Corporal Punishment has been getting major mainstream exposure for his supporting role in Arnold Schwarzenegger's blockbuster PREDATOR and Hercules Harris has been sidelined by a lawsuit in the war between Nigel Davies and Julian Cain, but the NAACP has stepped in on Harris' behalf. Terri Blaze has established herself in the ring, but with so few opportunities to wrestle other ladies, she accepted an offer to be a valet in All-South and she's a natural. At the end of 1983, the 7 major territories collectively known as the World Wrestling Alliance had brought wrestling to its peak. Each kingdom ruling a different territory of the country with their own wrestlers, fans, and shows. And then the patriarch of the Alliance and owner of the New York territory, Jonathan Cain died. His genius, but obsessive and borderline psychotic son Julian Cain took over New York, with a mission to turn the Empire State, into an Empire. A wrestling league that would expand nationwide, obliterating the other 6 territories and re-shaping the sport into a family friendly living cartoon, ruled exclusively by him. The war has raged on for years, forever altering countless lives, and even ending several. As we enter 1987, only 3 Territories remain to oppose Julian Cain. After Hercules Harris reached his breaking point, he finally quit M'Butu Zulu and the EWF, forcing the Empire to scramble for a last minute replacement at Empire-Mania III, which ended up being Killian Kavanagh who got far more over than anyone expected. Vladimir Rykoff defected to the EWF feeling he was being sabotaged by the Booker in the Alliance, but tag partner, and childhood friend, Dmitry isn't sure he should join him. And Nelly Gotch unleashed his frustration at the reveal of his secret half-brother by beating Julian Cain near to death and selling Charlie's AMW to him, wiping his hands clean, while a similarly disenchanted Jesse James quit the WWA after learning Daniel Hawkins' dark secret Kings of the ring is intended for mature audiences. After months of struggling to find or create a main event to fill this stadium, Julian made a deal with the devil, bringing in Goliath to challenge Thor Hansen. But just like in AMW he's caused nothing but problems for the EWF and Thor Hansen and is now demanding $1 million to put Thor over at the show. After Julian Cain had another vision for M'Butu Zulu as a babyface, he split him off from manager Jack Trades, but was steered by Trades to make this angle resemble an African trying to escape slave ownership. When the NAACP got onto this and mounted an enormous press campaign against the EWF, Zulu was sent to the NAACP to shut this down, but instead cracked and spilled his true feelings on the gimmick and EWF's role in the gimmick. Hollywood superagent Daniel Daybreak, after screwing up Thor's chances to co-star in Predator, filmed a TV pilot based around Thor called Superteam USA for syndication, and Michael Angel returned home to Dallas after his drugs overdose that almost killed him and was surprisingly welcomed in by father Burt, who believed he was no longer gay after emerging from death's door. And finally, after months of head to head house show battles, Julian Cain and Charlie Gotch met face to face and ended up fighting, which resulted in Charlie almost killing Julian with a choke, but instead died of a heart attack... all slowly before Julian's eyes, rather than getting help. Jesse James has major heat on him from the Alliance and the fans for the perception that he caused famous comedian Jimmy Buck to commit suicide following his slap on national TV before 25 million viewers. After getting so much heat from Nigel, Arnold, and everyone else for putting Empire-Mania 2 in Milwaukee, Julian Cain boasted that Empire-Mania III would come from a stadium. And after a year of watching all Alliance territories catch fire using the bouncers turned wrestlers from a tiny saloon in the upper Midwest, Julian paid his own visit and may have found the best of the bunch, who was ditched by the others and is looking to make his own mark in the wrestling business.
