How Will You Respond?

Jesus told His disciples that people will hate you because they hated Him first. When those around you do not agree with you or like you because of your walk with Jesus, it’s not you they dislike; it’s Jesus Christ and what He stands for. How are we to respond when faced with such difficult opposition? Pastor Chad will answer that question by walking us through Jude 17-23 this week.

It's all for you: Colossians 1:16-29

Do you know someone who needs love and hope? A concept that’s extremely difficult to wrap our minds around is that God literally spoke all things into existence. Equally as hard to grasp is that Jesus, God’s Son, lived, died, and rose from the dead so we can be with Him…forever. God wanted to be with us so much that He’d rather die for us than live without us. Pastor Chad will walk us through the Glorious Gospel found in Colossians 1:16-29 this weekend.

It's Your Choice: 2 Timothy 2:1-4

For some, it’s extremely difficult to believe, there’s one theme that rings loud and clear throughout the Bible. God loves His creation and wants to have a relationship with us. In fact, He went to great lengths to make Himself accessible. He does not force it upon anyone. He didn’t make us robots and demand we love Him (that would not be love). Instead, He allows people to choose to believe, love, and follow His Son Jesus on their own. When we do, a great exchange takes place, forgiveness and grace in the place of sin and selfishness. This weekend, the Glorious Gospel will be shared, invite a friend who is searching for answers and hope.

The Bible tells us these things in advance so we can share this with those who do not know. Speak the name of Jesus this week with someone who has not heard and invite them to church this weekend.

Ever since detective shows hit televisions in 1938, the world has been fascinated with “who done it” mysteries. A critical component to solving any case is having credible eyewitness accounts of the crime. This Easter weekend, Pastor Chad will unpack the depth of truth found in Acts 2:22-36. Bring a friend and pray for a move of God!

Intercessory Prayer: Genesis 18:16-33

One of the most fascinating conversations in Scripture is between Abraham and God over the people of Sodom in Genesis 18:16-33. The dialogue was intense and focused on one thing: those who are about to face the wrath of God. You can sense the intensity and urgency in how Abraham called upon God to extend His grace and mercy. How is your intercessory prayer on behalf of those who are without Christ? Are you heartbroken over those you know who will enter eternity without Jesus? Have you told God about it recently? As we prepare for Easter 2022, Pastor Chad is going to dive into this text and deliver a message every believer needs to hear. It’s clear the time is short, and the prayers of God’s people for the lost, broken and hurting are essential to them coming to faith in Jesus Christ.

Revelation 3:7-13 - Shielded by Jesus

The nation of Israel has in its possession a missile defense system called the Iron Dome. This mobile air defense system protects Israel by intercepting incoming short-range rockets and artillery. They have a range of 2.5 to 43 miles of hitting its target in mid-air. Reports have been released that state the Iron Dome had an 86% effective rate in one Saturday from a bombardment of 690 incoming rockets. In this message, Pastor Chad is teaching from Revelation 3 where Jesus delivers a message to the church in Philadelphia. In this text, Jesus promises the church that He will personally shield them from the hour of trial that others will face. Jesus offers us a full-proof protection more effective than the Iron Dome.
