There’s been a lot on the airwaves lately about Artificial Intelligence. Depending on your perspective, you may find it scary, confusing, or intriguing - or maybe all of those things. We want so badly to cancel out any need or place for God in our universe. This desire traces directly back to our ancestors, Adam and Eve. Have you ever found yourself bitter? You could be bitter at a person or a situation, but the bitterness is a seed that will grow into something ugly. The life of a believer is one that requires sacrifice on a daily basis. That can look different from person to person, but it’s unavoidable when following Jesus. That love isn’t okay with just watching them continue in behaviors that are destructive and unhealthy. God, being a perfect and loving Heavenly Father will discipline you if you’re His Child because He loves you.

In the immaturity of youth, it’s hard to understand a parent’s discipline. If they really love you, how could they say those things? Or worse… administer painful consequences? As Pastor JD will remind us in today’s message, God, in His perfection, is not okay with leaving His children in their destructive ways.

If you never face challenges in life, you’ll never grow. As Pastor JD will remind you in today’s message, as hard as it can be in the middle of a trial, on the other side, when God faithfully brings you through it, that success brings hope and confidence that He’ll continue to bring you through any new trial you face.

Yes – there are people who are against those who believe and follow Jesus. But – truth be told, Satan’s the real enemy. The people you meet are an opportunity to share the Gospel – the truth!

The enemy of faith is out to steal, kill, and destroy – but he’s not always obvious about it. In fact, it’s often he flies right under the radar. Pastor JD will be reminding you today to be on guard, stay alert – do not let deception and confusion sneak into your life. Test what you hear against the Word, and against the truth!

The gift of salvation feels too good to be true. God really would forgive us when we simply place our trust in Him to do it. There has to be more to it, right? We all desire prosperity. Nobody wants to deal with adversity when they could flourish instead! But today, Pastor JD argues that prosperity is actually worse because when we thrive, we learn to rely on ourselves…and we are not reliable. It’s through times of adversity that we learn to rely on the One who can’t let us down: Jesus Christ.

To make a mountain out of a molehill is an idiom that means to take something that’s nothing and make a big to-do out of it. So what if we flip that on its head? In today’s update, Pastor JD warns us that unfortunately, many have been making the mountain of Bible prophecy and claiming it’s only a molehill.

As humans, we’re so quick to forget some of the hard times we’ve been through. We like to go on living as if nothing has happened and everything’s normal again, even when it’s not. In today’s Prophecy update, Pastor JD encourages you to not dismiss what you’ve been through but to let it drive you closer to God.

When we read the Bible, we will be more prepared for the things to come. So much fear can come from the unknown. God has given us his word so that we are able to determine the truth from the lies and build our lives on him. In today’s message, Pastor JD will be sharing about focusing on what the Bible teaches us!

Nobody likes adversity; no one wants to go through trials in life, because they’re not fun! But today, Pastor JD reminds us why it’s so important that we experience them; when things are all well and good, what reason do you have to walk with Christ? It’s when you go through tribulations that you’re drawn closer to Him.

Often times we hear, “The only thing you can do is pray.” And a lot of times that’s true! But today, Pastor JD reminds us that prayer isn’t always the answer - sometimes we need to act. Now, our actions should always begin with prayer, but that’s not where it ends. We need to learn our direction from God, and then MOVE.

Everyone gets to the end of their rope eventually; someone’s pushed you too far one too many times and you have to cut them out of your life. Today, Pastor JD reminds us that, while God’s rope has an end too, He’s much slower to get there. He’s not going to turn His back on you, but you have to put your faith into action.

The enemy wants to keep us from God. The only two things he can do is deceive and distract. If we are in the Word, then we know the Truth, but it’s easier to distract us.
