This episode we welcome Ansley Knopf, passionate trainer and health coach, founder and owner of Train & Flourish/Garage MILFS. We chat about what fitness means in the early years of motherhood, the reasons why moms choose to focus on their health and fitness and how that differs from before they had kids, body image and how we talk about ourselves and how we teach our kids to love their bodies, lifting safely, where to get started and more! Meet Ansley:

Ansley is a passionate trainer and health coach whose career as a health and fitness professional began as a dream job when she was 12. Fascinated by kinesiology, health science and nutrition, she made that dream a reality in 2014. As a military spouse, she’s utilized her skills and talents around the world and working with clients globally, in Japan, Australia, Germany, South Korea and across the United States. Now in the CSRA area, she brings her expertise with weight loss, body recomposition, prenatal, postnatal, women’s fitness, and therapeutic programming to women all over the world with her practical and compassionate training via online and in-person coaching. Now as a mom of a toddler and with some more recent health diagnosis and challenges, she has been navigating life and what fitness looks like after becoming a mom and managing auto-immune disorders. Women’s health and encouraging women remains a passion and priority for her even though she has currently scaled back her coaching during this season.
