On March 21, 1979, 18-year-old Carol Lannen was found tied up and nude in the Templeton Woods in Dundee, Scotland. She had been strangled to death. Almost exactly a year later, on February 26, 1980, the partially nude body of 20-year-old Elizabeth McCabe was found less than 150 yards away from where Carol had been discovered. Elizabeth had also been strangled to death. Are these murders connected? Police have officially said no, but with all the similarities many others believe yes, they are. Matthew Rattlesnake Grant's body was found on the evening of December 31, 2016, in an alley between the College Homes and South Glacier Homes neighborhoods on the Blackfeet Nation Reservation in Browning, Montana. Beth had been having an affair with Fergus Cameron, a well-known member of the community who was married to a woman named Vivienne. Vivienne Cameron is Beth’s alleged killer, but she went missing after the murder and still has never been seen or heard from again… and some of the evidence doesn’t add up. On June 6th, 1985, 3-year-old Alisha Smiley went missing. She had been sitting on a bench outside the Omni International Hotel in Atlanta, Georgia. Alisha is a black female with brown eyes and dark brown or black hair (which was braided and tied with lilac-colored ribbons). At the time of her disappearance, Alisha stood 3 feet tall and weighed about 30 pounds. She had her ears pierced and a little gap between her lower front teeth. Alisha was last seen wearing a red and white checkered sundress, white sandals with silver buttons, and gold earrings. She was last seen wearing a blue ski jacket with a white stripe down the center, dark blue jeans and white sneakers. Elyssa would also answer to her nicknames Lee Lee or Lisa. On September 30, 2020, Sydney West went missing from San Francisco, CA. She was last seen at approximately 6:45 a.m. entering the Golden Gate Bridge. At the time of her disappearance Sydney was 19 years old, 5'10, 130 lbs. with light brown hair and blue eyes. 19 year old Cheryl Anne Scherer went missing from the Rhodes Pump-Ur-Own-Service Station in Scott City Missouri on April 17, 1979. An off-duty attendant who was at the service station described seeing Cheryl there working around 11:30 am. The attendant left and when she returned, Cheryl had vanished. Cheryl's car was still parked outside and her purse had also been left behind the service station counter. Soon it was discovered that $480 was missing from the cash register. To this day, Cheryl's case remains unsolved. Is she still alive or did someone do the unthinkable? Investigators continue to work on Cheryl's case and hopefully one day soon Cheryl and her family will get some answers and have closure. Lauria Jaylene Bible and Ashley Renae Freeman disappeared between the evening of December 29 and the early morning hours of December 30, 1999, from Ashley's home in Welch, Oklahoma after a fire burnt the Freeman home to the ground. It's been 23 years and Ashley and Lauria have never been seen or heard from again. Despite her former foster mom raising many red flags, she remained with Andrew Carlson and Jordan Bowers. She has not been seen since February 2021, and no one knows where she is.
