The nation of Israel has in its possession a missile defense system called the Iron Dome. This mobile air defense system protects Israel by intercepting incoming short-range rockets and artillery. They have a range of 2.5 to 43 miles of hitting its target in mid-air. Reports have been released that state the Iron Dome had an 86% effective rate in one Saturday from a bombardment of 690 incoming rockets. It requires believers to be hyper-focused and engaged in sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ with a hurting world. What if? What if you completely surrendered your life to Jesus’ mission? Almost every month it’s reported that an individual is caught up in the undercurrent of an ocean. Unable to make their way back, they quickly drift further out to sea. Some are rescued by helping hands and sadly others never make it back to shore. Pastor Chad McDonald Revelation 1 June 27, 2021 Exiled and alone on the island of Patmos, John is instructed to write down all that he sees. It had been over 30 years since he last saw Jesus and now John sees Him in all of His glory and falls to the ground like a dead man in His presence. The letter John penned began by addressing the church in the midst of their persecution. John reminds them they were not alone and nor are we.
