Ep 159On Call with Graham Allen
How does The King's Council promote radical generosity within the kingdom economy? Graham Allen is a passionate advocate for holistic personal development within leadership roles, drawing inspiration from secular entrepreneurs and emphasizing the importance of respect and harmony across mental, spiritual, and financial dimensions. His perspective on the king's council mission is deeply rooted in his belief in empowering entrepreneurs, particularly Christians, to embrace the idea of creating wealth to serve the local church and promote radical generosity. This perspective is shaped by his commitment to embodying the principles of Christ in his work environment and leading by example. Allen and his colleagues at the king's council strive to disciple entrepreneurs and help them steward their resources effectively, with the ultimate goal of winning souls for Christ through their actions and teachings. By fostering a culture of generosity within the kingdom economy, The King's Council aims to create a ripple effect of blessings that impact the entire community. There's culture, there's society, there's things that happen, but we are the ones that we're to be like the rock, right? And giving into culture and society. That's where we end up with the woke Christianity, right? Deconstructionism, everything along those lines." - Rylee Meek" - Rylee Meek "A pastor that changes his sermon because he's more afraid of losing a tithe than he is saying what the Lord wants him to say has lost his faith anyway and his faith in the Lord." - Graham Allen" - Graham Allen "We are all in ministry. Ep 158Why Do We Compromise?
Why do Christians often find themselves torn between their beliefs and practical concerns? Ash Meek, a guest on the King's council podcast, is renowned for her insights on relationships, particularly on the topic of compromise. Her perspective, shaped by her own experiences and her marriage to Rylee Meek, is that compromising in relationships is not ideal as it can lead to a lose-lose situation where neither party truly benefits. Instead, she advocates for making intentional decisions to honor each other and resolve issues without compromising standards. Her emphasizes the importance of maintaining excellence in relationships and not accepting standards that are lower than desirable. Ash's belief in calling out compromising behavior in a loving way and being uncompromising in one's own actions as a witness to others, along with her advocacy for prioritizing God above all else, demonstrates her commitment to shared growth and understanding in his relationship. Compromising in relationships requires a careful evaluation of one's values, beliefs, and the dynamics of the relationship. So, he expects us to fast. A lot of us don't do it. And why is that? Even if we know we're supposed to fast as Christians, as the body of Christ, why don't we? And a lot of times we compromise even in the fast, the things we're going to fast from." - Christian Edwards "If we really believe that this is truth, there should be zero compromising in any of our relationships." - Rylee Meek" - Rylee Meek "When Jesus says he hates something, probably pay attention to that, repent, or else I will come to you quickly and I will fight against them with the sword of my mouth." - Christian Edwards "Grace teaches us to deny compromise rather than live comfortably in it." - Christian Edwards "Grace is him giving us the power and the ability to make the right decision. It's through grace that we get to choose to do hard things versus compromising versus like, oh, God is going to forgive me. Sure, that's mercy. He will. But it's by abiding in him and continuing to choose grace, that's what will empower us to actually make the right decisions moving forward." - Rylee Meek" - Rylee Meek "If we do mess up, there's still grace, there's still mercy. If we have a repentant heart, if we turn from that sin, if we confess our sin, if we mourn, and we talked about a little bit the sackcloth and ashes when we fast and what that means, right? It's just that humility of God." - Christian Edwards" - Christian Edwards "If Jesus Christ isn't the most important thing or person in your life, above your wife, above your kids, above anything else, above your job, above money, any fame, notoriety, attention, anything, then you're getting it wrong." - Christian Edwards" - Christian Edwards Join the King’s Council Community: https://joinkingscouncil.com/ Follow King’s Council: https://www.instagram.com/kingscouncilcommunity/ Follow Rylee: https://www.instagram.com/theryleemeek/ Follow Christian: https://www.instagram.com/christian_edwards01/ Subscribe to YouTube page: https://www.youtube.com/@KingsCouncilCoaching Wednesday morning Bible Study link: https://www.kingscouncilbiblestudy.com Get your copy of “The Kingdom Entrepreneur: The 7-Day Blueprint” here: https://www.amazon.com/Kingdom-Entrepreneur-Blueprint-Proven-Template/dp/B0BHY53H23

Ep 157Do I Really Need to Fast?
It's not just about denying food, but setting aside time to seek God. Fasting, a significant practice for Christians and kingdom entrepreneurs, is not just about denying food but setting aside time to seek God. It is a spiritual discipline that fosters growth and a closer relationship with God, and is often associated with significant events and breakthroughs in the Bible. Rylee Meek, initially skeptical about the necessity of fasting in the modern day, has come to view it as an expectation for all believers. He believes that fasting is not just about physical health, but a spiritual practice that can lead to breakthroughs and prepare individuals for ministry. Similarly, Christian Edwards sees fasting as an expectation for Christians, a way to deny the desires of the flesh and to seek spiritual discernment and repentance. He emphasizes the need for a genuine motive behind fasting and shares a personal experience where fasting helped him overcome intense cravings and receive the peace of God. Both Meek and Edwards believe in the transformative power of fasting, seeing it as a means to achieve a greater spiritual goal. By setting aside time to fast, we open ourselves up to hearing the voice of the Holy Spirit and experiencing a deeper relationship with Him. Key Takeaways The Spiritual Significance of Fasting Cellular Reset: Fasting's Health Benefits The Significance of Fasting for Ministry Fasting as a Path to Spiritual Breakthroughs The Power of Fasting for Spiritual Breakthroughs The Power of Fasting for Repentance Deliberate Abstinence for Spiritual Growth Seeking the Lord Through Fasting Quotes "And when they fasted, the Holy Spirit spoke." -Christian Edwards "The whole point of fasting is not about denying food, right? It is about setting aside time to be with the Lord. That's truly what it is about." - Rylee Meek "We may think mentally, emotionally, physically, we're ready for this, but spiritually, are we willing to seek him, spend that time with him so that we can really, truly go the distance here?" - Rylee Meek "And to show grief is to show our heart, really wear our heart on our sleeve...if you haven't shed a tear for just a stranger, for people that you don't know, just because of sin and the effects of sin, it's like you got to check your heart as a Christian." - Christian Edwards "But what God is saying here, you're saying you're fasting, but guess what? You have a lot of crap still in your heart. Again, what's your motive? What's really going on there? You didn't really cry your heart out to me, so you have unrepentant sin in your heart." - Christian Edwards "But certainly, God has heard me. I love it, but certainly God has heard me. He has attended to the voice of my prayer. Bless be God who has not turned away my prayer nor his mercy from me." - Christian Edwards "If you want to level up in any area of your life, you got to be willing to jump through some hoops, catch some planes, some trains, some automobiles. And if that's what you want, then join us." - Rylee Meek Join the King’s Council Community: https://joinkingscouncil.com/ Follow King’s Council: https://www.instagram.com/kingscouncilcommunity/ Follow Rylee: https://www.instagram.com/theryleemeek/ Follow Christian: https://www.instagram.com/christian_edwards01/ Subscribe to YouTube page: https://www.youtube.com/@KingsCouncilCoaching Wednesday morning Bible Study link: https://www.kingscouncilbiblestudy.com Get your copy of “The Kingdom Entrepreneur: The 7-Day Blueprint” here: https://www.amazon.com/Kingdom-Entrepreneur-Blueprint-Proven-Template/dp/B0BHY53H23

Ep 156Three Duties of a Kingdom Entrepreneur
Generosity, forgiveness, and spiritual giving are the key principles in the Bible. In Episode 156 of The King's Council Podcast, hosts Rylee Meek and Christian Edwards delve into the profound biblical principles of radical generosity, forgiveness, and the importance of supporting those who nourish us spiritually. Drawing inspiration from the story of the widow who gave her last two coins, they discuss how true generosity transcends the amount given, highlighting the significance of the heart behind our giving. They explore Jesus's teachings on forgiveness, emphasizing its role as a continuous practice vital for experiencing God's forgiveness. Furthermore, referencing Paul's words in Galatians, the hosts underscore the biblical command to share with those who provide us with spiritual guidance. This episode not only sheds light on these pivotal biblical teachings but also challenges listeners to embody these principles in practical ways, fostering a life that mirrors the love and grace received from God. These principles of generosity, forgiveness, and spiritual giving are not just abstract concepts, but they are practical ways for us to live out our faith. Key Takeaways Practicing Giving, Praying, and Fasting with Jesus The Importance of Giving to Spiritual Nourishers Sacrificial Giving: The Widow's Radical Generosity Navigating the Path to Divine Forgiveness Prioritizing God's kingdom over worldly concerns The Power of Seeking God for Peace The Significance of Fasting in Christianity Quotes "And the three things that Jesus mentions here in the sermon on the mount, chapter six of Matthew, the expectations he mentions when you give, when you pray, when you fast. So it's like, he's like, as a Christian, you should know this. If you're a true follower of me, if I am lord over your life, then I shouldn't have to command you to do this. It's an expectation, right?" - Christian Edwards "And then it really just goes on. It's like, hey, don't be babbling like the pagans, where they're big words, many words. And I love this. It says, do not be like them. For the father knows what you need before you ask him. He already knows what we need, but we're still instructed to ask." -Rylee Meek "But Jesus is addressing here the danger, and it is a real danger that you could cultivate an image of righteousness by your giving. But your motive is wrong, right? That's pretty much the motive is kind of the key word in all this, where Jesus is really examining what our motive is in all that we do, when we give, when we pray, when we fast, but especially when we give." - Christian Edwards "It's almost like I think of anything that we do, our pride and our ego just wells up and we want to tell others about it. I did this, and it makes us look good. And it's almost like, dude, I don't want to tell anybody about anything that we're giving because I want to be rewarded from God, not from man." -Rylee Meek "If you think about it with children, I mean, Ellie's getting to that age where Ellie is absolutely the exception to the rule. So you may never deal with typical teenage stuff with Ellie. Oh, please, God. But if she know. Comes home from school one day and is frustrated and angry or whatever, a lot of times you could get to the root of it, the source of it. It's like what she's showing on the outside or the exterior is because of some sort of hurt. There was some sort of conflict, something that's just weighing on her mind that she's having a hard time processing because she's young, that sort of thing. A lot of times, just having those conversations in the natural and getting those things out, you could come to resolution. They could be remedied. So. imagine getting all that out to God in prayer. If we could have some sort of remedy as a natural father. Imagine God in heaven." - Christian Edwards "And the things of this world slowly start to just fade away. Because the only thing that really truly matters is your relationship. You're being in alignment. And when I think of righteousness, I just always think of being in right alignment. Like when we're seeking righteousness, it's being in right alignment with our creator." -Rylee Meek Join the King’s Council Community: https://joinkingscouncil.com/ Follow King’s Council: https://www.instagram.com/kingscouncilcommunity/ Follow Rylee: https://www.instagram.com/theryleemeek/ Follow Christian: https://www.instagram.com/christian_edwards01/ Subscribe to YouTube page: https://www.youtube.com/@KingsCouncilCoaching Wednesday morning Bible Study: https://www.kingscouncilbiblestudy.com Get your copy of “The Kingdom Entrepreneur: The 7-Day Blueprint” here: https://www.amazon.com/Kingdom-Entrepreneur-Blueprint-Proven-Template/dp/B0BHY53H23

Ep 155Pursuing Sanctification
You've given your life to Jesus, what's next? Sanctification process and spirit-led living in Christianity is a transformative journey that requires full surrender and submission to God. It is a continuous process that impacts relationships and personal growth, often leading to criticism but also inspiring others through personal testimony. Rylee Meek and Christian Edwards, both deeply rooted in their Christian faith, share their unique perspectives on this topic. Meek emphasizes that sanctification is an active pursuit, involving being set apart from the world and sin, and encompassing body, soul, and spirit. He highlights the importance of spending time in the Word of God and growing in the grace and knowledge of Jesus Christ. Edwards, on the other hand, views sanctification as a transformative journey of becoming holy and set apart for God. He stresses the need for individuals to actively pursue God, align their actions, thoughts, and deeds with the teachings of the Bible, and be willing to share the truth with others. Join Rylee Meek and Christian Edwards on this episode of the King's Council Ep 155 podcast as they delve deeper into the sanctification process and spirit-led living in Christianity. Because some people just think, well, that's it, I guess. I'm going to heaven and I'm going to do whatever the heck I want on this earth now. And that's not the case. Definitely not the case. If you've given your life to Christ. The only thing now that matters is." - Rylee Meek "But if we walk in the light as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another in the blood of Jesus, his son purifies us from all sin. We claim to be without sin. We deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us with all unrighteousness." - Rylee Meek "But sing to the Lord. Meditate. Just wake up in the morning and thank him. We talked about that a lot. But there's so many ways to fellowship with God. And guess what? He's not hiding from us. He's there. If we don't feel him, it's because we've grown distant, not because he went anywhere." - Christian Edwards "If we have an opportunity, if we show an unbeliever anything but the love of Christ, man, blood can be on our hands." - Christian Edwards "We have no right to complain about what we tolerate." - Rylee Meek "Sometimes you got to love them in the face." - Rylee Meek Join the King’s Council Community: https://joinkingscouncil.com/ Follow King’s Council: https://www.instagram.com/kingscouncilcommunity/ Follow Rylee: https://www.instagram.com/theryleemeek/ Follow Christian: https://www.instagram.com/christian_edwards01/ Subscribe to YouTube page: https://www.youtube.com/@KingsCouncilCoaching Wednesday morning Bible Study link: www.kingscouncilbiblestudy.com

Ep 154Body, Soul, Spirit
The topic of the works of the flesh versus the fruit of the spirit explores the contrast between two sets of behaviors and qualities. The intriguing topic of exploring symbolism, spirituality, and worship in medicine is one that is often overlooked yet holds profound implications for our understanding of health and wellness. Rylee Meek and Christian Edwards delve into this subject, bringing their unique perspectives to the table. Meek, with his belief in the deep connection between the body, soul, and spirit, emphasizes the importance of what we feed our bodies and minds, and the potential spiritual impact of substances such as drugs and alcohol. He also questions the symbolism used in medicine, suggesting hidden spiritual meanings. Edwards, on the other hand, also explores the potential spiritual impact of substances, and the symbolism in medicine, but places a strong emphasis on the importance of feeding the spirit rather than the flesh, and the transformative power of encountering God through worship. Both Meek and Edwards view medicine and spirituality as interconnected and stress the importance of being mindful of the spiritual implications of medical practices. Join Rylee Meek and Christian Edwards as they delve deeper into this fascinating topic on this episode of the King's Council Ep 154 podcast. Worship in its truest form is any act that closes the gap between the heart and the object in which the heart adores. Key Takeaways · The Enigmatic Symbolism of Medical Icons · The Dynamics of Body, Soul, and Spirit · Contrasting Behaviors: Flesh vs. Spirit · The Transformative Power of Holy Spirit's Conviction · The Deeper Connection: Exploring True Worship · Pursuing Holiness and Experiencing God's Presence Quotes "We're just going to take a little bit of time today and talk about the difference between the body, the soul and the spirit." - Rylee Meek "What's remarkable to me is that it may not be a sin of what you're doing or what you're watching, what you're eating, like, what you're taking into your vessel may not be a sin, but it could be damaging to the soul nonetheless." - Christian Edwards "But if you are led by the spirit, you are not under the law. So your soul's eternal destiny will be determined by this right here. As your spirit and your flesh are warring against one another, where is your soul going to go? Which one's going to win out? Your spirit one's out, it's heaven. If your flesh one's out, it's unfortunately going to be hell." - Christian Edwards "God's will for us. In multiple times that I've now seen this in scripture. It's so funny when I've not that long ago, I've been thinking about this. And then I see this in a couple of different places. And I'm like, snapping the screens, capturing on my phone. I'm sending it to ash and she's like, yeah, I did like a whole paper and teaching on this, Riley. Yeah. No, man, that's good. But it is, as we mentioned, it's sanctification. Sometimes it's like, what does that actually mean? It means to be set apart. To pursue holiness, pursue righteousness. And we're going to dive into that here." - Rylee Meek Join the King’s Council Community: https://joinkingscouncil.com/ Follow King’s Council: https://www.instagram.com/kingscouncilcommunity/ Follow Rylee: https://www.instagram.com/theryleemeek/ Follow Christian: https://www.instagram.com/christian_edwards01/ Subscribe to YouTube page: https://www.youtube.com/@KingsCouncilCoaching Wednesday morning Bible Study link: www.kingscouncilbiblestudy.com

Ep 153Entering God's Rest
The greatest invitation on earth is the one mentioned by Jesus. Come to me, all who labor and are heavy burdened and I will give you rest. The King's Council Podcast, hosted by Rylee Meek and Christian Edwards, offers a unique platform for exploring Christian living and faith. Rylee Meek views this exploration as a transformative journey, emphasizing the importance of delving into scripture and fostering a deep connection with the spirit of God. He believes that this process can lead to a profound sense of peace and joy. On the other hand, Christian Edwards underscores the significance of remembering and reflecting on one's relationship with God. He advocates for the importance of recalling God's miracles and testimonies, spending time in prayer, and fostering a deep, personal connection with God as the foundation for Christian living and faith. Join Rylee Meek and Christian Edwards on this enlightening journey of faith and discovery in the next episode of the King's Council Ep 153 podcast. There's a peace that stands all understanding. You can't even comprehend what it is actually like to be able to have that rest. Key Takeaways: Text "Rest" to (727)472-3860 Rest and the Kingdom of Heaven The Giants and Nephilim of the Promised Land The Guiding Truth for a Fulfilling Life The Power of Faith in Action Finding Peace Amidst Life's Uncertainties Transformative Power of Discipline and Obedience Exploring the profound connection between body, soul, and spirit Quotes: "Within the King's council, we operate on the God given blueprint of creation, which is just so epic. If you haven't actually checked that out yet, make sure you get our. We have a cheat sheet on this, which literally is just the first chapter and the first verse of chapter two of Genesis, which is just creation. It's like we want to follow the template, the blueprint that God has given us on how to create anything, whether it's a great business or a great relationship, just a great life in general. Why in the world wouldn't we follow this blueprint of structure and order that." - Rylee Meek "The word of God, I mean, this is our baseline for everything... This should be our worldview, a biblical worldview. And it's not like I'm biased because, oh, I'm a Christian. I fell for this religion. So I'm going to promote this book. This is it. I chose this because this is the one and only truth." - Christian Edwards "For if Joshua had given them rest, then he would not afterward have spoken of another day. There remains, therefore, a rest for the people of God, for he who has entered his rest has himself also ceased from his works, as God did from his. Now you'll understand that a little more when you say, let us therefore be diligent to enter that rest, lest anyone fall according to the same example of disobedience. So God is saying here, the writer of Hebrews is saying, be diligent. Some translations say, labor, work. So work at entering his rest. And as it says in the verse before, it says, once you're done with that work, you could rest because it is finished, right? The work is done. So what in the heck does this mean that I have to work, I have to labor, I have to grind to find rest? What does that mean?" - Christian Edwards "There's a peace that stands all understanding. You can't even comprehend what it is actually like to be able to have that rest." - Rylee Meek "I didn't know this thing existed here on this earth. It was just a peace where my life is in complete turmoil. Everything mentally, emotionally, physically, spiritually, everything in turmoil. And then there's just this peace. Like, wait a second. Am I high right now? Did I take a new drug that gave me this type of high? And that peace is something that there is no drug and matter of fact, no drug, no drink, no person. There's no idol of this world that could satisfy, that could fulfill the way Jesus does. Him and his peace. Man." - Christian Edwards Join the King’s Council Community: https://joinkingscouncil.com/. Ep 152Taming the Tongue
God created everything by speaking it into existence. The exploration of the impact and control of speech in spiritual growth is a fascinating journey, revealing the profound power our words hold. Rylee Meek, a firm believer in the transformative power of speech, emphasizes the importance of intentional and positive communication. He suggests that our words, when spoken with understanding, can change our lives and influence future generations. Christian Edwards, on the other hand, views speech as a crucial element in spiritual growth, linking our words to the thoughts and intentions of our hearts. He advocates for a mindful approach to speech, encouraging us to pause, ponder, and pray before speaking, especially in moments of negativity. Both Meek and Edwards' perspectives are shaped by their deep faith and commitment to living a Christlike life. Join Rylee Meek and Christian Edwards as they delve deeper into this topic on the King's Council Ep 152 podcast. We can start to grasp a little bit of the power that all of us have by either choosing life or death. And it starts and begins, and I would say even ends with the words that we speak, whether it's about somebody or over somebody. Key Takeaways: -Learn about the transformative potential of our Words -Explore the negative impact of complaining about our lives -Delve into the power of mindful word choices -Explore the transformative power of God's intervention Quotes: "We have no right to complain about what we tolerate in our life." - Rylee Meek "But James kind of tees up the taming of our tongue with this by saying, listen, we're not just going to watch what we say for the sake of it. Know those words coming out into the atmosphere, because if they're still in the heart, then they're still doing damage, right? So he says essentially with this, to be quick to listen, slow to speak, slow to anger. He's saying, listen, pause, ponder and pray, right? Pause, ponder and pray." - Christian Edwards "Answering softly and gently turns away wrath, but harsh and becoming defensive or even becoming offended in a situation which makes you defensive now you're just button up against each other, and it is not going to be fruitful in the long run." - Rylee Meek "If you've given your life to Christ, if you're a business owner, an entrepreneur, you're listening to this. The rest of everything that you do, if you've committed to Christ, everything else, everything else is sanctification." - Rylee Meek Join the King’s Council Community: https://joinkingscouncil.com/ Follow King’s Council: https://www.instagram.com/kingscouncilcommunity/ Follow Rylee: https://www.instagram.com/theryleemeek/ Follow Christian: https://www.instagram.com/christian_edwards01/ Subscribe to YouTube page: https://www.youtube.com/@KingsCouncilCoaching Wednesday morning Bible Study link: www.kingscouncilbiblestudy.com Get your copy of “The Kingdom Entrepreneur: The 7 Day Blueprint” here: https://www.amazon.com/Kingdom-Entrepreneur-Blueprint-Proven-Template/dp/B0BHY53H23

He spoke things into existence. And that right there should tell us enough." - Rylee Meek "The reality is, there is energy, there is power of life, there is power of death in our tongue." - Christian Edwards "For as he thinks in his heart, so he is." - Proverbs 23:7" - Rylee Meek "The favor of God just chases me down. Ep 149The State of the Church with Pastor Kevin Jones
Boldness and courage are essential qualities for pastors and the church to possess to stand up for truth and righteousness, even when faced with opposition. In this episode, Rylee Meek and Christian Edwards are joined by Kevin Jones, the lead pastor of Summit Church in Elkins, West Virginia. Listen as they delve into the crucial aspects of church leadership. The discussion revolves around the importance of accountability, boldness, and addressing controversial issues within the church community. Kevin's perspective on church leadership emphasizes accountability, boldness, and addressing controversial issues. He believes that church leaders have a responsibility to stand up for what is morally right and to lead their flock in accordance with biblical truth. Kevin criticizes pastors who shy away from addressing political issues or taking a stance on moral matters, stating that their silence is an endorsement of the wrongdoings happening in society. He encourages pastors and church leaders to wake up, take a stand, and fulfill their calling to be overcomers rather than overlookers, believing that although taking a stand may come at a cost, the reward is far greater and that obedience to God's calling is essential. Community and accountability are crucial within the church. Key takeaways: The Power of Community and Accountability in the Church Embracing Boldness and Courage in the Church Unraveling the Mysteries of Revelation and the End Times The Critical Role of Pastoral Accountability The Danger of Living in the Gray Area Quotes: "If the good Samaritan only had good intentions, nobody would even know who he was. He wouldn't even made the book of the Bible." - Rylee Meek "Silence is tacit compliance. Your silence is your endorsement of the thing that you're choosing, making the decision to be silent about, it's your consent in what is happening, and that's unacceptable. It's just unacceptable right now." - Kevin Jones "We have to always be ready and never get ready. Always be ready. So you don't have to get ready." - Christian Edwards "What got you to where you are right now? Maybe you're a church of 100 people and you're at 100 people and you've been there for ten years. What got you there is not going to get you where God wants you to go." - Kevin Jones - Join the King’s Council Community: https://joinkingscouncil.com/ Follow King’s Council: https://www.instagram.com/kingscouncilcommunity/ Follow Rylee: https://www.instagram.com/theryleemeek/ Follow Christian: https://www.instagram.com/christian_edwards01/ Subscribe to YouTube page: https://www.youtube.com/@KingsCouncilCoaching Wednesday morning Bible Study link: www.kingscouncilbiblestudy.com Get your copy of “The Kingdom Entrepreneur: The 7-Day Blueprint” here: https://www.amazon.com/Kingdom-Entrepreneur-Blueprint-Proven-Template/dp/B0BHY53H23

Ep 148What Does It Mean to Be A Disciple?
How can the principles of discipleship profoundly influence and enrich your journey as an entrepreneur and person of faith? The intriguing topic of "kingdom economy and Christian entrepreneurship" is the focus of a riveting discussion between Rylee Meek and Christian Edwards. Rylee Meek, a firm believer in the power of co-creation with God, emphasizes the responsibility of Christian entrepreneurs to utilize their gifts and potential fully, integrating kingdom culture into their businesses. Christian Edwards, on the other hand, underscores the accountability of entrepreneurs in the United States, urging them to contribute to the kingdom economy and put Christ first in all aspects of life. Reflect on the powerful role of discipleship in shaping your entrepreneurial spirit and personal growth, merging the paths of faith and business. Key takeaways: Discover How to Fuse Faith with Business Learn the Art of Co-Creation with God Master the Essentials of Christian Discipleship Make Business Decisions with Kingdom Impact in Mind Quotes: "If you're an entrepreneur and you love Jesus, there's so much more that needs to be done. The work is just the beginning. Right? I mean, what are we doing here, dude?" - Rylee Meek "And if evangelism was all that we were supposed to do, then why would we build business? Why would we do anything else, right? But that's not the case. Salvation is just the beginning. This is like, we get into the door, and now we get to operate within the kingdom, right? Because Jesus." - Rylee Meek "It's remarkable how easy it is to depend on God when God is all that you have." - Christian Edwards "If you're just bearing itty bitty fruit or just sparingly bearing fruit, are you not even the disciple? Because it says so, you'll be my disciples. If the Father is glorified and you're bearing a bunch fruit, and I think the two go in the same, if you're bearing much fruit, then God's going to be glorified because I don't think he's going to bless you, allow you to bear that fruit." - Christian Edwards - Join the King’s Council Community: https://joinkingscouncil.com/ Follow King’s Council: https://www.instagram.com/kingscouncilcommunity/ Follow Rylee: https://www.instagram.com/theryleemeek/ Follow Christian: https://www.instagram.com/christian_edwards01/ Subscribe to YouTube page: https://www.youtube.com/@KingsCouncilCoaching Wednesday morning Bible Study link: www.kingscouncilbiblestudy.com Get your copy of “The Kingdom Entrepreneur: The 7-Day Blueprint” here: https://www.amazon.com/Kingdom-Entrepreneur-Blueprint-Proven-Template/dp/B0BHY53H23

Can I love Jesus with my heart, soul, mind and strength and still go crush business?" - Rylee Meek "It is incredibly expensive to be the Christian that Jesus literally, Jesus, has told us to be. Ep 127Do You Really Fear God?
It is crucial to prioritize and actively seek God in order to prevent drifting away from Him. Rylee Meek and Christian Edwards discussed the importance of having a healthy reverence and awe of God, which is often overlooked in the church. 40 million Christians have walked away from the faith in the past few years, and the conversation was sparked by a series and book by John Bevier called The Awe of God. They discussed the difference between the fear of the Lord, being timid and scared, and the importance of reading the Bible to understand the original words. They encouraged listeners to look inwardly and ask themselves if they are obedient to God, even in the small things, and to join their community for free Bible studies and resources. They also discussed the importance of teaching their three-year-old son to revere God and prioritize Him in his life. Investing time and effort into developing a relationship with God, obeying His commands, and being part of a community of believers can lead to a fulfilling Christian life characterized by awe, reverence, and purpose. Key takeaways: The Church is missing a healthy reverence and awe of God, leading to a significant number of Christians walking away from the faith. Fear of God should be understood as a healthy respect and awe, not as being scared of Him. There is a lack of discipleship and community involvement among Christians, resulting in many fearing the devil more than God. Parents should guide their children to have a healthy love and respect for their heavenly Father while also being respected as earthly parents. Humility, experiential knowledge of the Lord, and encountering God are emphasized as key factors in truly fearing and loving Him. Quotes: "The problem with the church today is a lack of fear. There's no fear... I talk about the church body. And whenever I make a statement like that, I'm always internally looking at myself when I make such statements because I never want to be the guy to say, hey, that's that guy's problem over there." - Christian Edwards "Let's understand maybe even that the definition of that type of fear is different than what's oftentimes referenced... It's more of a reverence and awe type of fear versus being timid and scared." - Rylee Meek "Our Christian walk is different when we have a healthy reverence and awe of God, the way the Bible actually commands us and requires us to have." - Christian Edwards "If I'm not feeling the presence of God in my life, it's not because he drifted or he went anywhere. It's because I drifted. And when we drift every day, we're either getting closer to God or further away from Him." - Christian Edwards "Most people fear the devil more than they fear God... Our God could destroy the devil in a second, yet we walk around more fearful of the devil, the enemy, than we are of our actual creator of all things." - Rylee Meek Check the DNA Blueprint, visit: https://kingscouncilcommunity.org/ Text “King” to 727-472-3860 and join the community! - The King’s Council’s mission is to help you discover and deploy your God-given talents. Ep 126How To Win Your Race
You are capable of more than you think. In this episode, Rylee Meek and Christian Edwards reunite in Minnesota for a lively conversation. They discuss their experiences during the Minnesota summer and the beautiful backdrop of the podcast recording. With a time limit set, they dive into various topics, including their reflections on what God has been doing in their lives. Tune in to catch up with these two friends and hear about their latest adventures. The message is clear: focus on the mark and don't get overwhelmed with the task at hand. Key takeaways: Paul's Book of Philippians, written while he was in prison, teaches the importance of rejoicing in any circumstance and focusing on small marks and daily disciplines to reach the ultimate goal. Why focusing on the mark, avoiding self-doubt, and realizing one's potential is crucial. How the power of community and collaboration can help us achieve seemingly impossible goals. Taking a break from work and responsibilities should be approached cautiously, as there is a calling to fulfill once someone is saved. Ep 116Is Jesus Your Life Coach or Your Lord?
Are you tired of seeing the American Church focused on life coaching and missing the foundational aspect of Jesus being Lord? In this episode, Rylee Meek explores the idea of Christians seeking Jesus as a life coach rather than their lord and questions the effectiveness of life coaches in general. Meek draws a parallel between making disciples and coaching, and how the American Church's focus on success may be misaligned with Scripture. Meek's revelation leads to a discussion of the importance of Jesus being Lord and Savior and how being a believer means committing to a life of righteousness and understanding that Jesus cannot be our savior if he is not Lord. In that discussion, Meek does not shy away from calling out churches he believes are tolerating bad behavior like celebrating homosexuality and sexual immorality. Look to Jesus as their Lord and Savior rather than just a life coach and to build their faith through hearing the word of God. Key takeaways: Focus on discipleship instead of just evangelism Look for guidance from Christian leaders who have a track record of producing good fruit in their own lives Remember that success in the American church isn't always a true measure of success according to Scripture Focus on becoming more righteous every day Build meaningful relationships with other Christians Prioritize your relationship with Jesus. Quotes: "Is Jesus your lord or is he your life coach? Because if he is not lord of all, he is not lord at all." - Rylee Meek "I don't believe he can be your savior if he is not lord of your life and this is the missing component, guys." - Rylee Meek "The problem is that he is not lord of our life and we're not taking a look at scripture and understanding if we believe that scripture, the word of God, the living breathing word of God is truth, is the actual truth that it's the infallible word of God." - Rylee Meek "The original intent of the rainbow itself was a covenant that God made with us." - Rylee Meek Check the DNA Blueprint, visit: https://kingscouncilcommunity.org/ Text “King” to 727-472-3860 and join the community! - The King’s Council’s mission is to help you discover and deploy your God-given talents.
