This means you can speak to a provider very quickly without having to leave your home if youhave symptoms of COVID-19 and have either tested positive for COVID or you know you havebeen exposed to it. This service is available via telephone, smart phone app, or computer web browser. Once you begin the process, you will answer some questions, and then you will speak with alicensed clinician who will determine whether a COVID-19 medication is right for you.o They will review your health history with you as well as any other medications you maybe on.o Based on your medical history, the other medications you may be taking, and when youstarted having COVID symptoms, they will determine whether a COVID-19 therapeuticmedication is right for you.o If you get a prescription, the provider will send it to the pharmacy of your choice withthe medication in stocko You can also choose to have the medication delivered to your doorstep. Time is of the essence: These medications must be taken within 5 days of having COVIDsymptoms in order to be effective. So use the telehealth services as soon as you can. It is also important to remember that your symptoms do not have to be severe to needtreatment. Mild symptoms can quickly become more severe and result in needing hospital care,so treatment is meant to reduce that risk and is better if you start it earlier when symptoms aremild. There is no ID, residency, citizenship, or other requirement to use this service. You just have tobe in Minnesota. If you are prescribed medication, you will need to either pick it up at apharmacy in MN or have it delivered to an address in MN (does not have to be your homeaddress) This service is available in 11 different languages, including not only English, but also Spanish,Hmong, Somali, Karen, Oromoo, Amharic, Vietnamese, Arabic, Russian, and French.
