Genesis 42
Special Guest: Mark Clifton Genesis 42 July 11, 2021

Romans 13
How is the Christian to view the role of government? Throughout history, Christians, for the most part, have existed within cultures and nations that have not been favorable to the Christian way of life. America is the anomaly, a nation that has been founded upon biblical principles and a Christian worldview. A nation and a government that has been favorable to the Christian way of life, but as we all know the times are changing. We are facing situations and decisions that we've really never had to face before, and the question is, how are Christians to respond? In this lesson, Pastor Chad McDonald teaches from Romans 13 to provide biblical principles regardless of what government or state you are part of.

You are not Alone
Pastor Chad McDonald Revelation 1 June 27, 2021 Exiled and alone on the island of Patmos, John is instructed to write down all that he sees. It had been over 30 years since he last saw Jesus and now John sees Him in all of His glory and falls to the ground like a dead man in His presence. The letter John penned began by addressing the church in the midst of their persecution. John reminds them they were not alone and nor are we. In this message Pastor Chad leads us through God’s Word in the Book of Revelation chapter 1 verses 9 through 20.

Future Promises
Has God made promises about the future? Yes, He has! The Apostle John received a vision from God which he diligently recorded. In verse 3 of chapter 1, God leaves this admonition, “Blessed is the one who reads, and those who hear the words of the prophecy and keep the things which are written in it; for the time is near.” Pastor Chad begins the study of the Book of Revelation in this session. Invite a friend to watch or listen with you, grab a notepad, and be ready to hear from God’s Word.

The Significance of Seven
What do 7 weeks, sixty-two weeks, and 445BC all have in common? It’s been said, if you want to know where Bible prophecy leads keep your eye on Israel. Pastor Chad McDonald will expound on the truths found in Daniel chapter 9 in this message. Understanding this text will completely transform your perspective on Scripture and reveal God’s desire to redeem a people to Himself.

Destruction to Come
Josephus, the noted first century Jewish historian, recorded a unique encounter between Alexander the Great and Jewish high priest, Jaddua, in 332 B.C.. The record states Jaddua provided a briefing from the Book of Daniel to Alexander which had been written several centuries prior. It foretold of Alexander’s victories in battle and also the end of his reign. What are the ram, two horns, a goat, a broken horn, and a little horn from Daniel’s vision in chapter 8, how are they connected, and what do they mean? In this message Pastor Chad will unpack this text and the truth it provides for us today.

Befuddled
Have you ever experienced a situation that left you completely speechless? Did it take days, maybe even weeks to fully process? When Daniel received a vision from God it left him befuddled at the end of one account and he recorded these words, “As for me, Daniel, my thoughts greatly troubled me, and my countenance changed; but I kept the matter in my heart.” Befuddled is to be unable to think clearly, to be confused or greatly perplexed. What was it that Daniel saw that could have affected him to this extent? In this message, Pastor Chad will carefully guide you through Daniel’s vision in Daniel chapter 7 and what it means for you today. Hope Today Found in God’s Plans for Tomorrow
How would life be different today if you knew God’s plans for tomorrow? Is that even possible? In this message, Pastor Chad launches a new series that begins unveiling God’s future plans from the book of Daniel. Remember, as you navigate this life, failure isn’t final, hope is not lost, and God is not done. He has a plan for your past, your present, and future. Watch this video and discover God’s revelation for every nation, tribe, and tongue.

Holding a Grudge?
Some grandmaster chess players can see 10-15 moves ahead during a chess match. For most, seeing what’s right in front of us is difficult enough. By the end of his life in Genesis 50, Joseph came to one final conclusion regarding the mistreatment of his brothers, “You meant evil against me, but God meant it for good.” Joseph knew he didn’t have the final say when others do wrong. God does. While it may be difficult to see beyond what’s in front of us, God is always doing something far more glorious in our midst than we could ever understand or imagine.

GENESIS: 50 - Ready for Your Last Breath?
One thing is certain, every person on the planet will come to a point in life when they breathe their last breath. Will you be ready when that time comes? Are people around you going to feel the ripple impact of Jesus from your life? We don’t know much about the final years of Jacob’s life, but we do know by the response of the Egyptians in his death, he left a mark during those 17 years.

The Battle Belongs to the Lord: Under Attack
Do you believe that spiritual warfare is real? This week we look to the Bible which confirms it is real, and Psalms chapter two helps us understand why there is so much chaos and conflict in our world today. It reminds us that no matter what attempts people make to “dethrone” God, none of it is of any concern to Him. David’s message is both insightful and encouraging. It reminds us that God and His people win in the end.

GENESIS: How are You Living?
Is it even possible to live by the Bible in today’s world? In this week’s message Pastor Chad is teaching from Genesis chapters 46-48. Jacob finds himself moving to the ancient equivalent of Las Vegas, the land of Egypt. God’s word calls believers to live differently, set a part, holy. When our lives represent Christ, our marriages and relationships with others reveal that and are blessed. It’s appealing to those who are watching and without God. So how are you living?
