Elizabeth Wrigley Field is an Associate Professor at the University of Minnesota in the Department of Sociology in the Minnesota population Center. A socialogist and a demographer, she studies racial inequality in mortality, in the historical contemporary United States, and specializes in finding comparisons and metrics that illuminate the human meaning of mortality disparities. She has extensively research to COVID-19 pandemic in Minnesota. Where she also cofounded an award-winning community vaccination organization. She is also a demographic methodologist, developing models designed to clarify relationships between micro and macro perspectives on population processes. Inaccuracies in counting deaths for covid may have been worse than we were led to believe especially in community of color.

Daren Johnson talks about Extended learning, which involves academic programs outside of the regular school day for students K-12.

While Pearl Moore’s basketball career unfolded far away from the national spotlight, there was no keeping the small-town girl from rural South Carolina out of the record books. The sharpshooting Moore was a scoring machine for Francis Marion College. She notched 4,061 points during her collegiate career, a mark that still stands five decades later. The four-time AIAW Small College All-America averaged over 30 points per game in leading Francis Marion to postseason play for four consecutive years.

Jeremy Miller, Director of Counseling Services and Gear Up joins Freddie Bell and Chantel SinGs. Miller shares details about financial aid covering all tuition and fees at Minnesota's public and postsecondary institutions. It is designed for resident students whose families make under $80,000 per year.

The Arc Minnesota is sharing about a grant program called, Minnesota Inclusion Initiative. (MII) The effort is to make the state more inclusive for people with disabilities. The grant, funded through the Department of Human Services, awards up to $5,000 for projects aimed at improving inclusion.
