So often our conversations with God are almost entirely petition and very little praise. As Pastor JD points out in today’s message, throughout Psalm 119 very little is requested of God. It is primarily a song of praise. You should make a point to do that in your own prayer life. Set aside time to simply praise God and thank Him for all He’s done.

This life can throw some pretty hard curveballs. You will easily find yourself overwhelmed when you try to face the world, your flesh, and Satan on your own. Wars, rumors of wars, and natural disasters! Lately it seems these are all we hear about in the news on a regular basis. For the typical believer, these are nothing more than a reminder that our true home is with Christ. However, the more complacent we are in the world, the less we see these signs as such. For many of us, our natural reaction is to perk up our end times ears in anticipation of the anti-christ. The Word of the Lord gives you hope. When storms of life come, remember that He is victorious. He is the all-powerful and almighty God who is capable of calming storms with a single breath. With every day that passes as we wait for Christ’s return, it’s easy to get comfortable in this place, and your focus shifts from watching the horizon to all the temporary things of this life. As Pastor JD warns in today’s message, that’s exactly what our enemy wants. Christ’s return grows more and more imminent every day, and it’s crucial that you are ready and waiting.

When you are called by God, it is important to remember the word that He gave you. When the enemy stands at the door and knocks, trying to push you off course, remember the Lord. Being in the Word of God leads you to a pure life and away from sin. In today’s message, Pastor JD cautions you that sin keeps you from the Bible. When you are living a life apart from God, it is harder to recognize that you need Him in your life. Where are you getting your contentment and fulfillment? If not from God, then turn back to the Bible.

One of the most amazing aspects of our faith is that when we accept Christ, our body becomes a temple for The Holy Spirit. On the other hand, this should be quite the sobering reality when it comes to the choices we make. As Pastor JD will teach you in his message today, whatever we subject our mind and body to, we likewise subject The Spirit.

Many of us find it unthinkable that Israel was supposed to be a blessing to the nations, yet they looked down upon gentiles. On the other hand, how many of us have been guilty of looking down upon non believers? In today's message, Pastor JD will remind you that as believers, we're not to condemn the lost, but to reach out to them in love.

Pastor JD concludes his prophecy update today by explaining how Jesus came to pay your debt. It’s as if you were in court accused of a crime, which you were, in fact guilty of. When the judge announced the guilty verdict, Jesus walked in. Fully God and fully man. He voluntarily took on your punishment and you were free to go. He will be your Savior and Lord if you accept this gift.

Today’s prophecy update concerns the spirit of fear. As Christians, we are told very clearly in the Bible that we are not given over to a spirit of fear. However, Pastor JD points out that in the end times people will be fearful. And this is what we see in our world today. One of Satan’s weapons is fear. Do not be fearful. Turn to the Lord and be eager for His return.
