She helps parents navigate concerns such as mouth breathing, teeth crowding, sleep challenges, speech clarity, and orthodontic concerns Brittany’s approach focuses on identifying root causes and supporting proper growth and function through practical, family-centered strategies that fit into everyday life.

-For new parents especially, there can be a lot of pressure around oral ties- can you tell our listeners what oral ties are?
- Are there variations in severity? Or does having one or more than one automatically mean an intervention is needed?
- Some parents experience pressure to have any and all ties released- what are the other options/alternatives for parents who don’t wish to cut the baby, or who want to try other things first?
- How big of a problem are they actually? In the short and long term?
- How invasive is it to get a proper release done - and what is a proper release?
- What might the rehab look like or require bandwidth wise from parents?
- When are releases actually needed
- Body work and tongue ties - what is the relationship and what’s your experience/opinion with this?
- Opening the door for what other signs or symptoms might we see that could be correlated - mouth breathing / mouth being open during sleep / tongue seal or lack thereof) / difficulty breastfeeding - either latch issues, or getting too much air etc.
- What could be some of the short and long term issues one could expect if mouth breathing and overall oral function isn’t addressed?
- Are these issues specific to infants?
