WWYD: my mother-in-law is obsessed with my partner

QUESTION #1: My partner has a very physical demanding job. I have a very mentally demanding job. Neither of us love cooking. What should we do? 

QUESTION #2: I’m about to move out with my partner and my mother-in-law (his mum) is making a few too many jokes about how much time she’ll spend at our house. What would you do?
