Most people think of Jews as white and European, the product of a diaspora from Israel thousands of years ago. But Jews were scattered to the four corners of the world and are among the most multi-ethnic people. Rabbi Mordechai Yosef Ben-Avraham is not just a black Jew, but a Jew by choice, and an Orthodox rabbi. His worldview and experiences are unique, and he shares these openly and with an eye on history, and where he’s come from.
