis of this conversation though stems from Mike's blossoming interest in astrology, to the point where he wants to start offering astrological services to folks who are interested in such things. And he asked me if I wouldn't mind being a guinea pig for him. And who am I to turn down a free natal chart reading? So the first hour or so of the chat is focused on that. And then it transitions into more of a self-reflective conversation, where Mike and I really open up about our concerns with occult and conspiracy culture. We may ruffle a few feathers here, because I think we touch on a couple areas and make a couple points that I don't think get discussed much. I should also point out that the video version of this on YouTube does contain visual support. I've included a link to the YouTube video in the show notes if you're interested. It really is this best way to interact with this episode. If you're not interested in video, I've also included a link to an image of my chart if you just wanna glance at it throughout. I should also note this one just sort of starts. There's no formal introduction or greeting. It's just Mike and I chatting. So let's open our minds and get ourselves ready for a nice, long critical think, and let's cast this pod off deep into the heart of the zodiac as it was on November 7, 1983, at 9:20 pm, when the sun was in Scorpio, the Moon was in Sagittarius, and when my mom finally decided she'd had enough of me kicking and screaming inside of her. OCCULTURE 49: Seth Breedlove // Paranormal Ohio, Mothman & Invasion on Chestnut Ridge
EWe're gettin' our creep on yet again with our guest, Seth Breedlove. Seth is the filmmaker behind Small Town Monsters, an independent film series that explores lost and bizarre history around the United States. Seth's films focus on small town folklore and tell stories through the words and experiences of the residents and witnesses who were most affected by these stories. Seth's previous films under the Small Town Monsters banner include 2015's Minerva Monster, 2016's Beast of Whitehall, 2016's Boggy Creek Monster, 2017's The Mothman of Point Pleasant, and his latest film, Invasion on Chestnut Ridge, which lays the foundation for our discussion here. OCCULTURE 48: Jeff Wolfe // Subversive Horror Cinema: Remembering George Romero & Tobe Hooper
EINTERVIEW BEGINS AT 7:58 - Some of you have been clamoring for Jeff Wolfe to return to the show after our first conversation back in episode 23. Jeff, of course, is the scribe at SecretTransmissions.com, one of, I think, the must-read blogs on the intrawebz if you're into things like the occult or counterculture, or, as is this case with our chat here, the subversiveness of horror cinema. Jeff is one of the biggest horror geeks I know, and I thought it was fitting to ask him back on the show to have a conversation that not only pays tribute to the film genre that he and I love most, but to give a honor two of its very best artisans in George Romero and Tobe Hooper. Both passed away earlier this year, and were primarily responsible for laying the groundwork for what most of us know as modern horror cinema. If you're a fan of the genre or any of the movies of these guys, you'll quite enjoy this chat. And if you're not, hopefully you will be interested in their work afterward. Jeff and I are gonna slip on our leatherfaces, crank up this chainsaw and cast this pod off deep into the heart of the dark counterculture, where zombies and those who run from them aren't so different. OCCULTURE 47: Natalie Zaman // Coloring Spells, Samhain Witchcraft, Astrology & Returning to Our Roots
EArziana EverDark cameos in the intro to talk a little Samhain witchcraft, but our featured player is Natalie Zaman. She's back in the house because she has a super cool new book out from Llewellyn called Color and Conjure: Rituals & Magic Spells to Color. It's part coloring book, part collection of spells, but it's all about manifesting your desires with magic and creativity. We talk about that, as well as a little astrology, a little colorstrology, and much more. OCCULTURE 44: Nathan Dube // Hypersigils, Egregores, Music & Making Magic
ENathan Dube is the author of the novel "A Labyrinth of Dreams", which lays the foundation for our conversation here. The book doubles as a hypersigil and is about 18-year-old Julian Crane who, after the murder of his grandfather, leaves the Christian faith to study occultism and the magical arts and discovers what he calls the realm of the seven dream worlds. It caps off a nice trilogy of sorts with the two previous episodes with Dick Khan and Ian WIlson. So let's kickstart this heart and cast this pod off into a place where the highest form of magic is and has always been art, and where that art is indeed resistance. Also, the Mistress of Magic, Katelan Foisy, joins me for a few minutes in the intro to talk about a Kickstarter she's involved in for "BECOMING DANGEROUS", a nonfiction book of deeply personal essays by marginalized people using the intersection of feminism, witchcraft, and resistance to summon power and become fearsome in a world that would prefer them afraid. OCCULTURE 43: Ian Wilson // Lucid Dreams, Precognition, Qualia & Interconnectedness
EWe're slashing through your subconscious like a nightmare on Elm Street with this supernatural sonic paralysis, and we're diggin' deep into the dreamscape in this one with Ian Wilson. Ian is a private dream researcher and dream explorer who has been recognized by members of the International Association for the Study of Dreams as a pioneer in the exploration of precognitive dream phenomena. Ian is also the man behind the website YouAreDreaming.org, which is a wet dream for anyone interested in dream research, consciousness or anything associated with these fields. Ian has tons of free articles, abstracts and ebooks available on his website, including a book titled "You Are Dreaming", which I stumbled across a few years back and recommend to anyone with even a passing interest in this topic. We'll be digging into the material in that book and much more. So why wait? OCCULTURE 42: Dick Khan // DMT & The Occult Mind: Investigating Occult Realities Using the Spirit Molecule
EWe've got a true modern-day psychonaut in the house. His pseudonym is Dick Khan, and he's the author of the book "DMT & My Occult Mind: Investigation of Occult Realities Using the Spirit Molecule". This book is actually the first of a three-book series that chronicles more than 600 DMT experiments that Dick conducted over the course of three years. His experiments landed him a speaking gig at the recent Breaking Convention 2017, the fourth International Conference on Psychedelic Consciousness, and after his talk there, his story was then featured on VICE.com. He's a man who's smoked DMT more times in a day than I have in my lifetime, and a man who's got entities on speed dial. But let's do some dialing of our own and ratchet this thing up to 528 Hz and cast this pod off into the occulted Land of Pineal, where we find the answer to life, the universe and everything. OCCULTURE 41: Joe aka d8_thc // Nassim Haramein, The Holographic Universe, Sacred Geometry & Unifying Physics
EI suppose it's the de facto end of the summertime, and the lovin' may not be so easy as we head into the next part of our celestial cycle. With the eclipse aftermath and Mercury retrograde and the new moon, we've all been doing some heavy lifting recently. And this episode is direct reflection of that, because we're doing some heavy lifting with my man Joe aka d8_thc. He's the creator and one of the moderators of the /holofractal subreddit over at Reddit. Joe and I are gonna dig into the subject that inspired the creation of the subreddit, and that is the work of Nassim Haramein and the Resonance Project, which seeks to bridge the gap between science and spirituality and unify physics. We'll be talking the theory of the holographic universe and the differences between that and the standard model of physics. We'll also hit on fractal geometry, the holographic theory as expressed in a story from Buddhist philosophy, the Music of the Spheres, how the human brain fits into this theory, the Bible, creation myths from the Dogon and the Egyptians, the Ark of the Covenant, crop circles, squaring the circle, and a bit of a teaser for a future episode that tackles Shakespeare's connection to all of this. So let's light this mother up and cast this pod off into a space where the measurement of the internal far exceeds the measurement of the external. Enjoy. OCCULTURE 40: Greg Kading // Tupac & Biggie Murders, Judaism, Islam, Friday the 13th & Occult Las Vegas
EMy partner in crime, my ride or die, for this one is Greg Kading, a retired Los Angeles Police detective who spent a couple years heading up a task force charged with investigating the murder of Christopher Wallace aka rapper Biggie Smalls. That case eventually crossed paths with the unsolved murder of Tupac Shakur, and, according to Greg, both these cases have been cracked, but, for reasons he'll outline for us, Greg had to self-publish the findings of the task force investigation in his 2011 book "Murder Rap: The Untold Story of the Biggie Smalls & Tupac Shakur Murder Investigations". The book has since been made into a documentary of the same name and is now being adapted as a television series for the USA network. This story has a lot of moving parts, a lot of names and dates, and I only had an hour with Greg, so I did my best to streamline the major players and events. There's a lot of conspiracy theories surrounding these stories, and I did ask Greg about one of them that I'm gonna dig more into on my own after our conversation. But for now, let's bump and grind to this slow jam and cast this pod off onto the streets of LA, from Oakland to Sacktown, the Bay Area and back down, because Occulture is where we're puttin' this mack down. bonusEHere's some bonus audio from a recent conversation with Greg Stewart, a 3rd-degree Blue Lodge Mason and a 32nd-degree Scottish Rite Mason. The audio quality is so-so because Greg was wearing a headset microphone that clicked and clacked, so apologies in advance for that. Regardless, there's some good stuff in here, including some talk on podcasting as both occult practice and a contribution to The Great Work, as well as some chatter on conspiracy theories. We'll be chatting about a couple of books he's written based on his experience with the occult and perhaps some experience he's had with government-funded mind kontrol programs. BRM is speaking to us from his own personal experience of occult study and practice, which led him to some really fuckin' weird experiences with demon evocation and sexual possession, and there's also an aspect of mind kontrol in here that we flesh out quite a bit. OCCULTURE 38: SMQ.AI // We Died in 2012: The Mandela Effect, Cymatics, CERN & Transhumanism
EYouTuber SMQ.AI is in the hooooouuuuuuse. SMQ has been making videos for the past few months that present a personal philosophy and cosmology based on one simple idea: that we all died in 2012. A lot of strange things happened that year, if you recall. You had the supposed end of the Mayan calendar, which seems like bullshit now. You also have false flag events such as Sandy Hook, which woke up a lot of people, this guy included. You also had the supposed discovery of the god particle by scientists at CERN, the Curiosity rover supposedly landed on Mars, and then there's something that SMQ brings up regarding a potentially prophetic quote from Terence McKenna that has to do with 2012. And then this thing called the Mandela Effect seemed to really ramp up around this time as well. And that's the basis for SMQ's YouTube videos, which constructs his cosmology of our collective death in 2012 via subjects such as the aforementioned Mandela Effect, cymatics, the cyclical nature of time, CERN, and transhumanism. We touch on all these topics and more, including creativity, muses, art as magic, and vertical thinking vs. lateral thinking. This is one of the more thought-provoking episodes I've done, and we sort of ease into it, but once we get going, we gone. So hang on. 'Cause this pod is casting off into a reality where time and art are the only currencies that matter. OCCULTURE 37: Ed Liu // Psychedelic Milk, Being Woke & Finding Your Magic
EEd Liu and I are blasting through Barstow with a whole galaxy of multi-colored uppers, downers, screamers, and laughers at our disposal. Ed is the host of Psychedelic Milk, one of my favorite podcasts, and the most downloaded psychedelic podcast on iTunes. Ed's approach is fresh and clean, like an Outkast song. His podcast covers psychedelics from a more intimate perspective. Ed takes listeners along on his personal journey of Self discovery and development, from episode to episode. It's definitely more spirituality than science, which is rare in the psychedelic podcast niche, but that's what we're all about here at Occulture. Ed is joining us all the way from Hong Kong to drop this oral illustration of spiritual stimulation, so let's go to our vulnerable space and curl up by this alchemical fire, because when Ed and I are on the microphone you best to wear your sweater, 'cause this one's cooler than a polar bear's toenails. Oh hell, there I go again, talking that shit. So let's just bend corners like we're a curve, and cast this pod off into the center of that nerve, 'cause your earholes are 'bout to get served. Enjoy. OCCULTURE 36: Carmen Di Luccio // Astrology, Cryptocurrency & Nutritional Alchemy
EWe're grooving to the beat of that celestial drum with Carmen Di Luccio, the astrologer-in-residence at the website Collective Evolution. Carmen has sort of become my personal astrologer. Been helping me with some astrological business here and there. I also refer to him in my head as the Fabio of the Zodiac, because he looks a little like Fabio. Or maybe a lot. Or maybe not at all. I don't fucking know. What I do know, however, is that we're talking the astrology of the Great American Eclipse, coming up on August 21, and how that will affect us as individuals and as a group. Also some outer planet retrogrades, and some cryptocurrency, including what may be in store for Bitcoin and what may be its biggest competitor, Ethereum. We also get into some talk on superfoods and nutritional alchemy and how you could possibly use astrology to improve your health. So, some speculation paired with some practicality. My favorite sort of conversation. Maybe it'll be yours too. Only one way to find out, and that's by casting this pod off into the houses that the gods built. OCCULTURE Magical Egypt Cancer Fight Companion: Den of Lore's Chris George Zuger on The John Anthony West Project
bonusEThe John Anthony West Project on Fundly Hey yo. So I wanted to take some time here to share with you guys some information on a cause that's near and dear to me. I assume most of you who listen to this show are familiar with the work of John Anthony West, the man who, along with Dr. Robert Schoch, put forth the hypothesis in the early 90s that the Great Sphinx of Giza, Egypt, showed evidence of weathering brought on by prolonged and extensive rainfall. This is significant because that hypothesis, as one might expect, is not in line with the mainstream history of the Sphinx that most Egyptologists subscribe to. In fact, West and Schoch's Sphinx erosion hypothesis predates the widely accepted account that the Sphinx, along with the Second Pyramid at Giza, was built by Egyptian pharaohs around 2500 BC. Now, we're not going to get into all of that right now, although I would love to some other time. Instead, the point of this recording is to shed some light on the personal life of John Anthony West as it stands in this moment. John was recently diagnosed with cancer and is currently fighting for his life. He is 85 years old, so you really don't know how much time someone at that age has left regardless of disease. But the man has made such an impact on people who are into esoterica of any sort. John has spent the last few decades raging against the quackademics, the presstitutes, the Church of Progress, and those still living in Dumbfuckistan. John has helped enlighten many, many people as it relates to our occulted history along the way. Because of that impact, and because John has much business left unfinished, there's a number of people rallying to help him in this battle. One of those people who has been helping raise awareness and funds for John's battle is in the house. His name is Chris George Zuger, aka Mr. Scotch-a-Lot. Chris has helped put together a couple telethons that were broadcast live on Den of Lore, his live-streaming YouTube show/podcast. Music courtesy Ed Liu. SUPPORT Podcasting costs money. Ryan Enters the Den of Lore for a Brief Cameo
bonusEHey yo. So, I made another new friend recently. His name is Chris George Zuger, and he's the host of a YouTube show called Den of Lore, which has quickly became a staple of my audio consumption habits. You'll be hearing more from Chris in the next few days here on Occulture, but Chris was kind enough to invite me to plug my show at the beginning of a recent episode that featured an interview with Richard Hoagland, the guy who's well-known for proposing theories relating to ancient civilizations on Mars and the moon, among other things. I didn't have much time here with Chris because we got started a bit later than we wanted to. Regardless, I am grateful to him for inviting me into the Den of Lore for this brief cameo appearance, and I hope we can do it again sometime. Enjoy.

Ryan Logs on to a 1998 AOL Chatroom on Cruzin With Steak
bonusE#FuckMUFON So, I made a couple new friends recently. They're named Grim and James, and they host a new podcast called Cruzin with Steak. These guys are really big supporters of the Grimerica Show, which I'd recommend checking if you've never heard it. Darren and Graham, who host that show, were kind enough to join me in episode 3 before I really knew what the hell I was doing here. And the community that they've built through their show really might be the tightest knit fanbase of any podcast in this genre that I've seen. And I think that's really awesome. They're bringing people together who have similar interests and may not have anyone in their own personal lives to talk to about certain subjects or ideas or concerns. And this Cruzin with Steak podcast has grown out of that Grimerica community. I was honored to have been asked to be a guest on their show and spend some time talking about the genesis of Occulture and some behind the scenes things about the show, and a whole range of topics, from my own personal journey to this point in my life, our problems with conspiracy theories, I throw out a couple ideas for other podcasts I wanna do, my affinity for pro wrestling comes up, and so do public boners. That is a pun, but they really come up... in the conversation. But the most important thing we talk about is love. And if there's one thing you take from this, let it be what is said by all of us on that topic. At the very least, it's quite a fun chat, and I gotta thank Grim and James for inviting me on, and I hope to talk to them again soon. Enjoy.

OCCULTURE 35: Occult Fan // The Holy Gift: Trivium, Quadrivium, Kabbalah & Fibonacci in TOOL's Lateralus
EHoly gift! Nathan Lee Miller Foster, better known across the intrawebz as Occult Fan, is back in the house for an epic chat about the occult symbolism found throughout an album called Lateralus, released in 2001 by the band Tool. Now, as it stands, Lateralus is a beautiful piece of music, maybe the most beautiful piece of music, by a band that's revered for its hypnotic and psychedelic progressive metal sound. It is High Art, capital H, capital A. After its release, this album became the subject of much speculation across online forums and now has a firm place in internet lore. Essentially, it was discovered that this album, Lateralus, could have its songs rearranged into a different order, and that order provided an entirely new and different listening experience, one that was, honestly, more coherent and more metaphysical, and dare I say more spiritual. Not to mention, the rather overt - and also covert - references to popular occulture, which our number one Occult Fan is going to point out for us. Now, despite our previous episode together, this is actually the first time Nathan Lee and I spoke, so we also cover some personal stuff up front - you know, the who are you, what do you do, what sort of juju is your jam sort of stuff - and there are some tangents here and there, and a few interludes of sort. But if you guys stick around for the entirety, I don't think you'll be disappointed. We cover a ton of ground here, including the discovery of The Holy Gift album itself, the thematic thread that runs through this rearranged album, and the symbolism found in the album artwork. This is jam-packed with everything an occult fan could want: the seven liberal arts and the Fibonacci sequence, alchemy and magic, interdimensional entities and archonic control, the kabbalah, consciousness, conspiracy theories, Coast to Coast AM and pop occulture references galore. Hell, I may even share some information with you on how to possibly jump between dimensions, and hell, Nathan Lee may even read us some fuckin' Tolstoy, and hell, this whole thing may even loop around and spiral up and down and end where it began. EFilmmaker Chris Garetano is in the house to talk about his 2015 documentary Montauk Chronicles, which examines the stories of three men who claimed to be involved in one of the more sinister government programs anyone this side of the Upside Down has heard of. It's a program that's rumored to include some serious high fuckery: child kidnappings and murder, mind kontrol, time travel, extraterrestrial intelligence, other dimensions, and a chair. And if ya didn't catch the Stranger Things reference there, the Montauk Project was the inspiration for that hit Netflix series, for those unaware. Chris also has a new show debuting on the History Channel in August called The Dark Files, the first episode of which continues his investigation into the Montauk Project. OCCULTURE 33: Greg Stewart // The Morals & Dogma of Freemasonry: Hermeticism, Gnosticism & Kabbalah
EOoo wee, we're back with nothin' but pure unadulterated love drippin' down into that ear canal. And things are about to get a bit more intimate, because it's time to lay back and settle in for a long, hot, spine-tingling eargasm. And the man with the master plan for building us up to that is the Hermetic Hermit himself, Mr. Greg Stewart. Greg is a 3rd-degree Blue Lodge Mason and a 32nd-degree Scottish Rite Mason. He's been called a Masonic bodhisattva because of his quest to return Freemasonry to its esoteric roots. As a devoted student of the esoteric mystery schools, Greg is a firm believer in the Masonic connection to the Hermetic traditions of antiquity, its evolution through the ages, and its present configuration as the antecedent to most present day esoteric and occult practices. Greg has explored the rites of Masonic initiation through a variety of initiatory systems with the goal of understanding the deeper meaning behind them. In that process, Greg's exploration has converged with mainstream and esoteric religious traditions, rituals of religious practice, and their intersecting undercurrents. Now, on the other side of that journey, the focus of his attention is on how those intersections relate to the Great Work, a subject he explores in a book series called Symbolic Lodge, which looks at the first three degrees of Blue Lodge Freemasonry and brings together aspects of Hermetica, the Kabbalah, the tarot, and other esoteric and occult fields to help understand the hidden meaning at work in the Symbolic Lodge of Freemasonry. Greg previously maintained a blog called Masonic Traveler from 2005-2009, and you can read some of his essays and commentary from that blog in book form, published under the same name. Greg also formerly co-hosted and produced the Masonic Central podcast, the archives of which can be found, along with the rest of his personal Great Work, on the website FreemasonInformation.com. OCCULTURE Addendum i // A Spiritual Interpretation of Antarctica & The Inner Earth
bonusEThis didn't really fit into the footnote that I posted yesterday, but it was part of the original 45-minute script that I wound up scrapping because it made little sense. But I wanted to share my interpretation of what's happening in Antarctica, beyond the physical, materialistic explanation of what may be going on down there. Of course this does require some context of that explanation. For those unaware, Antarctica has been making news in the alternative media recently because a lot of public figures from various countries have been visiting the continent for reasons not yet known. I've seen theories that run the gamut of the fringe: the discovery of a giant hole that contains some serious heavy, ancient machinery; the rediscovery of the lost continent of Atlantis, or Antarctica itself being Atlantis; the discovery of another race of beings, be it terrestrial or extraterrestrial; and the discovery of an entrance into the inner earth. Whichever of these theories is true, we know that we're not just now discovering it. We've heard these stories for years. But the increase in visits and attention on Antarctica is curious nonetheless. If I had guess, I'd say a combination of the first theory and the last theory - a giant hole with some serious heavy, ancient machinery and an entrance beyond that into the inner earth. I theorize this because it represents the journey inward that I talked about in that footnote. Discovering an entrance to the interior of the planet on which we exist, or to the interior of the plane in which we exist, really does align nicely with the spiritual development a lot of people seem to be going through at the moment. It makes sense that if many individual parts of the collective are spiritually blossoming that the reflection that is our collective physical reality would match up with the journey of the Self, which is always inward, not outward. It's similar to how the fringe community was obsessed with space travel many decades ago. That seems to have waned. Now, it seems we're keener on exploring what's already part of us, places like Antarctica, places that are already here. We've been so concerned with exploring other planets and star systems while much of Earth remains unexplored. It really is an exciting time, if you don't let all the constant fear, paranoia and propaganda get to you. And it does seem like that which is above is reflective of that which is below, like that which is without is reflective of that which is within. Maybe we're just now rediscovering the infinite universe within. Question is: what will we do when we learn of that entrance to the interior? What will you do when you discover it?

OCCULTURE Footnote 1 // Order, Chaos & The Wizard of Oz
bonusEI struggle with where to start stories. I heard Dan Carlin, one of the godfathers of podcasting, I heard him say on his last episode of Hardcore History that he's addicted to context. He has stories he wants to tell and once he gets into them, the story changes so much that his original idea for one show on one topic turns into a six-part series on something else entirely. That's how I feel about what I'm going to share with you right now. I've rewritten this several times, and each time it just got further and further away from me, to the point where I didn't understand what I was even trying to communicate. So I'm just going back to basics, simplifying this for myself and for you. Honestly, you would have heard me rant for 45 minutes and go on tangent after tangent and try to tie a bunch of disparate points into one coherent message. But that wasn't working for me, which means there's no way it would have worked for you. Instead, I'm just gonna strip all that away - including the Reddit thread that initially inspired me to record this - but I'm gonna strip all that away and just be real. In episode 29, I spoke with Dan Willis. The first hour of that conversation Dan talked at length and in great detail about some of the hidden history of extraterrestrial contact with humanity and the process of disclosing that to the general public. But, when I contacted Dan about coming on the show, I didn't mention this topic at all. I was much more interested in his work with Dr. Marcel Vogel on quartz crystals and the sacred geometry of water and how to structure it. Obviously Dan's background beyond that is compelling, and if you heard that episode, you know why. He's an ex-Navy guy whose professional travels have taken him many different places, including to Washington DC, where he testified in front of the National Press Club about what's most commonly referred to as ETI, or extraterrestrial intelligence. He talked about human contact with ETI, deals cut between governments and ETI, technology embargoes with ETI, and so on. Honestly, I wasn't expecting to talk about that in such great detail. I hadn't prepared to talk about it. As I said, I was more interested in the other topics that we talked about in the second hour. Frankly, the disclosure topic doesn't interest me much. It's not because I don't see any truth in the stories. I'm sure there's something there. Where there's smoke, there's usually fire, right? My issue with this is the large group of people pushing for it, pushing for the truth to finally come out. But that group is pushing for this truth from a gang of corrupt authority figures. The people fighting for disclosure are fighting against an entity that has done nothing but hide, cloak, lie and kill to keep secrets. The more I think about disclosure, the more I think it's just a matter of telling people what they want to hear, not necessarily what's actually going on. It seems more like they'v spent all this time building up the fervor, creating another false reality beyond the veil, so that when the time came to "lift the veil", when people started clamoring for some appeasement beyond this superficial bullshit we've all come to hate, that they'd have an answer for us. Honestly, it seems like just another distraction. It's just another false construct being built for you, instead of being built by you. That's the heart of the issue for me. It's more hive-mind groupthink. It's more humans externalizing their search for truth instead of internalizing it. The further out you go to search for truth, the further away from it you actually are. That's why I got rid of everything I had initially written and rewritten. I had 15 pages of me tumbling down a rabbit hole that started with disclosure, then somehow got onto coronal mass ejections and reptilians and the whole Corey Goode stuff, and then I just got lost in it. The whole thing made no fucking sense. It was me trying to externalize. I was trying to turn chaos into order, and that never works. Those of you familiar with the occult know that answers are rarely found outside. They're rarely given to you by others. You seek within, and you find within. The universe, the uni-verse, your one verse, is a reflection of you, of your truth within, whatever it may be. We need to stop assuming the external and the others that populate it are going to give us any sort of truth. Because others are only giving you their truth. The trick is to not let someone else's truth become yours. Because then they can wield power over you. That's the trap we've fallen into again and again as individuals and as a species. I heard Walter Bosley say recently that paranormal phenomena knows your motives. It knows what you want to see. He said, "If you wanna go out and have the Close Encounters of the Third Kind, or the ET experience, you can go out and it will give you that. Of course that might not be what's really going on." What is the "it" he's talking about? Is it this aetheric

OCCULTURE 29: Dan Willis // Disclosure, Mind Control, Quartz Crystals & The Geometry of Water
EIn this episode, a chat with Dan Willis, one of The Disclosure Project's top secret military witnesses. A little bit of everything in this episode: extraterrestrial disclosure, deep state infiltration and mass media manipulation, mind kontrol, quartz crystal technology, the sacred geometry and memory of water, how to properly structure water, and love love love. Big news too. Check out https://www.occulturepodcast.com/support. We are open for business. Dan testified at the National Press Club in Washington DC in 2001 in front of major media outlets. This National Press Club event was a world disclosure event that was asking for a congressional hearing in order to bring forth witnesses and scientists from within government black projects in an effort to release technologies derived from extraterrestrial reverse engineering that have been hidden for nearly 70 years, technologies that could stop further damage to our planet. But instead, the message delivered by those who testified that day was sanitized by a controlled mainstream media. Dan's first-hand experiences, as well as his research into the historical indicators that have been purposely omitted from our education system, reveal an infiltration of unwarranted influences operating behind the secrecy established for the US national security system, a system that is used to indoctrinate the public, control their opinions and form their perceptions of an "agreed upon reality", all done in order to hide illegal operations and cover up the true nature of our reality. Dan is a veteran of the US Navy, an ex-radio broadcast engineer and former ABC newsman who has taken a keen interest in how the mainstream media has withheld information from the public. Not only has Dan been involved in the Disclosure Project, but his personal and professional interests also led him to the work of Dr. Marcel Vogel, a former research scientist for IBM who Dan became an associate of. Dr. Vogel did pioneering work in human-and-plant communication experiments, which then led him to the study of quartz crystals and the creation of faceted crystals for therapeutic use. Dr. Vogel's research into the therapeutic application of quartz crystals also led him to the investigation of the relationship between crystals and water, where he discovered that he could structure water by spinning it around a tuned crystal, altering many of the characteristics of the water and converting it into an information storage system. As I said, this is one hell of an episode. We get into all of this and a whole lot more, if you can believe it. OCCULTURE 27: Occult Fan // Occult & Esoteric Symbolism in David Lynch's Twin Peaks
EIn this episode, a chat with Nathan Lee Miller Foster aka Occult Fan about occult symbolism in the Twin Peaks Universe. If you're a fan of filmmaking, you're undoubtedly familiar with David Lynch and the surreal stories and soundscapes he's contributed to the lexicon of popular culture. His work is filled with an education typically reserved for initiates and adepts of the various mystery schools found throughout our occulted history, and one of those works that speaks perhaps the greatest truth most of us have never known is found in a universe known simply as Twin Peaks. Comprised of the original thirty television episodes, a feature film called Fire Walk With Me, a novel published by the show's co-creator Mark Frost called The Secret History of Twin Peaks, and the television reboot that premieres Sunday, May 21st on Showtime, the Twin Peaks Universe has done more to divulge the true nature of reality than perhaps any other piece of art ever has or will. On the surface, Twin Peaks is more of a story about conspiracy and corruption in a small town in Washington State than it ever was a story about who killed Laura Palmer. But unravel a thread here and unpeel a layer there and you'll discover a world inhabited by duæling magicians, Jungian archetypes, mutable realities and extradimensional entities, with references to everything from the writings of Aleister Crowley, UFOs, secret societies and the secret space program to Lewis & Clark, alchemy, Native American mysticism and Jack Parsons' Babalon Working. And while I'm not nearly famous enough to pull a guest like David Lynch or Mark Frost--and believe me, I tried--I did get the next best thing: an occult fanboy named Nathan Lee Miller Foster who has lent his ear and support to me as I venture down this podcasting path, and someone who's shown me privately just how well he can dissect occult symbols and themes in showpieces such as this. And now it's time for him to do the same thing for you publicly. Nathan Lee is full of extradimensional energies and eccentricities, and as any of our grandfathers would say, he's quite the character. We've struck up a bit of a friendship, so this conversation may strike you as a bit more casual than most. Honestly, while I was in the midst of it I had no idea how it would play back, but after editing it I have to say that we turned a molehill into a magical mountain that David Lynch and Mark Frost would be proud of. This requires a bit of working knowledge of the Twin Peaks Universe, and those of you who have that will hopefully appreciate our efforts. And those of you who may not know the first thing about it, well, I hope what you're about to hear piques your curiosity, pun definitely intended. OCCULTURE 26: Joel Selvin // Rock 'n Roll's Darkest Day: Altamont, The Rolling Stones & Hells Angels
EIn this episode, a chat with music journalist Joel Selvin, author of "Altamont: The Rolling Stones, the Hells Angels and the Inside Story of Rock's Darkest Day". Joel and I are gonna be chatting about the historic free concert thrown by the Rolling Stones at the Altamont Speedway in December 1969. Joel has called this rock 'n roll's darkest day, and I'm sure many others would agree. I'm also sure some people are probably like, "Ryan, what the hell does this story have to do with the occult?" And to that I say this: as with anything occult, if you get caught up with the story on the surface, you've missed the message completely. To be fair, though, this doesn't have anything to do with occult study or philosophy, but this story does have an interesting place in the annals of not just rock music, but also American culture. The Altamont concert is not a forgotten moment, by any means, but I think it does merit some attention because of the time in which it took place and how the hippie movement was viewed afterward. Joel is a San Francisco-based music critic and author best known for his weekly column in the San Francisco Chronicle, which ran from 1972 to 2009. In addition to his book on Altamont, Joel has penned several books examining the cross-section of music and culture, including "Summer of Love: The Inside Story of LSD, Rock & Roll, Free Love and High Time in the Wild West", as well as "Peppermint Twist: The Mob, the Music and the Most Famous Dance Club of the 60s". He's also authored or co-authored biographies on some notable musicians, including Rock & Roll Hall of Famers Ricky Nelson and Sammy Hagar. But our focus here is the story surrounding a free concert held at Altamont Speedway in Northern California in December 1969. The Rolling Stones headlined a bill any fan of rock music would loved to have seen, but the day was marred by biker beatdowns, bad drugs and the death of a young black man named Meredith Hunter. Whether you've heard the story before or not, I think you'll learn a little something from this. It's a fine chat with one of the premier chroniclers of the San Francisco music scene. And if you're into speculation and conspiracy theory, please do stay tuned for the outro. Enjoy.
