Today, Pastor JD reminds us that slander is an abomination to the Lord. Your idle talk, disparaging a brother or sister is ranked right up there with murder, in the eyes of God. When you destroy the character of someone, in your hatred, you are, in fact, according to Jesus, guilty of murder!

The Bible is full of truths that we can grab onto in our time of need. God speaks to us through His Word. One promise Pastor JD reminds us of today is that nothing can come against us when we know Jesus. He is our defender, our Rock, and our protector. Stand firm in Jesus and you will be victorious.

God’s thoughts are not our thoughts and God’s timing is not our timing. This should be so encouraging to us. He is far greater, immensely more capable, and infinitely more knowledgeable than we are. Pastor JD reminds us today to dwell on these truths, as things in our world begin to unravel. Do not fear. God is in control!

If you’re listening to Pastor JD today, the most important thing he wants to get across to you is that Jesus’ return is very near. You have no more time to ponder a relationship with Him. It’s now or never. Today is the day to answer the most important question of your life for eternal life: Do you choose Jesus?

All throughout the Bible, we're told that judgment is coming upon an unbelieving Christ-rejecting world. Today, Pastor JD warns you, that you're responsible for the Truth of the Gospel, which saves people from judgment. Why wouldn't you warn those that you love, and tell them about Jesus who can save them?

The Apostle Paul writes that this world is passing away, and the lust of it, but he who does the will of God abides forever. Today, Pastor JD reminds us, not to become too heavily invested in the things of the world, because they can keep us from the expectant joy of the return of Christ, and the glory that awaits us.

Today, Pastor JD says, that if you feast on the Truth, supplied by the Spirit you won't crave the things of the flesh. Nothing can satisfy you, and nourish you, like spiritual food from God. And the table of the LORD is always full, and you have a seat at His wonderful feast, every minute of every day.

As always, Pastor JD ends today’s update with the “A, B, C’s” of salvation. This is a tool to show how easy it is to come into a saving relationship with Jesus Christ. ‘A’ is for acknowledge you’re a sinner. ‘B’ is for believe Jesus Christ is Lord. And ‘C’ is for call upon His name. Follow the A, B, C’s today and be saved!

Today, Pastor JD continues to encourage us with the promise that Jesus’ return is coming soon. He believes that the pandemic will end with the Rapture of the church followed by the Great Tribulation. Believers in Christ need not fear. We’ll be taken up in the air when Jesus sounds His trumpet. What a day that will be!

Pastor JD has been giving prophecy updates for over 20 years. But in recent months, the gravity of these updates has increased. End time events are happening quickly and in today’s update, Pastor JD gives what he believes is irrefutable evidence that the antichrist is already on the scene. Jesus is on the doorstep!

When we stop to think about the phrase, “actions speak louder than words,” we can conclude that this isn’t necessarily true related to your walk with Jesus. In today’s message, Pastor JD encourages us to also use our words. People need to know why we live the way we do and be able choose Jesus for themselves.

Young Christians learn to live a life worthy of the calling of Jesus Christ by following the example set by older Christians. Are you one of these older Christians? That’s a convicting question, isn’t it? But, as Pastor JD teaches through Titus, we’ll see that the Holy Spirit pulled no punches. We need to be an example worth following. Period.

Christians are here to draw other people into a saving relationship with Jesus Christ. It’s a tall order, but something Jesus calls us to. “Go make disciples of all nations” and “they will know you are Christians by your love.” Such verses, as well as Pastor JD, remind us today that people need to see Jesus through you.

Jesus Christ came to earth as a baby, lived a sinless life, shared the Good News of salvation, and became the spotless sacrificial lamb. He died on the cross to save you! In today’s update, Pastor JD reminds us that Jesus paid it all. You owe nothing. When you believe in Him as Lord, you’re saved for all eternity. Period!

Pastor JD is aware that many of his updates in recent weeks and months have felt heavy and intense to the listener. So, in today’s update, he takes a minute to regroup, ask the Holy Spirit to comfort us, and fill us with renewed faith and bravery. All we can do in these tumultuous times is turn to the Lord and stand strong!

In today’s prophecy update, Pastor JD discusses how the “handwriting is on the wall” concerning Jesus’ imminent return. All current events related to the COVID pandemic, global political events, weather-related disasters, and more were prophesied in the book of Revelation. Nothing is a surprise to God. His plan is underway.

Your relationships with the people you love take work. To give 100%, you need to do such things as examine yourself for stubbornness, work on your patience, and ask for forgiveness. As Pastor JD reminds us today, it should be no different in your relationship with your Savior. He wants your whole heart and your 100%.

Jesus’ famous words on the cross were, “It is finished.” Your Lord took His last breath to save you. So, Pastor JD pleads with you today to avoid legalism in your relationship with Jesus. There’s nothing you owe Him, nothing He wants from you, and nothing you can do to earn your own salvation. It is finished!

You may have heard the expression, “Ignorance is bliss.” This statement is true when we’re trying to avoid consequences from our actions. We can just say, “Well, I didn’t know.” But today, Pastor JD encourages you to search your heart for signs of deception. Deceit by the enemy is one area you need to identify asap.

We often have a hard time speaking truth. Whether it’s fear of hurting someone, or fear of being disliked that keeps us from it, we need to reassess. Pastor JD reminds us today how hard it can be to say the things that no one wants to hear, but it’s God's truth! And it needs to be said. Don’t turn away when the listening gets tough.

People who are creative like to believe they come up with new things, but the reality is, there’s nothing new under the sun. But we find ways to be different. Satan, however, is 100% a counterfeiter. Pastor JD reminds us today, He cannot create – only manipulate and destroy. Be encouraged that we have the Creator on our side.

We all do things without thinking. But what if we didn’t? Today, Pastor JD reminds us that God allows nothing unless it’s part of His plan. So, on the other side of that, everything that happens has gone through God’s filter. Don’t be discouraged with the state of our world – it’s a sad state – but God is in total control.

Pastor JD will wrap up this checklist in Titus as he continues to ask the question today, are our affairs in order? Our motives, attitudes, and actions will give us clues for where we are falling short in this list, but by God's grace, HE will complete the work that He has started in us.
