Jesus told His disciples that people will hate you because they hated Him first. When those around you do not agree with you or like you because of your walk with Jesus, it’s not you they dislike; it’s Jesus Christ and what He stands for. In Revelation 22:13, Jesus says, ”I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End, the First and the Last.” When all that has been written in Revelation has come to pass, it will be the end of time as we know it, but it will also be the beginning of forever with Jesus our Savior. The Bible tells us these things in advance so we can share this with those who do not know. Speak the name of Jesus this week with someone who has not heard and invite them to church this weekend.

It’s important for parents to speak truth to their kids. Over time, that honesty builds trust and confidence, letting the children know they can believe what their parents say. As Pastor Chad comes to the end of the Book of Revelation, Jesus wants us to know the words contained in the Holy Bible are “faithful and true.” Knowing this, God’s children can trust and believe every word of God will come to pass just as it is written and that truth brings comfort, peace and hope to all who follow Jesus.

As tragedy and chaos run rampant in the world, can you even imagine a time without it? There is hope. Revelation 21:4 says, “God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away.” A time is coming when the old heaven and earth will pass away, and God will create them anew. The nation of Israel has in its possession a missile defense system called the Iron Dome. This mobile air defense system protects Israel by intercepting incoming short-range rockets and artillery. They have a range of 2.5 to 43 miles of hitting its target in mid-air. Reports have been released that state the Iron Dome had an 86% effective rate in one Saturday from a bombardment of 690 incoming rockets.
